Hello, i write to you in desperation as my family has been taking turns with severe health problems for an year now. Some local sugarcane juice business is burning up all the waste in plastic bags at odd unsuspicious hours daily. The flames reach a height over 1-2 floors from ground, it also is a serious risk of an accident. Please see attachments.

We the residents of 4th a main, shamanna gowda wish to bring to your notice the hardships faced by us during the rains on 4th september 2017, 15th august 2017 and the one prior to that on 8th march 2017. On 15th august 2017, we could not go out of our houses as the ground floor of all houses was submerged in drain water, upto one and a half feet in some cases. Vehicles and household appliances were completely submerged and damaged beyond repair. Bangalore mirror in their edition dated 19th august 2017 has published the damages caused due to rains and the same is ecnlosed for your reference.

Even after rains stopped there was no respite for us as we could not walk out of our houses as the entire area was covered by layers of silt and filth that came gushing out of the storm water drain. This was compounded by the unbearable stench of the swd that the silt has brought along with it. When it became absolutely necessary for us to go out of our houses, we had to hop from one house to the other, as it was impossible to step out onto the street. We had to continue with this exercise for the next 4 days and it was quite difficult for parents who had to walk with their little ones in their arms. Children and elderly people who fell ill during the rain had to be given home remedies as it was not possible to take them to the clinic. Many people could not go to work or school even the day after as the roads were not cleaned.
When it rained on 8th march 2017, our corporator wsas present and he was witness to the inconvenience caused to the residents and the financial losses incurred. Last time around each house incurred losses of about rs.30, 000/- and the situation was no different this time. The rainwater has damaged furniture, household appliances and vehicles in almost every house in the layout. Many houses still had a stench from the dirty water for days after the water-logging, leading to fears of disease. This time there was no support from authorities in cleaning up the silt and we had to do the same ourselves. Adding insult to injury is the fact that there has been no garbage collection in our locality since last 3 weeks. We live in constant fear of a recurrence of the water logging anytime it rains heavily. There is a significant health hazard due to the accumulation of garbage, silt and breeding of mosquitoes during and after the rains. With hardly any corrective action post 15th august 2017, more damage was inflicted during rains on 4th september 2017.
Please note apart from this hardships, for the residents of shamanna gowda layout it is usual practice to clean the sump and water tank several times during this period. Now the north east monsoon is ahead and if this work is not completed within two months, again we have to face the same problem.

On 20th august 2017 at around 830 am, mr. Harris and his team had come to shamanna gowda layout for inspections and we briefed him of our concerns and desired corrective and preventive action.
We the residents, appeal to you to take corrective action by restructuring the road and expediting the construction of the retaining wall and bridge of the swd immediately so that drain water and silt does not get accumulated in the layout after rains. Work on the retaining wall of the swd has been very slow and needs monitoring by the concerned authorities so as to complete it at the very earliest. Further, in the event of any water logging, immediate action in terms of garbage collection and cleaning of the street would be highly appreciated.

The concerned inspectors are not responding. Kindly coordinate with concerned bbmp inspectors and garbage collecting men kindly do the needful and oblige

Dear team,
Today 2 oct we expected that garbage team will arrive. It has been 2 weeks i cannot see any one near to my place yellachanhalli ganna regency. All the people throughing on the road. Only cleaning main road wont support. We request you to please take proper step.
Last time when we spoke to your guy who collect the garbage he said sir. We are not getting support from them so, we requested to paid some amount to come daily. Still after this continued for few days but then agian stopped.

Now let me know where we can put our garabge or every morning we must search you are vechile.

Hence, please take proper step and take attendance.

I am having house in bhcs 4th stage, near pattalamma temple, uttarahalli. Ward number 182. House number 180. 2 street lights have not been working in front of my house. Night it is impossible to approach this place. I have been giving complaint after complaint to bbmp. There is no response. But my house tax is being collected to the extent of rs.7000 every year by bbmp....

Its been 2 weeks that the garage collectors hasnt come to our area. Not only in our area but this seems the problem of all the people in nearby areas. The garage is lying on roads now. We cannot dump 2 weeks of garbage at home. This causes ill health. The situation already worst. We are very disappointed by this. This is not first time. Its happening on regular basis now. Doesn't it become thier responsibility to collect the wastes? What are they getting paid for then!

The complainant hereby submit that a tree wrongly planted by the bbmp in the drain in front of her house is not removed by the bbmp despite repeated requests.
2) it is submitted that the bbmp is legally bound to remove the crooked tree from the entrance of the complainant's premises which cause hindrance to the movement of elders and children. Though this is hazardous, the officials of forest department and local corporator of ward no.59 took a decision that tree cannot be removed in the interest of public.
3) in view of the above, your kindness is requested to pass order to remove the subject tree as the difficulties faced by the complainant's family cannot outweigh the larger public interest.

Due to accumulation of sewage water on siver county road, the movement of vehicles is very slow. The water gets collected on the road since last one year. Continuous deposit of water on the road has created huge potholes. The road is now in commutable and creates huge traffic jams.
Deposit of sewage water on road creates health problems as well.

Request bbmp to pay attention to this and correct the problem so to enable...

I am residing in hal 3rd stage. The day the garbage collecting lady picked up the garbage she asked for money and i gave her what i thought would be a monthly charge. But she began requesting for the same every week. Ever since i refused, she stopped picking up the garbage. Garbage is now just piling up.

Noise may not seem as harmful as the contamination of air or water, but it is a pollution problem that affects human health and can contribute to a general deterioration of environmental quality.

Is it truly necessary for the garbage trucks to play loud music while collecting garbage at the most peaceful time of the day? It is safe to say that every resident can afford to keep a garbage bin outside every house gate for the facilities to pick it up every morning. Why opt for the disturbing way when there's a more peaceful way to get this done.

Issue we face every morning - every morning the garbage trucks collects garbage faithfully while disturbing the whole society. They play bollywood music at a high volume so that the residents are aware that the truck has arrived and they can drop off the garbage. While i understand this is more convenient, it is not necessary. The garbage truck boys don't even step out of their vehicles. Residents have to be on stand by mode and wait for the noise to arrive.

Dear sir, this is with reference to garbage accumulation on all sides of the building alankar apartments 55/12, 39th cross, 4th t block, bengaluru 560-041. No one has been clearing it and the stench is unbearable and it is impossible to walk in the pavement due to this garbage accumulation.in today's day and age it is a shame that a beautiful city like bengaluru has regressed to this state instead of improving. Dear sir/madam,
I am lakshmish shashidhara, staying in no. 14, 4th cross, navodaya nagara, jp nagar 7th phase, bangalore – 560076 (Bbmp ward 195). During 2016-17 (Sas base application no. 1718929), an excess tax of rs. 2, 057/- was collected. From almost four months we are visiting bbmp office and given all the documents the ri has asked. We have made atleast 100 calls to ri, aro and few other officials in the office of bbmp office ward 195, written representation, atleast 25 visits but nothing is happening. Inspite of producing confirmation from canara bank, dated 06.05.2017, the ri and aro demanded to get the full days transaction for which bank official also was not convinced. Later looking at our trouble he agreed to give - dated 20.06.2017.

I have even raised the issue on the bbmp app platform, this also has not given me any solution other than a acknowledgement number. I see gap in coordination between the aro and ri which is resulting delay in the work.in this unanswered delay by the officials, i have lost the 5% rebate and also charged interest for the delay. Now with an expectation of getting a solution, i am writing you with all the details. With all the technology and resources bbmp has this delay is clear indication of purposeful act and troubling the consumer. Who do you think should be charged for all the loss?

The norbert church lane road has been completely damaged. Its not being maintained from past many years. Now very big pot holes have been formed due to negligence with road maintenance. As many vehicles are moving on this road hence lot of pollution happening.

This road has not been maintained from past many years. Please take care of this road put a tar or concrete layer. Maintain the open drainage.
Multiple times vehicles feel into this drain as its in open condition.
Kindly take care of your citizens living in this area. The amount of pollution arising in this area can lead to many health issues.

Sir, i am a resident of koramangala 6th block. This is to bring to your notice that most of the drains in this area have been de - silted/cleaned but the drains on
6th 'b' cross, 18th main (Adjacent to dr. Satya dental clinic) have not been cleaned and are causing lots and lots of problems. Even after rains stop the water is clogged on the road and is also entering some of the houses.
Sir, even the old sewer pipes have not been changed for this lane as has been done in most of the 6th block.
Kindly help by cleaning the drains asap for immediate relief for residents of this lane.

I am the secretary of the apartment located at 17th cross, 22nd main, j p nagar 5 th phase.

There is a empty plot belonging to narayanswamy in the same location next to our apartment. There is a lot of garbage thrown around by the bbmp people (Cleaning staff) themselves. We have connected to the authorities on so many occasions, however there has been no response. Secondly the garbage is a place of so many snakes, rats and mosquitoes. The area health officer has been contacted so many times on the issue, but we are not getting any positive response. The area corporator (Padmavati) bjp party has simply net responded to our issues. We are requesting you to kindly look into the issue and help us on the same.

Dear Sir/Mam,

There is a continuous fever rampant among the residents for past 2-3 months of Vishweshwariah Layout, 2nd cross, Devarachikkanahalli, Off Bannerughatta Main road, Bangalore 560076.

This is mainly due to
1. Uncleaned water stagnant around areas
2. Vacant sites causing lot of mosquito breeding
3. Untreated sewage water and unclosed drainage chanal flowing causing rampant breeding of mosquito and thereby causing infections among residents.

Kindly look into the issue.
