[Resolved] Tata Photon / Tata DoCoMo Broadband — Generating bills for which I have not used the service/ Threatening SMS to pay the bill/registering case for the same | |||
I was using the tata photon broadband service from Feb 2011. On, 10/17/12 I have raised a request to disconnect the service, service number[protected], but for some reasons we have asked not to cancel for that particular month. Then again we requested to cancel on 18/11/12 to disconnect the service, Service no[protected], but it did not happened and I received a call and they said the connection will be suspended for 6 months and no bill will be generated for this month. But again the suspension did not happen and the service no[protected] got closed on 12/02/12. Again I have requested to close the account on 28th Jan 2013, Service no[protected], but again nothing happened. I received a threatening SMS on 8th Feb 2013, which I have in my mobile, that today 3 PM is the deadline for paying the full amount (i.e. including january's bill) or otherwise I'll be getting a legal notice and my mane will be registered in CIBIL. When I called customer service on 9th Feb 2013, they said that its the mistake happened from them that they did not process the request of suspension and this will be resolved by 13th Feb 2013, ref No[protected] and this was closed on 11th Feb 2013. And then another service request[protected] and date extended to 21th Feb 2013. Then I received another SMS on 16th Feb 2013 (from no:[protected]), that the case has been filed, KAR/13012, with the fine of Rs. 20,000. and again I called customer service on same day and explained all this to Mr.Chitresh Kumar and again he gave me another service no:[protected] and said that this will be resolved by 18h of Feb 2013. Again I have received another SMS on 18th Feb 2013 that the processing will be delayed for another two days. On 22nd Feb 2013 (from no:[protected]), I have received another SMS saying again that the case, KAR/13012, has been registered and the due of 20000 has to be paid. Even though they have made mistake in processing the request, they are asking me to pay for their faults and mismanagement. There is no co-ordination between the request service and the other section which takes care of the recovery issues. Was this information helpful? | |||

What a pathetic company!!! They have sent me same msg from same mobile number and with same fine amount. They should be ashamed of asking and threatening consumers without giving proper service. And to add something surprising, your case no. and my case no. are same. lol..., sending same msg to everyone. looted around 17-18 thousands from me and not at all given satisfactory or i must say far from satisfactory service and then threatening me...shame on you tata photon team. i have been using tata indicom cdma, after that still using tata docomo and both given fully satisfactory services. but tata photon is a disaster.
