Please find below the observations regarding patient Krishna Roy Bed No 320 ITU at Dumdum ILS Hospital. She got admitted to your hospital on 26th July 2021 with some body movement issue.
When CT Scan and MRI revealed that there was no neuro issue why did you require the neuro doctor to continue to visit the patient till date
You applied 4 antibiotic injections on 26th July, can you point out the diagnosis and report which required such high dosage of antibiotics
Did you get any blood clot that required DVT from day 1 till date
You have done 66 different types of tests on a patient with no history of any infection, early reports suggest she got admitted with no infection then how did she get the infection suddenly resulting into too much application of antibiotics and cost to patient party
There can be n number of reasons for which a patient can have body temperature, does that mean you will do every type of tests on the patient...then how so many doctors are helping to diagnose the disease
You have billed 1.1 lakhs just for pharmacy cost. This is unbelievable for a patient who got admitted with only neuro symptoms.
Why did you require multiple highly expensive antibiotics injections to apply multiple times on the same day?
Medicines and Lab tests are available at a discounted(approx. 25%) rate everywhere, why are you charging the MRP rate to us?
For not so much critical case you have made a bill of close to 4.5 lakhs. You seem to have a clear target of making at least Rs. 50, 000 everyday from each patient who are admitted to your ITU irrespective of their health issues.
Overall our reading from the provisional billing suggests that you have added multiple unnecessary expenses and hiked up the overall cost to the patient party. We are unable to bear such a high cost and request you to review the billing.
