BookMyShow — company looting customer in the name of internet handling charges

As per the news on the internet, a case was filed against book my show for charging the customers extra amount under the name of internet handling charges.

Reserve bank of india said that these platforms do not have the authority to levy the fee. They further added that it is a gross violation of the central bank’s merchant discount rate (Mdr) regulations.

Today i booked ticket on bookmyshow & it continues to take internet handling charges. I was charged rs.54.28 as internet handling charges which is explained as booking charges of rs.46+ central gst @9% of rs4.14+ state [protected]@9% of rs.4.14.

I bought a voucher which i applied but due to network error tge transaction got cancelled not i am unable to redeem tgat voucher as it says already used voucher and cannot be refunded also
I want my refund as i already oaid 250 on magicpin to buy that voucher & have not been able to book my ticket please helo

Sorry for the trouble.

Ideally, due to an unsuccessful transaction the voucher code gets blocked for maximum 30 minutes post which you can reuse.

Hi,

We didn't mean to let you down.

Ideally, for an unsuccessful transaction the amount gets refunded within 4-5 working days, some banks may take 10 working days. Also, if you have used a wallet it will reflect within 24 hours.
