BSNL — FTTH Connection not given

Hi

I am Poonkundran residing at 90, 6th Main road, Ambedkar Nagar, Whitefield, Bangalore.

I have a BSNL Landline connection and broadband connection.

It was advertised in the BSNL portal for FTTH new connections, I have also appiled for FTTH connection in the BSNL selfcare portal. But it was closed after sometime with out making any comments or new connection.

When i approached BSNL office, whitefield, they told that the connection will be given only to apartments and not for individual houses.

If they can not give the connection for individual houses, why are they advertising in the web site and everywhere for such connections.

Is FTTH applicable only for apartments?. If i could not get a FTTH connection in a major IT city like Bangalore, how about towns and villages?

Please resolve the problem as soon as possible.
