i want to get confirmation whether any person working there or it a scam for taking money

please help me out i do not want to pay money to frauds....

I got an sms from british embassy diplomat name Mike Smith i want to know whether it is fake person to get my money
some days before there was job offer from one 5 star hotel name silver mark hotel(london) i apply to it by filling their application form
then after one day i got sms from this person stated below

My name is diplomat mike smith working in brtish embasy in mumbai i received ur document from sliver...
