BSNL — Number disabled saying not registered, using it since 5 years.

I have been using this number for the past 5 years. Last month I got a message "Not registered on network". I registered a complaint :2A17807262 which was opened on 17/1/2015 and closed with no action on 20/12015. They said there is no name associated with the number in bsnl records. Its not my fault that bsnl records are faulty. I have been uning this number for far too long and don't want to let it go because of bsnl'd fault. Please give me back my number and activate the sim.
