[Resolved] Bosch Home India — refrigerator malfunction - more importantly very poor customer service | |||
4 months ago i raised a ticket for the light flickering issue in my fridge. Frankly i don't understand why this is should occur within 3 years of purchase. My second instance. 1. Technician came and stated bulbs had to be replaced. He came a month later with the bulb but that solution did not work 2. After much follow up, another technician came 3 weeks later and tried installing a new switch. That too did not work. He then stated the motherboard had to be replaced and he would revert with a timeline within which the motherboard can be replaced. 3. Customer service at bangalore called 1 month later stating they had the spare and can they come to replace it which i agreed to. They never turned up. This was 2 months ago. 4. A month ago i commenced chasing up aggressively. I then called the call center and they initiated a call with the local service center at bangalore who promised "immediate action" 5. Over the past 3 weeks repeated commitments to send an engineer or call within the hour never occurred. I was asked to call mr. Mansoor mohammed the branch manager here but he never picks up the calls or responds. Absolutely appalling and deplorable. 4 months of chase up??? 6. I even set a note via the company website. No response. I am now at my wits end here besides being very frustrated and upset with the very poor after sales service while dealing with an completely inefficient customer service at bangalore who seem to lack any empathy or sensitivity. That aside i am stuck with a fridge that is malfunctioning within 3 years of purchase. Who can i speak to, to get this addressed? No one seems to care. Would it be a sr, executive in this company or a consumer form that can eventually help get this addressed? Who can i speak to raise a formal complaint against the bangalore service center??? I have also gone through the same issue. And ended up with a fridge having so many issues. It started with Alarm bell for which the technician said need to change the motherboard. After closing the fridge for 2-3 days and multiple calls they changed the motherboard and still, it was not cooling properly and too much ice was getting formed in the fridge.
Then technician said its issue with some sensor wires which need to be replaced so we paid 5000 for the motherboard and some 600 for sensor wires. Sensor wires came after 2-3 weeks. every time we called they used to say that they have placed an order for the same.
Even after changing that it was not working.
Again technician said switch off the fridge for 2 days to set the temperature.
It was like he was doing experiments and actually doesn't know the problem.
Even we were told to call MR. Mansoor here in Bangalore and he used to say that technician will come.
almost 6 months passed like this. And my Refrigerator is still not working fine.
