Refund on application amount

Sir,
I am was looking for a Doctorate course and UpGrad approached me on 28 March stating that they have a good course being offered by the Swiss School of Business Management (SSBM) and the degree would be offered by the University of Zagreb. They forced me to make the payment on Sunday evening as the application last date was 31 March and seats were filling quickly. They did not let me do the reference check with the school too...

I had opted for post graduation course during the start of covid times.They clearly duped me with the fee structure amount.Whenever I ask them for refund they just intend to pass in the next batch.Student mentors will go any further to convince you to pay the money.Upgrad doesn't bother if you are dying with certain debts but will no show no signs of humanity.I would never suggest anyone to pay a huge amount to Upgrad because they will just send alternate emails and zero communication from their end.

    I have joined bimtech mba courses in January by paying 15, 000 my loan didn't get approved. They removed be in Feb 1st week and didn't provided my refund of 15, 000 I didn't get any benefits through upgrad simply they have taken money and not refunded to me. Please help me sir they cheated me.

      I was enrolled for PG Diploma +Masters in Data Science course. In September 2020 my PGD got finished. Then the Masters was about to start.
      But due to my father's spine injury, I took the deferral for Masters September Batch to December batch. At that time my Student mentor was Swapnamita. I informed her all about my situation and then she told me to send the required Medical Certificates.
      I sent all of it and she said that your deferral request is accepted and you are deferred to December Batch.

      Then the December Batch started, In my learn.upgrad.com dashboard I can also see the December batch details. So I was also satisfied that my deferral is approved.

      Then when the time came for getting the credentials from LJMU. I got no emails from LJMU. Then I contacted Sneha (Student mentor of December batch) She told that because of Swapnamita Mistake the details were not passed on to her. And now she is telling me to get deferred to March Batch or any next batch.

      I told her that I am not in the mood of taking another deferral. I want a a full refund of my course fees. It is that simple because you have no right to force me to another month deferral. She is forcing me to take the deferral. What kind of behavior is this? She even asked for the reasons why you can't go to the march batch? Who is she to ask that? Though I told her everything, all my reasons because of which I cannot proceed with the deferral anymore. Then She alleged "ARE YOU TAKING THIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A REFUND "

      Seriously??

      I felt so humiliated at that time.
      What kind of behavior is this? I am a middle-class student who just got a JOB as an intern with my own hard work(not from upgrad career) And they are offering me the big project, I had planned everything according to that then how can I accept the deferral and move on to some another month.
      I also dropped a mail-in Student Support and even their Supervisors but
      they told me to go for deferral to another month.

      How fair is that?
      They are just saying this is because of Swapnamita and forcing me to take deferral.
      If the fault is from Upgrad's End then why I am going to suffer.
      They have given money to LJMU institution thats why they are forcing me for deferral and dont want to bear the loss themselves.

      This is not fair in any means
      I dont want to take deferral I want my money back.

        Upgrad Charged Me 3 Lac Rs For PG Diploma In Data science From IIITB But Eventually, They Fail To Deliver What Was Promised To Me I Have Made Several Emails And Calls Spent 3 Months Contacting Them They Fail To Get Back M Refund Instead Asked Me To Get Deferral By Paying An Extra Amount Of 28k Which I Was Not Ready To Jump Into When I Asked For My Refund No One From The Team Responded To Me Till Date

          Hello Sir/ Mam,

          My name is Anshuman Singh. I applied for a job in Upgrad Kolkata in March. Those guys asked me to enroll in any of the programs then only I can get the Job. And I was also told that there is no need to worry as they will cancel the course before my 1st emi date. Even they paid my down payment for the course. But after a few days they started ignoring my calls and messages. They didn't give any job nor did they cancel my EMIs. I also spoke to Mr Shubham Roy Chaudhury (Manager in UpGrad Kolkata) regarding the same but no help. I am just paying my Emis without any learning. I am forced to write this mail. I shared my problems with my student mentor but she also didn't help. I am facing a lot of financial problem in this scenario because of that loan. I am not able to afford it. I am going into depression day by day. They are not refunding my money nor they are cancelling the loan. Please help

            I was contacted by a representative on may 20th after i put in an enquiry. The sales representative (Dharma teja) was a very pushy and literally forced me to apply for the course commencing in 11 days in spite of me telling him that i do not have sufficient funds at this point in time. He assured me that i will get financial assistance by their lending partner since they have a lot of tieups. He assured me that i will get the necessary help and cooperation as my cibil score is impeccable and the salary i draw was good. On this assurance i made a payment of 15, 800 as a booking amount. Turns out that their lending partners have a very stupid and frivolous documentation process after which my loan application was rejected without any substantial reasoning nor cooperation at all. Soon after my mother fell ill and i had to relocate. I had to resign from my job.
            The companies cancellation policy says if the student cancels it then there will be a deduction of rs.10, 000 and the balance rs.5800 would be refunded but in this case i was not the one who cancelled my application it was because of the loan application getting rejected and there was no exception made at all to help me out soon after with great difficulty i managed procuring the documents in the situation of the lockdown still my application was not considered at all and it has been over two months now i am fighting with upgrad their customer service is very laid back and slow. Their md has outright said he cannot help me. I believe i am stuck in the fineprint of the company. I think they should consider the financial capabilities of the students before taking a booking amount and incase there is a problem refund the amount upfront to avoid loss to any credible student.

            I want my 15800 back or atleast 10000 back.

              I registered to data science course on january 17. I refer to one person on january 27 for this program. As part of the referral scheme, i was supposed to receive the amount of rs. 10000. But i have not received it. They sent me a mail a few months back but i accidentally forgot to check the mail. Now when i send the details to them they say i have missed the deadline.

                not giving refund

                Mr. Sagar from upgrad is a big fraud. He told he will initiate refund before course commences. I have sent multiple mails to cancel my enrollment but he convinced me to join for next batch in march 2018. But now in january starting itself they are saying they cannot refund. He clearly said he will refund before february 2018 if want to withdraw.

                Mr sagar is a cheater. He told he will initiate refund but delayed by 2 months.....
