BSNL — Disconnected connection but still getting bills

I've disconnected my bsnl landline & broadband connection online by raising a service request on 20 june 2016, the status of the request is also closed. But i still got a bill to be paid for the next three months. When contacted, the customer care they ask me to submit a letter personally. Then what is the point in having an online method of getting things disconnected. Now i moved out of hyderabad, i just cant go there only to get this done. Such useless service.

Our bsnl landline with broadband stopped working since may25' 2020. Complaint was logged, registered and closed without attending or solving the problem. Again we logged complaint and same thing happened complaint booked and closed without solving. The custome rcare staff were rude . We personally went to bsnl service office during corona crisis to sought out the issue, bsnl staff reception was poor, the best they can do was to ask us to log the complaint once again. And we logged the complaint for the 3rd time, a service person was sent after one week to diagnose the problem . After inspecting, the service person said that ' the underground cable is faulty, to sought the issue it may take a lot of time''. We got fed up with the whole issue so,
We in person went to submit BSNL DISCONNECTION filled form with needed supporting documents and the irony was the main office was closed. We tried twice and some roadside vendor informed us that due to corona the bsnl office is working ONLY FOR HALF A DAY. No such information was mentioned outside the office . Finally we could submit the disconnection letter on June 18th which was accepted and acknowledged.

We received SMS on 26 June 2020 Disconnect is provisioned. And we still receiving bills .

Such negligence ! Poor service, careless behavior .
