I have been following up for deferral since January 2022 .

I have been affected by Carona last year September (when it was identified). I am not even getting my student buddy details for guidance for my Thesis from past 3 months. Every time I hear new rules from Upgrad but nothing will be on paper.

I don't know which college tells even hospitalized with caron one have to attend and complete course even offices wont do that .

Upgrad is just an Money extortion factory ..

I have never called "Upgrad" for my visa consultancy. They got my number from somewhere else. Even after being in a conversation, I never called them because they force a lot to their students to go with the university, they have tie-ups. That was actually very annoying.
But the story starts when one of their agents called me for the first time and start abusing me as I rejected their offer to get the admission in "Clark university".

Upgrad should start hiring the fish market workers instead of these ridiculous agents. They must have better sense to communicate than this (Naahin Wazir or Nihaal) guy.

I have deferred the course due to the work pressure. Its been more than a year. They are not providing the deferral course. I have spoke to them several times. But still I don't see it is going to work. After a year they are asking for letter from manger for having the work pressure.
I see this institution simply making money without any value for the course. I strongly recommend that this is utter bogus educational institution. It should not be granted any further license to train the people.
No study material is given so far. Every thing is in their website. which will be not accessible after 3 years. The course costs 2.75 lakhs. Is it justifiable?

I enrolled myself with upgrad for Digital Marketing course which had started on 6 Feb 2022 But due to some financial issues I wont be able to continue with my course. I requested them to cancel my course and loan application but they told me I can't cancel loan application .My Course started on 6 Feb and I cancelled it on 17 Feb 2022, not attended a MICA lecture .Inspite of keeping my Block amount Rs15000 they are not ready to cancel my course and loan application from Early salary. Request you to help me out. They don't understand my situation from where I will pay my loan amount in this covid period . Please help me out.

Hi, I had enrolled fro a clark university program from upgrad which started on December 31st, and in the first week of January I had some things at my family due to covid related issues due to which I had to cancel my plan of studying further, when I requested to not debit my EMI, the Upgrad says there isn't any policy of cancelling. The question at that time was why wasn't there a refund policy with upgrad if it's a recognised institution ? I urged and called up many times to upgrad to cancel my education with them but they are asking to either continue next time or take the course. I had then approached zestmoney but they are also not cancelling my EMI, and now I'm in a situation where I'm neither able to go to the course nor able to pay the EMI due to financial support which I have to give to my family. I would urge zestmoney to cancel my EMI.

The course was not upto the mark and since I am a working professional, I am unable to cope up with the course.
When they requested me to take the course they assured me that I would have a personal coach who would help me out, there was nothing as such.
I have stopped the learning which is too fast paced and want a refund

Fake promises given while taking admission loan partner provided consumer loan instead of education loan . Now not able to take benefits educational loan tax benefits . Corporate rejclected two time saying interest certificate required and Zest Money not providing it saying its not an educational loan.

I canceled MS in data science course with UpGrad but the website says the refund will take 30 days only if I am eligible. This wasn't conveyed to me at the time of paying the deposit for blocking a seat. They force you to pay a deposit of 25, 000. I have paid 25, 000 and I want my hard earned money back as early as possible because I don't believe them. I have submitted the refund request before course commencement.

I am enrolled Blockchain developer, but service is very poor, i asked for refund they are not responding, they hurried to block ur seat, admission will increase and misguided me. They given loan from there partner Zest Money, I want refund please help me.

This is ashutosh dasmohapatra ..i have enrolled in a course ..earlier that is mba in healthcare management ..and i was told that ..if within 7 days i cancel my course tahn i will be given tha enroll amount back ( rs 5000 )but 2 months gone ..but i did not get anything ...tried to contact many persons from ur team ...no one .. good ve me the correct answer ..talked to pankaj from ur team ..he ..assured me that i will get my money back ..when the course admission for 21-22 is over on dec3 but its above 1 month i did not get anything ..i have contacted ur student support team ..but nothing from them...they are telling to contact to the admission team ..and some one called me. .from upgard and forcing me to join a bootcamp course ..which is not of my type ...and tell me that we would not return the money ..u have to join the course compulsory ...this is very hectic
..their behaviour are very bad ...i think we should file a case against this online fraud company

Initially when I did look into the website, your sales team first of all bombarded me with calls and everything. Promised me that on the joining fee of 15, 000 rs, I will get 5k back which will be then a block fee of 10k. When I did mention that I have a financial issue, he was like oh we'll give 5k back to you for sure, don't worry and all.

It's been months literally and I have been asking countless times. Now I get no response from you, what happened to the people who wanted me to get enrolled? Once I have enrolled, where's the care now?

They asked me to give 15000 immediatly to bolck seat they creat the situation where you will be in rush, then after twodays they will creat the same rush for 250000. At that time also I was fool enough to trust them, then suddenly due to some financial crises I have to step back, I thanks to God for this Otherwise now I have to write email for 250000 refund, Now when I am asking for 15000 return, they are takinng the 15000 for nothing, for no service they are taking 15000 not giving it vack saying we sent you a email as terms and condition we received so nany emails daily, I didn't signed any doc for any of the process.

I had enrolled in a course offered by Upgrad by paying a block amount of Rs 25, 000 on 29th of October. By 4th of November I had applied for a refund through my counsellor, I was told that the refund request has been set up and that I'll be receiving my refund within 15 days. Later on I was called by the Upgrad team and was told I'll be charged Rs 10, 000 since Im getting a refund and that ill only receive Rs 15, 000. I was told that I had...

UpGrad has done fraud with me. They have taken 2, 25, 000 rupees from me in Feb21 but still not providing me services as they promised to me.
Their people didn't responding my calls and they are not responding my emails also.

I need my money back.

I raised a admission cancellation request with Upgrad for a 18 month course which consists PG diploma and MS Degree for which I started from Feb 2021. I opted for a loan provided by Upgrad through Liquilons.

Due to sudden financial crisis in this time of Pandemic and that too because my father got infected from corona.
I am finding it hard to pay the EMI's of 4.5 L which is 22K for which I intimated and requested Upgrad...

One of my colleague suggested Upgrad for online MBA. And they contacted me and asked me to pay 25000. I said I cant afford and they asked me to pay 10000. And they didnt tell anything about not giving refund. Not even a word if they warned about not giving refund I wouldn't have paid. But they rushed me and I paid 10000. Later because of loan burden I didnt take any admission and now I asked for refund. When I am asking refund initially they said the 10000 was paid to college and later they said this 10000 can be send to other courses if I like to join. I said I cant join any other and asked for a refund. They are not replying properly. i persuaded them but still no reply about refund. They are not even fearing about consumer forum. Please provide me the support and please help me in getting back my 10000.

Every lead might not be a possibile conversion. Sales agents might need to understand and should stop being annoying and rude. Diplomatically when the consumer/lead rejects an offer, sales executive should respect the lead.

But, Upgrad's sales executive who called me, unsure may be to complete his target, kept asking annoying questions despite my rejection and behaved rude stating am wasting his time.

From a consumer stand, before purchasing a product I might enquire at few other vendors to understand the value of it.

I’ve complained earlier with all the details regarding this but haven’t received any resolution. So thing is I was misguided about loan process by them. And now emi is getting started and I don’t have money to pay. So help me getting refund from upgrad the whole course fee which they got from Loan provider zest money. So I can pay them back.

So few days back I was browsing upgrad. So I got a call from their representative regarding course. So I told my financial condition isn’t good I won’t be able to do that course. So he offered me scholarships and other offers saying you have to pay 10 thousand rupees block amount if I don’t wanna do course later that’s ok.So I arranged that and gave them. Later on I felt my condition isn’t good also some family problem is going on. I decided to cancel. They then said according to their policy my 10K won’t be refunded. I was sad and was thinking what can I do now.

Then their agent said he can help me. He will transfer me to a cheaper course. Like Liverpool Business School MBA they offer has two parts including IMT Ghaziabad PG program. So I’ll be transferred to IMT Ghaziabad program.

But I told him my financial condition is very bad. So he said at that time like we’ll take admission for now and we can defer this course for 3 months and then again defer. He said I can defer and move my course start date till the time I’m able to pay them. So I thought this is better than wasting 10 thousand rupees I submitted that too I rented from someone.

So he said but do so we first have to pay course fee and don’t we worry we’ll take loan. And then he told me that loan too will be get deferred or will start when I’ll start course that means If I would defer it to next year so loan emi will start at that time. That’s what he told.
And also during this phase he’ll use my referral code on the leads he generates and will give me cashback so by the time I’ll be having money to pay emis too.

So once all was done I get message from loan provider that my emi is due for next month November 5. So they totally misguided me. I don’t have any money to pay emis.

Please help me get refund from them. Either Upgrad pay money back to their loan partner Zest Money. Or refund that whole amount in my account so I can close this loan with Zest Money.

Please help me! My financial condition is worse. This wasn’t supposed to be happening like this way. I was totally misguided by false promises and schemes.

I am taking a course on Product Management and initially, the marketing team convinced me to opt for specialization after the course.

I am towards the end of the course (without specialization). I do not wish to pursue specialization and wish to get a refund for the same. However, when connected with upgrad they mentioned they cannot refund an amount that has been paid.

As I don't wish to avail the services. I would want a refund for the same. Can you please help me out here.

Dear consumer helpline I would like to reach this complaint for one online education program that I enrolled for and after completing the program for one year I was stopped from progressing further stating that I did not complete the module is given to me 8 months ago and no notification was given to me 8 months ago to complete the module and I was allowed to progress till now iPad 2 full fees of the program 3.6 lakh rupees by taking education...

But due to some health issue. i wont be able to continue with my course. i requested them a lot but as instructed by them either i have to continue my course after a month or so. either they will charge my loan amount. but they will not cancel my loan amount as they dont have policy or so. Hi, i have been observing the Upgrad services post registering the service, they wont understand ur issue, they will convince you to und them and when i have chose upgrad the student counselor said he will be helpfull at any time and for any issues but i cant reach him because he wont lift the calls normally and student mentors too however when i made complaints they wont revert back immediately for the resolutions, they will take there time...

To study course MBA Rs10000 was paid through Google pay . Loan request was rejected aftr this.Course fee was said to be paid at oneshot wich was not possible.Now it's been said there is no refund of 10000 acording to offer letter.When iam not joining for the course y can't it be refunded.Wat sort of refund policy is this.

I have enrolled for imt-Lbs MBA course recently where in all my finance work was done. The eligibility for the course was 50%in graduation but I have only 40%. I was informed wrongly from my university I wasnt aware of my graduation percentage. I just calculated my marks during induction day when they told the eligibility was 50% that is on 1st of May.And on 2nd I have raised the issue with my education counselor.

Now they are working on it and has
suggested me to enroll in Bhimtech. Already 1 emi has been debited from my account and the next will debit in 3 days. I have already waited for a month still response is very late.
