Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances — butterfly two burner stainless steel gas stove problem | |
I bought this Rhino SS butterfly gas stove in January 2018. Unfortunately it happens to be my wrong choice. I had a very bad experience with Faber glass top stove before hence I want to switch over to some other brand and choose this crap. Initially the big burner was not burning properly and it made gup gup sound when burning. The service engineers came and tested and said OK. But after my repeated complaints, they changed the brass burner and it stopped. It happened to be not aligned with the base and there is a air leak which made the sound. To my astonishment it was certified OK by the quality check. The second problem was there was a mild gas leak from the knob on the Big burner side and it was attended by 3 service engineers and said OK. But still I smell the gas leaks mildly from the burner knob side. The engineer was adamant and refused to change the required component to arrest it completely leaving the risk to me. I think they hesitate to change the components in warranty - they boasts one year warranty for the stove. Even I told the service engineer to change the component and I will pay for it. He refused and asked to me contact customer care. The customer care easily pass on the baton to their franchise who deals with the repair in my locality and the service engineer refuse to change the component and asks me again to contact the customer care. They are playing this ball throwing game with customers like us. I had burnt my finger second time and will not go for this brand for any of the kitchen appliances. A disappointed customer.
