EC-Council Complaints & Reviews
pathetic response/ no response

I've gone through painful process with EC-Council whilst applying for the re-test with such a lengthy process and to my surprise no one is available to answer the chat nor any one one is responding to my call every time I call the number (+[protected] a lady picks the phone and disconnects. To apply for the retest one has to wait for them to send the payment link and then after the payment we have to wait for the confirmation from the finance team and no one has clue of the TAT it can be a day, two, three etc.. My only concern is EC-Council as a well known company doesn't even have quick chat support or in other words I can say EC-Council has no customer care at all. You will not even find a local customer care number for any resolution.

ceh certification
| Website: www.eccouncil.org |
I cancel the appointment of the CEH test and request the refund application of the CEH certification. Finance Leela Finance who is the window to help me apply the refund says the refund would be sent at the end of February.
But I have not received the refund and No one can help me to understand the situation. I have not received any response from 3/28 2018.
So now I have not received the refund and I also can't attend CEH certification.
I spent 950$ for not thing... and no one replies me by mail or phone, It is very unprofessional. So I have no idea how can I do now...

Exam material provided was older than the exam version

Date of incident: 1st February 2016
description:
registered at EC Council for their CEHV8 exam and paid $600 so got V8 material, scheduled the exam for CEHv8 using the voucher provided by EC Council. Exam had 20-30% questions from CEHV9 caused me to fail.
EC-council withdrew the previous version of their Certified Ethical Hacker's exam, version 8, without any notice, and began issuing their version 9 exam. Students who paid for and attended training for EC-Council's version 8 exam were given version 9 exams without notice, thus many individuals failed the version 9 exam, as students had prepared for version 8. Upon notifying EC-Council of the incorrect exam being administered, EC-Council's response has, thus far, been to deny they even have different versions of their CEH exam and instead are claiming they only have one overall exam.
A simple Google search and visit to EC-Council's own website clearly demonstrates they have indeed had several different versions of their CEH exam and they have provided materials vouchers with the version numbers and DO NOT only have one overall exam, as EC-Council is claiming.
EC-Council offers study material for their version 9 CEH exam at a hefty $850 and they also offers their own version 9 training camp, also at a hefty price, but deny ever having more than one version of their CEH exam.
EC-Council has received many complaints regarding students having been administered version 9 of their CEH exam without notice of it's release, but only offer a less than truthful response, more or less telling consumers "too bad." The cost of one's first attempt at the exam is $500 with a $100 application fee, so $600 total. Students who paid to attend classes for version 8 exam, but were given version 9 of the exam and thus failed, were told to pay again at a reduced price of $350 for exam and extra money for CEHV9 material. They have made education a money minting way.
There are lot of websites and forums where people are trying to seek help but, i think having a complaint is the only solution left for justice.
Ec Council website: http://www.eccouncil.org/Support/global-sites/india
EC Council have a India center in Hyderabad
Attached are the relavant documents and emails of the same.
desirable solution:
retest and provision for new study material of CEHv9 as they say the exam is common no version.
