Hello
I had undergone a root canal and a cap treatment done around 6 months back, but the cap has come out 4 times in this span, apparently the previous doctor is on leave and the new attending doctor says that I need to get a new cap made, all after paying 17500 for the entire treatment, now they are saying that they will need to do a cap replacement and without a warranty card I will have to pay again, I fail to understand what are the online systems for ?. Also what a waste of consumer time and money.

    Came in for an appointment to get my invisalign and went to the customer service desk, spoke with annabell and she informed me that i was 2 months behind in my payments. After informing her that was impossible she proceeded to count on her fingers the months i was behind loud where other customers could here. I ended the conversation. Once i got back to my office, anna the office manager called to inform me that she went over my bill and my bill was actually paid in full because i had been making more on my monthly payments.
    I called today, october 16th to schedule an appointment to pick up my invisalign and annabell informed we that i would have to wait until a dentist comes in and they would give me a call. I didn’t understand what that had to do with me picking up my invisalign. I usually go in, get them put in and leave as i stated to her. She said we will call you when a dentist comes in. I asked to speak to anna. Anna said we have a dentist in but she needs to get the training and it will be at least a week or two.

    Annabell doesn’t explain things, she is rude, and unprofessional. I purposely try and avoid her. She embarrassed me in front of other customers and doesn’t know how to talk in a professional environment.

    I have paid my bill off early and will continue to pay once my invisalign is done with my permanent retainer. I will not recommend anyone to my dentist in lawton and i’m disappointed in this behavior of an employee.

      Annabelle the customer service assistant in lawton, ok is unprofessional and rude. I came in to make a payment and she informed me i was behind in my payments. After a few discussions she proceeded to count on her fingers the months that was a supposed to be behind. Not only was she loud it was embarrassing. After i left anna, the manager called and informed me i was not behind and my bill was actually paid in full and i was ahead.

      I called today, october 16th, and she answered the phone. I was trying to make an appointment for my invisalign ine only to be informed their is no doctor available and as she stated rudely “i would just have to wait until they get a doctor in”. I needed more clarity and again anna came and explained that the doctor was in she just hasn’t been trained and she needed to be there just in case something happens. I informed anna that annabell doesn’t explain we’ll. For the service i have paid for and will continue to pay after my invisalign is done with my permanent retainer, i expect to be treated with respect. Even if i was behind in a payment, the whole office should’ve known it and there was no apology after the fact. She needs to be professional at all times. I purposely avoid speaking with her when i come in because of her unprofessional and rude behavior.

        I have paid Rs 6500.00 as advance payment for dental treatment. Now I'm not in a position to pay remaining amount and take up the treatment as I lost my job I don't have enough money to pay.
        I've been requesting for refund since last two months, but there is no response from My Dentist doctors and head office employees.
        There is no proper response.

          This would be a detailed description, but I want the consumer complaint forum to fully understand the circumstances and the unfair treatment at various levels by My dentist regarding my brother's treatment.

          The Ghatkopar west branch of My dentist has an extremely lethargic and mindless staff. I have been receiving Ortho treatment at this very same branch from eight months and have never had such an experience before.
          My brother (Rahul Talekar, 13 year old) registered for an Ortho treatment on July 28, 2016. We decided to pay the amount in installments and were supposed to pay every installment in every sitting, which would be once every following 6 months. however, due to maladjustment of dates for the treatment from the branch (twice) and from our side (once), my brother did not receive any treatment till two months. we were given an updated date (which was 19 September 2016) for the commencement of the treatment on 4 Sept 2016 and told to come on that date at 4pm.

          I get a confirmation call on 17 Sept 2016, telling me I have an appointment at 11am on 19 sept along with my brother.
          As 17th sept was a saturday, I realized, my brother would have school on 19th and would not be available again for treatment before 2pm and the Ortho-dentist (Dr. Kyumi) would leave the clinic at 2pm.

          To avoid this repeated delay of treatment, I requested the doctor at the branch on 19 Sept 2016 to wait for a while so as to not postpone his treatment further. they did not agree and instead offered me to visit the Chembur east branch of My dentist at 6pm on the same day to avail the treatment without delay.

          my parents did not like that we would have to travel so much to avail the treatment which is already delayed for two months and rightfully our to have in the branch we registered, just because of the refusal of adjustment of timings from the doctors at ghatkopar branch. This shows utter disregard for the patient's convenience and priority of the doctor's schedule over the timely treatment of the patient by the management of My dentist Ghatkopar branch.

          So, we decided to adjust on our side and my mother brought my brother from school all the way to the clinic directly by 1:45pm. As we reached before the doctor had to leave, we thought finally, the ortho treatment of my brother would start.

          But, there was another female doctor at the branch who we had never seen before (Dr. Shrutika) who told us to pay two installments in advance right there if we were to receive the treatment. she refused to begin the treatment on Rahul even when the ortho specialist was sitting free right besides us and was ready to operate. She claimed that we had not paid two installments of the fees (August and September) and will not receive any treatment unless we pay it beforehand. This sudden call for money was shocking as we had not expected to pay two installments. we knew we had to pay installments per sitting of treatment which never happened in the month of august and that is the reason, we did not pay. also, we were going to pay the next installment as soon as the treatment began (1st sitting) which was on 19th sept.
          The doctor refused to tell us her name (I found it out on my own later on) when I asked her. She replied in anger and I quote, "I don't want to tell you and I am not answerable to you." when we asked her why are you asking for two installments without any prior notice of two days at least, she refused to answer and only demanded money and told us to leave if we did not have money.
          My mother enraged by this attitude of hers, demanded loudly "How can you refuse the treatment to us and say we cannot pay. we are here for treatment and we have already paid the first installment and will definitely pay the rest. How can you claim that we are not paying and trying to get a free treatment? How can you tell us to get out of the clinic when we have all the right for treatment?"

          My mother gave me her ATM card and told me to go and get cash for payment in front of all the staff and the doctor. (Note: the doctor did not stop me to tell me that they accept cards and I need not go to the ATM to get cash for the payment. )

          So I went out and got the cash for the payment (which was her condition for treatment) and it was 1:55pm. The doctor (Dr. Shrutika) asked the ortho-dentist to leave as it was her time to go even when we were ready for payment and were present for the treatment.

          The orthodentist (Dr. Kyumi) left at 2pm and Dr. Shrutika called the security to remove us out of the clinic. Dr. Shrutika started yelling "You get out of my clinic!" and she did not reason or listen to anything we had to say. She blatantly refused the treatment without reason and humiliated my mother and me in front of all the staff and other patients with no fault of our own.

          This incident was absolutely unfair and the behaviour of the doctors (especially Dr. Shrutika) and the staff was terrible and non-cooperative. Even the staff did not meddle to calm down the doctor for being so hyper without reason nor did they inform us about the doctor's name when we asked them. The receptionist and other nurses only kept staring at us while we were told to leave and said nothing. They did not inform of of anything about what to do next, about the treatment or payment and did not even provide moral support out of courtesy for the irrational outrage of the doctor.

          I strongly believe that the attitude and behavior of Dr. Shrutika who was present at My Dentist, Ghatkopar west branch on 19 September 2016 at 2pm, is completely unacceptable. I, do not want a doctor like her working at this or any other branch of My dentist because she is absolutely incompetent in dealing with patients, displays emotional outrage on the patient, refuses treatment to the patient, humiliates and asks for forceful dismissal of the patients. She humiliated my mother and me and treated us with utter indignity. She has deeply hurt my confidence in My Dentist itself and I felt like never wanting to come to My dentist for any further treatment.

          I want her removed from My dentist team, to maintain the standards of service this company claims and a formal apology from her, for her offensive behaviour to create a displeasing scenario at the clinic and public humiliation.

            As if the dentist profession has become more like marketing job... people from "My dentist" have started calling their data base...and randomly asking the contacts to visit their so called dentist clinic without bothering to check the medical records with them...I get a call from Dr Deepali...who was sounding more like a sales girl promoting her dental clinic with unethical behavior when I clarified my pregnancy status I get a reply that they are juss randomly calling their data... and the best part is she is unaware of the names of the contacts..they sound very unprofessional sales people for no apologies for using our contacts for marketing purposes...and unfortunately there is nothing as "Doctors" here...I hope they are qualified enough to call themselves as dentist...and not end up plucking our nose instead of the tooth...and won't be surprised if I m offered a discount on one tooth plucked free with one root canal.
            Yes very true more than treatment they do marketing job

              My mother was done with root canal which caused tooth fracture later .. now her whole tooth feel down so we consulted oral surgeon and came to know that tooth is fractured during root canal and doctor dint noticed as the roots . The case is worst and she need a tooth implant. when we asked the my dentist doctor as tooth had insurance of 5 years so can it benefit us, they denied the fact and said that because of your eating habit tooth fracture and not because of our root canal treatments .
              I feel that intern doctor as appointed here to practice and patients are kept as models . Very bad treatment .

                I have started my treatment at my dentist on 6th april 2013 for braces at a expense of rs 27000... I was assigned to dr sneha... Who started my treatment... She said that it would take 1 to 2 years for the treatment... However in june 2014... My dr was changed to dr kevin shah stating dr sneha's health issue as the reason... I was ok as i thought it was almost done... The first day dr kevin after examining me said that he doesn't know what dr sneha has done and so he started the treatment all over again (This show's that there was no proper handover of cases done)... I have made the full payment on 12th january 2015... Now after another 2 years i am being informed that dr kevin has left the job and hence dr sneha will take over again.. (There was no communication from my dentist for last 2 month so i called up to check).

                Is this some kind of a joke... I really don't understand how could they play with our appearance n emotions by just keeping on changing the doctors without thinking about the customer... R we not supposed to be informed? Or we are guinea pigs to be experimented on... We r putting our trust on them and they are just juggling us from one doctor to the other...


                I now doubt if this irresponsible doctors ever did my treatment correctly whether they are experienced enough... I have completely lost faith in my dentist and am feeling cheated after spending 4 years... I would like to have my money back.. So that i can go to some pvt dentist and get proper treatment...

                  I got root cannel done from my dentist and m quiet nt happy with it.even after the treatment I could feel the pain of a rotten teeth inside so went back to the clinic again.After showing teeth 2 the doctor they said tat the cap is high so will have to reduce the high points which actually was nt bothering me since I was happy the size. Still I reduced it.and now I can see the inside metal of my cap. I got a ceramic cap n now the metal is seen so Wats the use of paying for a ceramic cap.wen I told the doctor bout it they said tat it's normal bt y wud i pay for the ceramic cap which metal cn be seen now.my dentist I m very disappointed with such thing I m tired of goin again n again to visit the doctors and complain bt seriously I am nt at all happy with your treatment.
                  My mother got bad experience of my dentist. They first did her root canal and told her that her tooth has become short from on side so it need metal support. we went with there suggestion as did support treatment.It costed us 4000 rupees in all. later ceramic cap of 2500 they put on her tooth which fell down in a week. As the tooth was in insurance they re fitted it again. But now after 2 months here entire tooth got week and they said its you denture problem and the tooth is fractured. when we consulted a surgeon he said that during root-canal only the tooth got fractured from roots and they ignored and continued. Now they asking for more money though insurance is there. I Feel they doctors r practice interns and not well experienced in these matter . We seriously aren't happy with the treatment

                    I would like to raise a complaint against Koperkhairne my dentist clinic as well as against doctor Neha who is so irresponsibly giving answers to me and she was like she can say anything she wants if it is like that i know what i need to do against my dentist thanks a lot for this much polite response from doctor Neha .when there are mistakes from your side that you don't call to your patient if your schedules are being changed do i need to close my business for your mistakes as this happend third time that my seating shifted for Root Canal Treatment I don't know why you guys don't call your patients if doctors not available on the same day of our appointment not only this but i took appointment on Monday as per mine 2nd seating on 3rd of august for the date of 11th August for the third seating when i called to clinic for confirming that i am coming for treatment of 11th August appointment of 2:30 pm receptionist told me no sir your appointment is not there so again i told them then give me appointment for next day 12th August means today when I visited clinic again they told me doctor Varsha is not there and even appointment is not showing in our system.. You guys are so unprofessional and i would like to say one more thing is that Doctor Neha who told me all this in a way that No one is able to listen when it's your mistake for several times thanks a lot Koperkhairne my dentist .                     Hereby i would like to tell you I had emailed my dentist team for such action still haven't got appointment My dentist Koperkhairne had told me when Doctor Varsha will come we are going to inform you on Wednesday still waiting for doctor i hope you understand pain of patient.

                      I have been availing alignment service for my wife at the Malad west clinic for the past 8 months having paid a huge sum. Due to some emergency we had to change the timelines of the treatment and expedite the treatment request. Now since the last few sittings were due, the doctors started arm twisting saying, without paying the full balance amount the treatment would not be completed. Even after giving the committment that the payment would be made on dates when the treatment would be done, the doctors were behaving absolutely unprofessionally and holding us to ransom. The payments 0f 20k were made also on the dates committed in gap of 5 days back to back. As of today 10.9.13, my wifes treatment has been stopped and left incomplete saying without paying the balance amount of 5k, the treatment would not be done. The doctors are blaming each other saying, that we are employees and we cant do anything about it. The management has laid down the policies. I hope this message is picked up at by the Medical Council governing the Dentist practitioners and the organisations who are currently on the franchisee spree laying out huge networks of retail dentist operations however without any consideration for genuine customers who are paying their salaries and not availing service for free.
