I am filing this complaint against boAt (Imagine Marketing Pvt. Ltd.) regarding a defective product and unsatisfactory resolution. I purchased boAt Airdopes 181 Pro earbuds and started facing connectivity issues. I raised a warranty claim, and the product was replaced multiple times; however, each replacement unit had similar defects, and the issue has not been resolved with a properly functioning product. During my first warranty claim, the company’s website showed a “pincode limit breached†error, which prevented me from submitting the request online, forcing me to visit a service center physically and incur additional expenses. Despite repeated failures and inconvenience caused, the company is offering only a 30% refund (₹284.71) based on their depreciation policy, which is unfair and unacceptable. I had already requested a full refund earlier, but it was not honored. I have escalated the matter through the National Consumer Helpline (Complaint No: 8913700) and also sent a final legal notice to the company. I request a full refund of the purchase amount along with reasonable compensation for the inconvenience and expenses incurred. If the issue is not resolved promptly, I will proceed with filing a case before the Consumer Commission through e-Daakhil under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Was this information helpful? |
