I have paid for my property tax on[protected] . The lady Shashikala siiting at the computer asked me to come another day for the receipt. Why I need to come another day she didnt gave any reason . Today is[protected] . As of now I have not received the tax receipts . Today she told me that the concern person who needs to provide a signature on the receipt is not there . The Tax inspector Mr Muniappa from the BBMP Mahadevpura is not coming to the whitefield office ... reason they didnt told ... they simply said go to the BBMP office in Hoody and get your receipt from there ... also when asked for the address the lady Shashikala was too lazy to give the address .. simply said go to Hoody and ask the autowalas ... IS this the way the govt ppl work ?????

Also it is quite inconvenient for the ppl working on weekdays to do a followup so many times leaving ur office ... The lady sitting there was doing nothing and simply sitting but was not ready to listen or help you ... I am sure now my venture to get the receipt from the Hoody office will also be rough ... I came to know from neighbours that this BBMP office in Prashant Layout,Whitefield dont give the tax receipts on the same day and u hv to beg them several times to get it done ... Its my house my money that I am paying but these lazy govt ppl wont be doing their job properly ....

I want to know is there any proper channel where I can lodge an official complain

We the resident's of , 3rd cross IInd main, B.K. Nagar, Yeshwanthpur,Bangalore-22.

We are facing the problem of drainage blockage, due to which the water is reversing back into homes, and it's flowing in streets(from Drynage pits) past several months(we lodged complaints in yeshwanthpur,BBMP),.and what water bbmp people are supplying as drinking water (but it's nothing but purified sanitary water) has sanitary smeel, so many times we given complaints to bbmp and counsilor munirathnam, but it's waste, but no one has taken any action till today

Dear,
This reference the delay of completion of drainage works. The work was started on May 2,2011. till today it is not completed.This cause a great hardship to house owner and public transport. we are not able to take the vehicle in and out of our premises, As it is the road is very narrow. Repeated phone calls and remainder to the contractor gave no results.

Location of the Work:
Fisrt main raod, muthyala nagar, Near shankar nag railway gate, between Rail rate and MES road.
The contractor Name e. Naveen, and name of the supervisor at the site is Mr. Praveen.

I request you to take suitable action to complete the work fast.

Hello Sir,
I reside at 3rd main, 8th cross , Talakaveri layout , Amruthahalli.None of the street lights in our road is working.. Night times it is veri difficult to commute.. There are lot snakes near our area. Please look into the matter.

Also Garbage collection is not happenning in our road.. All the poeple are dumping the garbage in the vacant plots.. Please look into this matter tooo...

Larsen & Toubro Limited, is developing Group Hosing project named South City at Bangalore. Mr Dinesh Ranka is land owner and L&T is the developer. I have bought a flat in the project with area of 945 sq. ft.

The total project is for construction of more than 2000 flats and connected civic amneties. The plan consists a park , 60 feet road adjscent road ( running east to west). The total land is 34 acres. The builder...

We are staying in Begur Road Mico Layout since approx 10 years. We do not have roads to our house also proper street lights.
In rainy season, water comes towards my house and does not flow further. The stagnant water stinks.
Nobody cares even after complaining to online BBMP Helpline. Further to this, our layout is got divided into 2 wards- no one owns the responsibility.
Right now, since 31st May’11 water is stagnant near my house due to blockades on the way to Raj Canal (to carry Rain water)
Second complaint is about non-working of street light.

I am not sure, will anybody listen to our complaints or not.

We have given complaint to BBMP as our neighbor closed the drainage area ,because of that rain water is entering to our home.
BBMP engineer visited once and he told to contact owner. We did all formalities with the owner and now BBMP ppl has to come and do the rest of the work, when we call again he is telling i have other lots of work not only this. is this the way our govt works.

Khatha appln dtd[protected] coupled with Bankers cheque no 013647 dtd[protected] for Rs 29332 encashed by CMC Commissioner on[protected] refers. Subsequent reminders during 2005 have yielded no result. Many of the applicants applied later and got khatha tfrs probably on bribes. From[protected] Khatha tfrs by CMCs stopped by Govt order. My case is still pending with no response. Will it be taken to the commissioner through this complaint and khatha tfd in my name.

Case mark2005/1487 dtd[protected] is still pending. This case refers to Khatha tfr from late mother to only daughter. PID no 9-20-8 property at 4356/8 3rd crs Subramanyanagar Bg560021. All papers submitted along with 200 Rs bribe to the incharge to get the originals vfd. Rs 1500 was extracted from my messenger. 100s of trips yielded no results. Still pending

The BBMP Bangalore has been making Huge Profits by Collecting Huge Amounts of Property Taxes from Residents in Bangalore. Unreasonable amounts of Property taxes are being fixed & collected. So far no action has been taken. The BBMP has been collecting Crores together in Property tax but not doing anything for the welfare of citizens paying property tax
Stringent action should be taken against so that unreasonable amounts of Property tax are not collected.

I am very sorry to regrettably that your BBMP officials like GIS, Assistant Revenue Officer B.S. CHANDRASHEKAR, and others at Revenue Section are working blindly, signing to Form "A" Registers for property tax Assessment unscientifically without measuring/assessing properly practically inspecting at the spot of the Constructed or built up areas, they are assessing approximately i think they should assess property taxes accurately and they should know the accurate period of construction completion, the Taxes already paid for the particular property this is the procedure you also know. but your BBMP people are doing this. For example The Notice of Properties entered in Form"A" Register Ref: DA/KTR/46920/10-11 DATED[protected] sent to me (N.MOHAN RA0, 48, DUO RESIDENCY LAYOUT JAKKUR PLANTATIONS, WARD NO.07 BYATARAYANAPURA, BANGALORE NORTH MEASURING 30 x 50) I Started construction in April 2009 and finished in[protected] wih i nor works pe din g, but as per your (BBMP)the n otice shows pay the taxes from 2008 for the constructed building (built up area) how? why? how it can be? tell me Sir, I am eligible to pay the tax for the constructed buildup area from[protected] only am I right ? secondly your notice shows self occupied area 2.000 Sq/fts., first and second floor but actually/exactly it is 1050 Sqfts., 1st floor and 750 sqfts., 2nd floor totally 1,746 sq.fts., only ( rough plan/measurement details with objection letter has sent to the ARO, BBMP already dated[protected]
thirdly I have also paid the property tax for the Year 2008-09 Rs.1,260-00, for 2009-10 Rs.1,188-00 and for 2010-11 Rs.910-00 for vacant site. please take necessary action in this regard immedialy.

Sir,
I wish to bring to your notice the unswept, uncleaned heap of garbage in front of my house for the past week. this is often the case since last one year . The sweeper ( a lady ) refuses to sweep and remove the leaves because I have trees in front of my house which shed the leaves in this season! Am I being punished for planting trees ?
Or is this what a honest house tax payer gets in return?
Can the authorities concerned take some action at 8th main, 46, Brindavan Nagar, Mathikere?

Dear BBMP Personnels,
This to bring to your kind notice that we are very unhappy with your services, the whole idea why this body is formed is to serve the public but what if you yourself are turning into a public nuisance.
This is with regard to an apartment called Aishwarya Resedency,2nd Main,3rd Cross,GM palaya, Beml Gate In, New Tippasandra P.O, Bangalore-560075 which was built way back in 2000 and the plot was sanctioned in 1994 under BDA limits.The construction after several external barriers had started and after several litigations from a third party called Krishna Murthy with his Money and Political Approach who has a special interest in increasing our agony & unwanted interferences, Finally the construction was over and all the 40 flats were sold to the needy public, but tomorrow on 22nd Feb the BBMP have decided to Demolish this Appartment along with police protection & with a court order.
Is it fair on your part to keep quite & sleep for so many years and now Wake up and take up an action when there are families living in it, people have given their hard earned savings into it,For your information Not always money,Power & contacts can rule the situation as you think and as citizens we have all the rights to expose your wrong doings into the lime light,how long will you overshadow your own mistakes and to save yourselves crucify poor families. Today only 40families are crying & raising voices for their homes but tomorrow it will be 80 or even more then what will you do, not always you can play like puppets in others hands and remember not always you can save yourselves from such nasty doings.
If you people have some Humanity Left in you please don't let this demolish-en happen, it is a humble request, plea or begging from a citizen of this country, please save our lives & our homes we have no where else to go, we would rather die on that land but wont let this happen and you will be held responsible for it.

Hello,

I was commuting to home from office in the night, Street dog bite happend to me.

There is drastic increase of street dogs at OM Shakthi Layout , Muniyappa Layout, Garvebhavi palya Streets and Main roads,.

It is fearing environment has created due to huge number of dogs in the night.

I am Kindly Requesting to concerned Authority to take action before repeat of seviour injures to other people.

We had applied for the Birth Certificate at Madiwala( Near Ayyapa telmple) Birth Registration for my kid , which is required for the school admission , Now more than 20 days, they have not process the certificate,

The person name called Ratnamma( [protected]) taken the application and also taking 600 Rs from us and not giving the proper information, I had called the Chief register office I came to know that these ppl not authorize to take the application if the birth certificate required is more than 1 years .

Pls let help me to get the certificate and pls advise the citizen not to proceed this kind of ppl who will cheat even the educated ppl also.

THERE IS NO PROPER RAIN WATER DRAIN IN WARD NO.13 NEAR SHUBODAYA SCHOOL IN BHEL COLONY PIPE LINE T.DASARAHALLI BANGALORE 56 0057. I HAVE GIVEN SEVERAL COMPLAINTS AT BBMP OFFICE AND THERE IS NO PROPER RESPONSE, THERE IS NO PERIODIC CLEANING, REMOVAL AND TRANSPORT OF SILT IN THE EXISTING DRAINS, DURING HEAVY RAINS THE WATER RUSH IN TO THE HOUSES WHICH ARE IN DOWN THE LEVEL. THERE IS AN URGENT NEED IN MAKING NEW BIGGER CANAL TO REDRESS THIS PROBLEM. FURTHER IN THIS WARD THERE IS NO UNDER GROUND SEWAGE SYSTEM AND NO SUPPLY OF POTABLE DRINKING WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM.

LAST YEAR BBMP HAS MADE NEW ROAD AND SMALL CANALS ALONG SIDE THE ROAD BUT THEY ARE NOT SERVING THE PURPOSE AND BEING WASTED THE MONEY ON IT. ALL THE WATER IN LOCALITY IS BEING DIRVERED IN TO A SMALL 2 FOOT WIDE AND 1 FOOT DEEP CANAL AND HENCE THERE IS HEAVY FLOODS AND HOUSES ARE FLOODED DURING RAINY SEASON.

WITH A HUMBLE TONE I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY TAKE UP THIS CAUSE WITH CONCERNED AUTHORITY IMMEDIATELY.

a construction coming up near 2nd cross, S.R. Krishnappa gArdens, opp: mutton shop is not using protective cover for construction thus exposing the public to hazard. And further they are using unauthorised electricity from the near by pole may be through the collusion of Bescom linemen. This sorts of things happen every now and then and no body cares since the oficial colusiion. Deepak

Dear Sir / Madam,

The drainage near Srinidhi Layout (Sai Garden) area is overflowing and became an attraction for lot of insects. This has lead to mosquitos attacking nearby residencial areas.

Also, the Road work near this area was done partially during last year December and then after, there is complete silence and no progress. The black stones came out and it is very risky for two wheelers to drive on this road.

Request BBMP / responsible body to help for the welfare of people residing this area.

STREET LIGHTS IN 3A MAIN BALAJI LAYOUT VIDYARANYAPURA NOT WORKING .

Dear Sir,

I write this mail to have your attention on the disturbing garbage collection zones on the Tank Shore road, circumnavigating the BTM Lake, in BTM layout, 2nd stage, Bangalore-76.

I reside in one of the apartments facing the B.T.M Lake in B.T.M Layout, 2nd stage, Bangalore-76. The Tank shore road which circumvents the lake is an important and beautiful road of the locality where people walk, jog & exercise early mornings. It has been found that this road is flocked by not only the nearby residents but people living in the far off area for the said.

Off late, it has been seen that the road has become a dumping ground for garbage all over. At around 3-4 places , the BBMP garbage collectors dump the garbage. This garbage then becomes a favorite spot for animals, dogs & other insects. This leads to the garbage getting spread all over the road at various places. This has made the road so dirty, filthy & unhygienic. The atmosphere smells foul all the time & it has become such a big mess to walk on the roads as there are dogs all the time & garbage is all on the road.

My sincere request, as a resident of the locality, is to immediately draw your attention towards the said grave problem & address the concern.
