Boult Audio — Worst product service and functioning I've seen till now | |
I purchased a Boult product from Flipkart in January of 2021. The product was a Boult wireless freepods earpieces having in-ear bluetooth functionality. I had also registered for Boult's one-year warranty policy as required. Until July the product worked fine, but then the right earppiece suddenly stopped working even when it was connected to the phone. I raised a complaint request as required and I got an email from the support team that my product will be picked in a day and will be replaced soon. On 10th of July, I was notified that the product will be picked that day. I packed and handed over the product to the delivery person as stated by the support team mail received earlier. After that I was not informed by the support team when should I expect my replaced product even when I constantly kept mailing them regarding the status of my request. I was given the same lame answer each time that my product has been received at their Warehouse and will be dispatched in 3-4 days. Nearly for 2 weeks the same reply was given to me, and when I tried to call the customer support on the phone no. provided I was placed in a queue which was 30 mins. long. And many times as soon I reached 1-2 on queue, my phone got disconnected. Finally I was able to talk to the customer executive around 25th of July and I stated my issue, to which they replied that my product has been replaced and it will be dispatched in a week. So as stated earlier a total of 3 weeks was taken just to replace the product which was very disappointing already from the perspective of an established brand like Boult. i got an email from the customer support that my replaced product has been dispatched and I will receive it soon. I received the replaced product on 9th of August, after a month of waiting. But to my further disappointment, the replaced product I received was itself faulty in a new way. To specify the faults, the microphone on the earpiece was not transferring my voice during calls, even when I was able to hear the other person on the call. Also, the earpiece often went to power off mode while listening music, though it was sufficiently charged and I had not manually powered it off. This was quite frustrating as it was happening more often. To this, I again emailed the customer support stating my issue with the replaced product, to which I have been repeatedly replied to from the customer support that my replaced product has been dispatched and I will receive it soon. The same reply that I got even when the replaced product was to be delivered. This kind of behavior from the customer support of a brand like Boult Audio is not what I had expected and I want some help to resolve this issue soon. I am also stating my Case Reference No. 00167464, which was used to raise a complaint in the first place. Was this information helpful? | |
