I had already submitted claim re-embursement paper with vidal health tpa on 6.11.2019.
On 8.11.2019 i received call from this toll free number [protected]. They had certain query & i explained them in brief manner.
On 12.11.2019 i made inquiry with vidal heath tpa toll free number [protected] relating to my claim status. But customer care representative ask me to send acknowledgement copy of claim paper submission with vidal health tpa, so same is enclosed by me.
Then on 25.11.2019 i am completely shocked as while talking with your vidal health tpa representative, he tells me that system not shows paper received by vidal health tpa.
Your representative also written my complaint & give me complaint number 17244096.
Today on 27.11.2019 i personally visit your vidal health tpa chakala branch to discuss this issue & really disappointed as my claim is not consider by you people arguing that patient is hospitalised on 25.09.2019 & policy taken on 30.09.2019.
But this is completely not acceptable in any means.
I had talk several times on 30.09.2019 at jio toll free number[protected] before taking this policy to understand policy wording & terms & condition of policy in between 4 to 6 pm from my mobile number [protected]. Here are the conversation details
Question 1 - i want to take policy for my father in law jitendra. K. Shah who is cancer patient & suffering from multiple diseases & right now admitted in kokilaben dhirubhai ambani hospital from 25.09.2019 so can i take this policy for him??
Answer (Jio customer care representative) - yes u can, in our group mediclaim scheme all previous disease are covered including cancer from day one so dont worry go ahead.
Question 2 - madam we are common people so really confused because if we paid premium & later in case if you reject claim arguing that patient are already admitted in hospital before taking policy so then what can we do???
Answer - sir dont panic & start policy online as in our policy 2 lakh is deductible amount so first 2 lakh u have to borne or your previous mediclaim company has to borne once policy start & then u get full sum assured amount.
Question 3 - means suppose we take this policy on 30.09.2019 & if total hospital expenses incurred 7 lakh so after deduction of 2 lakh we get balance 5 lakh amount. Correct??
Answer - yes you are right here all pre-existing diseases covered from day one
Question 4 - madam i am still confused so please talk with your senior & let me inform whether i can take this policy for my father in law jitendra. K. Shah or not??? As he is in hospital from 25.09.2019 suffering from multiple diseases including cancer???
Answer (Jio representative) - please make your call in hold for some time & then after some time jio customer care representative tells me to go ahead & start this policy as i discuss this matter with our senior & he assured that u can take this policy. So dont panic & start it immediately.
Then after sometime as common man i am confused so again i make call at this jio toll free number & raised my query as under
Madam before some time i make call at your toll free number regarding health insurance policy & then discuss again all that matter with jio representative regarding taking policy for my father in law shri jitendra. K. Shah who is suffering from cancer.
Madam listening my queries & then ask me sir dont worry & go ahead & take this policy online. Then i tells ' madam aap please aap k senior se meri baat karvayenge' then after few minutes again i discuss full matter with jio customer care senior officer & after his consent only i take this jio mediclaim policy.
We are very genuine people & dont want single rupee unethically so at time of taking policy online i want to mention all disease of my father in law shri jitendra. K. Shah but no such questions are ask during online purchase of this health insurance policy.
Now i know that each & every calls are recorded so please check my conversation with jio representative on 30.09.2019 between 4 pm to 6 pm, number i had called was [protected] & settle my genuine claim without further delay.
Otherwise i have no option left & take some serious action against vidal health tpa & united india insurance co. Ltd for cheating inocent people.
Dont underestimate the power of common people.

how to download shravak arogyam certificate of insurance

My wife renewed the shravak arogyam mediclaim polity at 27 march 2018. Her jac id is : [protected]. But after renewal we didn't receive any hard copy of policy document and id card of insured members. Please note that her jio-jac web transaction id is r18k16847rn270318t085554. Its your responsibility to provide all information on the jio website so that people easily get information. Also i found that you have charged jac membership renewal fees twice 1) transaction id w[protected] for amount rs. 500.00. And easebuzz (Payment gateway) reference id is tty132shqx
2) at time of policy renewal you again charged jac membership fees (Fy[protected] rs in that. Please refund extra 500 rs taken. Jio-jac web transaction id is r18k16847rn270318t085554

Respected Sir/Madam,
I refer to the trailing mail and also to my earlier mail dated 4th April, 2017 and had informed you all that despite resolving all the querries you have closed my file on the very same ground of non submission of the documents. I have time and again requesting you all to immediately look into my matter and open my file which has been wrongfully closed by you without looking into the documents which was timely submitted by me and same is reflected with your own records, the Screen Shot of the particulars of submissions is enclosed herewith for your information which clearly shows the receipt of the required documents by you. Since I have already forwarded you the Letter from the treating Doctor and have further telepathically informed your Ms. Yogita and Ms. Kulkarni on telephone No.[protected] who has confirmed the receipt of the required letter from the Doctor on 3rd March, 2017. Further again to your same querry for the same document, I have personally visited to your Office at Sunrise Park, Thane Branch at Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane and handed over the Original letter issued by the Treating Doctor with his signature, stamp and Seal as per your querry on 25th March, 2017. Your Office at that point of time acknowledged the receipt of the said Original Letter and same has been forwarded you in the said trailing mail. Despite having submitted all the documents and clearing all the queries, you have closed my file on the same ground. I was also informed by your representative that my matter has been forwarded to the Head Office on 4th April, 2017, but however your representative has not marked CC copy of the same to me. Since then I am repeatedly chasing and following your representatives for my claim and to resolve the issue at the earliest, however every time I am told that the matter is pending with the grievance department of the head office. Please note that you have repudiated and closed my file without verifying the documents, if your office would have verified all my documents properly than you would have realised that all the documents have been provided to you as per your querry and nothing remains outstanding from my end. I therefore once again request you to immediately resolve my claim issue immediately failing which I shall be constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceeding before appropriate authority at entirely at your risk. Hope you will consider the same and expedite my claim immediately.

They collect extra premium or regular policy holder. But policy start from 30-03-2017

I paid my 3rd year regular premium on[protected]. Before due date of[protected]. But policy was not started up to[protected]. I have received sma from jio ao many time during this period. That they try to tie up with different insurance company. But jio failed. To do this process. But after finally they tie up with star company. And jio send sms for extra premium for start this policy. With some terms and conditions. But they can't information about which period and starting date of insurance. They try to collect the maximum extra premium as well as they pass the time from 07th march to 31st march. After march insurance company send us sms that your policy starting date is[protected]. Now my question is that how can i file my february medical claim. And i am old customer since 2013 or 2014 and i paid my all the premium timely. Really jio's administrator and managing director are totally hopeless. Reach and egoistic they no need money or mediclaim. They hav direct contact with insurance company. So they do theirs work directly. I am poor people as well as. We leave far from mumbai. They also collect rs. 300 for membership fees force fully for pay extra premium. Now what can i do for my claim. Or refund premium

I request you to solve the issue on priority or provide me refund / actual amount paid. What to say and what to write.. Horrible and frustrating experience I am having with JIO. I understand that being Jain, I should support such nobel cause but the way all things has been taken care that is absolutely (No words to describe) from customers point of view.
I might have called more than 1000 times of JIO's number to resolve my payment related issues but you will shock to know that no one responded to this... Then finally...

Jio Charged premium for phase-1 renewal 2016. And had not renew policy till today. If there is some issue with insurance co. .it is their personal matter .itis case ofFraud with customers. They don't answered on phone. My family member is under treatment . I paid all bills to hospital. Now i m unable to continue the treatment because treatment is so costly. And Jio had not renew the policy .it

Its more than 2 months and no policy documents. SHRAVAK AROGYAM INSURANCE SCHEME // JIOJAC had sent message they are in discussion with Insurance company but nothing more than that. Seems a big fraud and the reson for why not to buy this policy again

These ppl are saying the poliy has not started since 6 months after paying the premium.
Neither we are getting refund nor we have medicplaim policy under which weare covered.
They are eating money as if its there baap dada ka income.
We need to see if we can file legal case against them.

I had applied for policy in phase 3 but policy was not enrolled till march 2016.
In march 2016, jio team asked me to seek refund and i sent duly filled and complete documents for processing refund on 30th march 2016 but till date refund is not processed and have written almost 50 mails but no response and always informed that refund is processed but till date amount not recredited back to my account.
Pathetic is the word i would use for this company

Complaint marked as Resolved I got refund into my account today however instead of Rs 17257.60 paid by me, amount refund was Rs 17060/- but atleast major part received which seemed difficult from such unorganized company.
Thanks to a person who helped getting the same by following up.

Basis no response and pending refund since 9 months, would suggest public not to go for the same except if the company improves their response quality

Hi,
I had paid premium for my uncle with Shravak Arogyam Mediclaim - JIO
but later they said they cannot give individual policy to him this year because of his age and cannot club the same in family policy as he was not eligible for that.
I mailed for refund on 18th DEc'15 but till today there is no revert from them they are just revering ...will get back..its 3months and no revert.
no single calls are be been answered by them.

Raise in premium for phase 1 policy

Last Year Mediclaim policy for Jains was offered at INR 7, 200 for Family floater of 5 Lacs and mass auidence was enrolled into it mentioning that it is subsidized and policy is for Jains .
Since Now Mass Audience has registered they have commercialized it as profit making agency and on a very short notice you have increased the premium for renewals more than double. Initially it was told that this policy is to help Jains, however now it looks like a commercial service and now the premium has change from INR 7, 800/- to INR 16, 985 with no Justification for change and policy term has also been revised.
Even policies from private and government companies have defined their cap limit...however in Jain policy it is like initially it was offered on mouth watering premium and later it has shoot up to make a profitable business...and that too this is not a tax saving instrument. They need to review the revised premium rate.
Many Jain families have enrolled which are on poverty line assuming that they live healthier life and now since you have raised the premium how will they accommodate the premium charges? If they were not able to sustain the rate limits you should have initially thought on this. A raise by 1k to 2K can be justified however in your case the raise is more than double which is not acceptable. Please review as we are feeling cheated and many families will not able to continue to the policy.

It is just looting the jain communities by increasing the premium. If the claim ratio is increase or much higher,
it can be justified with the total collection of premium received through this policy and paid during the year.

We get much better policy with all nationalized banks. At very reasonable rates..

I am fully agreed with Mr. Mehta. I have noted the same perception. How you have double the renewal amount. I dont understand why ?.
I want to add one more point is as this is my renewal year & i have taken policy in 1st Phase then why i have to pay same premium as of of other phases. Why there is no benefit given.

Last year when I purchased the mediclaim it was mainly because of my Mom who was suffering from cancer and claim covered all pre-exisiting disease.
This year with increase in the premium they have have put a cap on Cancer treatment of 50% which is even for disturbing. Also regarding the payment of the renewal time period is so short. I usually get my salary on 31st and I dont have enough money now to renew the policy.
I hope they take some action against two things: Premium Amount and Co-payment terms of Cancer treatment.

Absolutely correct. Increasing of premium to double is not justify at all. Moreover there is poor service from JIO Team. I am trying to be in touch with Jio Help Line for Phase-1 since last two days,[protected] as given on their website, but no one is picking up the phone. I have tried not less than 100 times. Just ringing.
Moreover, why can't we direct payment to Insurance company for renewal? Why it is required to routed through JIO Account? Morever there is no clarity how to add members during renewal. Everything is mess and for this mess JIO is telling us to pay double premium.
We need to file RTI to get more details on transaction between JIO and Insurance company. Transperency is missing too.

I think this is a scam. I am sure hundreds of people will not renew the insurance this year and that is what JIO wanted. They have looted 7100 from thousands of people last year. Besides, there is no clarity or even dedicated helpline / toll free number to guide on claim procedure etc. I did not even get a copy of my policy which i did last year, i just have a policy number.

I got this message yesterday if I don't want to change my policy from individual to 5 or 10 lac flottwr as the primium for the flottwr is to high . This is a cheating from jain samaj when giving the policy they didn't gave such information to us

U r absolutely right. 1st they gave us and shown that it is really very useful to us then they increse premium suddenly. So we have only choice to give up from these policy and we forgot our first premium which is paid earlier. And now premium is very high. So it is not for jain community's help but it is one type of business. Please I request to all that plz calculate the total. If there is 200000 members (individual + family floater)
Average previous premium is 4500 then

Approx rs are there and I think no claim is more than this overall. So how can they increase premium this much.

It is truly outrageous to learn that I must convert my INDIVIDUAL policy to FAMILY FLOATER. I already have a FAMILY FLOATER policy. So, I must let go my individual policy and forego the premium I paid for it for the first year. Though I enjoyed the cover for first year, the intent to go for the policy was long term which is not served. Therefore, the company REFUND the PREMIUM we paid for individual policy if we are not allowed to continue it.
I got the SMS to make these decisions on the same day (28th Oct) not leaving any room to deliberate. How can they inform at the last hour and make such a drastic change?

This time it is 3305.00
And now I have to join for group policy and premium is for 5 lacks is Rs.16985.00???

If for 2 lac premium is 3305 then for 5 lav policy it is 16900 something. How is this possible so wast difference. If claim ratio is high this time then they increased premium but if next year claim ratio will be low then they will reduce the premium...? I was having a Mediclaim for My mother & Father and another for Me, My Wife and 2 Child. Total premium was 3100+3400. After seeing the JIO Arogyam I have discontinued both the medi-claims and get the Family Floater for 5 Lac at 7200 in place of 6500. After one year they want renewal for Rs.16800 how can I pay this is huge amount for me and no one will provide me medi-claim for my Mother_Father both are above 60 years. It means I can not get the mediclaim policy for whom I need it. Shame on the group they are cheating with the name of Maharaj Saheb and Jain Comunity. They actually dont know the JAIN words meaning for the world. Jain word itself is the name of faith/trust/sacrifices/Jio aur jine do. Its completely unacceptable at all.

Even i agree that paying this much premium is actually difficult and that to jio jaisa organisation AND moreover there is no feedback and no attending of call and even when we want to search there is no proper reply hope jiyo will see the messages and try solving it .

This is a clear case of cheating by JIO. I think executives of JIO might be making money out of these transactions. Pujya Gurudev should take interest and direct the concern person not make personal profit out of social services. Every body made payments on words of pujya Gurudev and now all o[censored]s feel cheated by the JIO. We should file case in consumer form against concern persons of JIO for cheating the public in general. How some one force us to take policy for family if we have crossed age of 40 years. It is the choice of person taking insurance. You can not force them for taking another policy. I do not have my wife alive and how I can take policy of family? Mr. Mehta is requested to take strong actions against this type (420) persons. Pujya Gurudev also requested take immediate steps otherwise all jains will loose confidence in Jainism.

I have paid Online Premium on 08/12/2015 for New Mediclaim Policy from JIO ( Shravak Arogyam Phase-III). Amount got debited from my Bank Account, but on JIO Web site there was message “ There was some issue with your payment. Please try again after Some time.” I am Continuously trying to contact Helpline / Customer care of JIO, but there is no Response from them.

This is the best policy ever in medical insurance history. even after considering the increased premium it is still very much competitive compared with other companies. I know a lot of people who have availed the benefit of this policy. Yes I agree regarding customer calls there is no response in the number given or permanently engaged. But once you receive the ID the TPA administration is excellent. Degrading the entire effort is unethical.
While calling on their contact no's, no response from many days. also dropped the mail but no response. Really frustrated from their kind of service.
Whatever the negative comments, this is the best policy in my experience and the fastest settlement . Ultimately the insurance company has also to think about there viability. This is not a government subsidized scheme or any philanthropist funded scheme. Considering the benefits no other scheme matches these benefits and inclusions. Increase in premium is justified in all angles.

It is better to address the complaints with good amount of information on website itself,

I too have taken a 5 lac floater. I feel cheatedby this sudden increase to Rs. 17000 from approx Rs. 8000. I had taken this policy because they were providing low premium rates compared to the prevailing premium in market for similar policies to help Jain community members.
Their customer support do not know the reason why they have suddenly increased the premium by such a huge amount without any prior communication in the 2nd year itself. And what is the guarantee that they will not increase this premium arbitrarily in the forthcoming years.
I am TRAPPED in this policy. My previous policy before I took JIO has already elapsed so I have no other option left with me except to fill premium which I find very expensive. It is a huge increase for a middle class person like me.

Mediclaim policy framed by JIO in colloboration with private insurance company was very good. Now JIO wants to earn money by increasing premium of policy more than double for second year for Phase-II. How can you justify that JIO is doing good service for jain people. Maharajsaheb can not permit you to loot the Jain community by this way. For better service to poor & economically backward Jain family, renounce the greed of money & frame the insurance policy with reasonable premium.

I had enrolled for JIO Phase 2 on 30-Mar-15. My father underwent a cataract and to claim for which I had all the relevant claim information sent to Paramount. However, that's when the bad experience kicked in. Paramount did not respond to any claims even after several escalations to Mr. Vardhaman in Paramount who is in charge of handling JIO claims at Mumbai. I further escalated to IFFCO TOKYO who promised to get back but never did. Even their Grievance redressal officer has not acknowledged my mails, leave alone acting on it. Looks like people have joined hands in this scam.
I am going to complain to IRDA and further see possibility of an RTI to know what is the relation between JIO and insurance companies.

My PHS ID NO. is 30341734. My claim of CCN NO. 290840 & CCN NO. 2910016 are not yet settled. . I had already sent the deficiencies asked by paramounttpa in this regard by speed post. As per the talk held with the customer care on this issue, I had send the scanned copy of speed post by which I has sent all the required documents. I has duly send all the documents marked by you as "deficiency" in the two claims on 24th Sep 2015 by speed post which was received at your end on 28th sep 2015.[ As per the track record of India Post] Inspite of this, till today no action has been taken on the pending issues of both the claims. Every time i contact with customer care, they gives me fresh number with new name & tells me that this is the person who can solve your problem. But all the times the numbers keep ringing on & on & on & no one answers it. I requested many times to the customer care of Paramounttpa to settle my claim as early as possible. SO THAT WE CAN CONTINUE FAITH IN THE COMPANY.

After reading so many bad reviews, I have made my mind not to go for Shravak Arogyam Policy. First serve ur existing policy holders and resolve their issues then I can think of buying ur Policy.

I request all jains to get same policy from OPEN market with LESSER premium for Preexisting diseases. If you get any policy for less premium for given sum assured for PREEXISTING diseases then you are KING..

well i can say with full conviction that the premium raised by JIO-AROGYAM is not justified, is it not a fairway robbery that initially to trap JAINS they kept premium low, so maximum people could enrol into the Policy, within first year the premium was increased by more then 100%, which is unviable, as such all jains are not wealthy to shell out such enormous hike, there are people who come from poorest of poor strata, who make a living by compromising in each possible way they can !!! What about their grievances, since affordable healthcare is a distant dream in a country like India.
