BSNL Landline telephone connection — Land line phone is dead

With due respect i AVIPSIT RATH want to tell you that its my 2nd complain to you. I have given you a complain earlier but i didn't get any reply from them.
The complain is that the call center i:e 1500 is giving false information FREQUENTLY for which we have suffered a loss around Rs.250.
I have the necessary & sufficient proofs in this regard which i will tell you in secreat.

My land line Telephone is dead for 2 months and I've taken broadband connection. but after complain every BSNL department and to officer; my problem is till there standing. How can i believe on "Customer Care" word for Brand Co. BSNL.

Land line — DEAD from last 18 days

We have 5 Reliance land line phones which are Dead from last 18 days. We have logged the complaint many a times but they are giving assurance that it will be resolved in 48 hours but nothing is happening. We are loosing our business.

Looking for resolution of compliant asap.

My new SIM (activated on 23rd May 2009) card could not be able to received STD calls. Callers are receiving message tune as "This number is Invalid".

Please replace the SIM card with a Good one.

BSNL Telephone — BSNL Telephone Dead for last 14 Days

I am a BSNL costumer. Please note that my Telephone is dead since 26th April’09. I have lodged complaint several times (Docket No. D8079 dated 27.4.09). Fourteen days have passed but my phone line is dead. I have been also contacting different Telephone Offices for the last 1 week in my location for rectification of my telephone, but all in vain. My telephone connection is still dead for the last 14 days.

Kindly note that my telephone has been very frequently Out of Order in the last six months. Each month, the connection is dead at a frequency of 2-3 times in a month. The frequency of my telephone line disorders since last 6 months are listed below:

I am a retired Professor and need regular consultation with my Physician. Since the phone is dead it is very difficult for me to contact him whenever I need. I am facing lots of problem due to the non-functioning of my phone each month. I am sick and tired of lodging my Telephone Complaint everyday and calling up Telephone Offices for rectification of my Telephone line.
Why is my telephone line so frequently Out of Order each month? Why my telephone connection has not been rectified after lodging complaint 13 days ago.
BSNL is a big and reputed organization in Telecom area but the service is very very poor. This poor service of BSNL is forcing me to surrender my telephone connection because each month I am paying the monthly rentals and all the bills on time but in return I am being provided this poor service by BSNL.

Request you to kindly help me at the earliest.

BSNL Land line Phone — Dead Telephone

We have a land line connection at Shyam Nagar Jaipur with No. 2290371. Most of the time it is out of service. Every time even after lodging complaint at 198 there is no response. We use to have a word with concern JTO Mr. S K Sharma and SDO Mr. Bhupesh but all in vain. If a phone is dead more than 7 days and no response to the complaint shows the efficiency and workmanship of the department.

I have submitted an application to shift my Phone No.2356449 from Theesgaon Naka to my new flat at Theesgoan Naka on 03.09.2009 as per Work Order No 2288 at Kala Talao Office. it would normally take 10-15 days. However, after several follow-up, it is understood that due to lack of labour for laying cables, it is uncertain as to when I will get my phone connection. When I repeted follow-up at Nethvili Exchange they are advising me to surrender your land line other wise you will loose your entire deposit. Eight more people in my new building (of total 150 flats) is facing the same problem. When BSNL spends so much money on advtg, etc for cpaturing new customers, who will take care of the existing customers. Do we need to wait or surrender our existing connections and go for private sector connections...

S. Banerjee — BSNL ignores complaints

I applied for a BSNL landline connection here in Goa and I was told the line would be installed in a week's time. I was told to contact one Mr. Samanta in my area for the installation. But he either never received the calls or said each time he was going to install it on the day itself before hanging up. When it did not get done, he made excuses like the exchange is shifting, he was busy or he forgot. One day I was told that there needs to be new digging done for my line and it will take time. Calling the sub divisional engineer Mr. Chaudhari availed no results either. Finally I got my phone line after 2 months after constant prodding. Then I applied for Broadband. We bought an external modem when we were told it would make the process faster if we did not take BSNL's own modem. The connection was done in three weeks. But in two days my phone went dead. It has been over two weeks now and all calls to Mr. Samanta are met with "Yes Madam, it will be done today." I am still waiting for my phone to work. And I wonder why I should have to pay the full amount for a service I cannot avail of.

AS A MAJOR FALL-OUT ,of recent publications of a few TELEPHONE NUMBERS in Newspapers, in case of COMPLAINTS & CORRUPTIONS, the LINE SERVICES FOR DEAD TELEPHONES have further deteriorated.
Previously, those linemen used to attend the defunct lines within 48 hours .
AND NOW, despite COMPLAINTS recorded on 23 /10/2010 under Docket No: L-1022 and REPEATED REMINDERS, thereafter, none so far responded / attended to my dead telephone[protected]. till 05/11/2010(E)

I had complained of my telephone no[protected] which had gone out of service(dead) on 25.07.2011 and was provided with a docket no.D 7482.
On following up the matter with the authorities @ 24712025 & 24712020 I was provided with assurances that that the matter has been taken up and services to my telephone would resume shortly.
First & foremost I was appalled at the apathy of the Officials @ 24712020 & 24712025,the people at the latter telephone no have not responded to my calls. After calling 2471 2020 they have given me empty assurances of restoring my services as till the time of writing this complaint my telephone is still out of order.
With an ailing octogenerian lady member in the house it becomes difficult to keep contact with my house especially during emergencies.
With the Company spending crores of rupees advertising their services, I wonder how they will provide the same if the cannot restore a basic telephone service for six days let alone their false promise of attending to faults within 24 hrs.as advertised by Bsnl Kolkata.
I would request you to kindly forward my complaint to the highest authority so that consumers of BSNL Kolkata are spared the ordeal Ihave had to go through.

Dear Sir,
My Tele phone no. is 24865290, The instrument i.e.Telephone set is not working properly since last 6 months. Several times I have lodged complaints for its Replacement, but no action is taken till now.Every time a lame excuse is being given by your department taht NO NEW SET IS AVAILABLE in the store. For one reason or other my Telephone no[protected] remains dead occassionanily. It is connected to Broadband unlimited scheme of Rs 625/- pm + tax etc.
Numerous complaints has been lodged. Visited personally Mr N.C.Roy, DET, Jessore Road, Dum Dum & another officer namely Mr N.Konar on 16.4.2012 followed by telephonic call to Mr Gopal Das, SDE on 17.4.12. My Complaints nos are [protected] dtd 7.4.12 and [protected] dtd 19.4.12. It would not be out of place to mention that abruptly false billing use to come number of times for more than Rs 2700/-, 4800/- or so. Subsuently it got corrected after number of personal visits to their office . As a matter of fact I am paying at least Rs 771/- pm having no benifit from their Broadband service.
What I strongly feel is that number of top officials of BSNL are getting undue advantages from other service providers & in turn they are obliging them at the cost of maligning the name of BSNL. Getting the same infrustructure of BSNL other service providers are providing excellent service to their customers and on other hand we are getting most callous service from BSNL. What is the use of keeping such line ? I am getting fed up with BSNL.

My mother is a senior citizen (aged about 75 years). Her land phone no. is 25563052. Her land line connection is out of service (dead) since last one month. I have lodged a complaint dt. 23.03.2012. But no action is taken till now. It causes great inconvenience to me to contact with my old mother who resides alone in her residence. Please take necessary step immediately.

I do not know when it will be restored and why I have to pay for a dead line.

Respected Sir,

I desire to draw your kind attention to the fact that my land line no: 033 – 2526 6045 has been out of order (dead) since 07/04/2015. Several complaints have been lodged against the said dead line under the above reference, but no fruitful action has yet been taken by the site office and/or concerned technical staff.

It may kindly be noted that concerned technical staff attended and inspected on
11/04/2015 against my complaint under ref (1) and said that the line as drawn from the out side of my Flat at 3rd floor to ground floor junction Box is required to be changed by me; if they changed the cost of wire is to be borne by me. The concerned staff left the place advising me to contact the Senior Linesman. Thereafter, I received a sms from your end that your complaint is resolved. The said telephone line is still dead, then how is it resolved?
Under such circumstances, I again lodged a complaint under ref (2) and received a sms from your end that BSNL staff Shri Gopal Das, [protected](M) has been assigned for the job. But, Shri Das neither came to enquire about it nor had discussed with me about the complaint dated 11/04/2015 till now. On the other hand I have astonished to receive a sms that my complaint dated 11/04/2015 is resolved. The said telephone line is still dead, then how is it resolved?
Under such compelling circumstances, I am bound to lodge a complaint again under ref (3). And I received another sms as usual BSNL staff Shri Gopal Das, [protected](M) has been assigned for the job. It is expected that the line drawn from the outside of my flat to BSNL junction box shall be changed by the BSNL, if the line is fault. I would, therefore, request you to please look into the matter and take necessary steps to repair the faulty line, if it is fault, by use of your good office in accordance with your existing norms and/or existing rules & regulations of BSNL.
So far my knowledge goes, the faulty line and/or dead telephone is to be repaired / restored within 3days from the received of a complaint as per existing norms of BSNL.
An early action from your end to restore the said dead line is solicited.
A line of confirmation for the same is solicited.

i cant access internet and phone line.(Number is[protected].
The problem in phone line that is no incoming call are coming and no out going call are going because when i pick up receiver then coming useless voice.
this problem was 2 months and we was tied to complaining in exchange and also head office.

    broadband/telephone — out of order since 18/03/2010

    my line with broad band connection [protected] is out of order since 18/03/2010 my user id is[protected] please restore manju srivastava
    Telephone No.[protected] is out of order since last one month. I have tried to lodge the complaint through Calcutta Telephones automatic complaint lodging system several times, but in vain, since this system of this exchange is NOT repeat NOT functional.

    In view of the above facts, I have tried to lodge the complaint again from another automatic complaint lodging exchange but failed to do so!!, it was a very sorry condition to hear the automatic reply state that “the exchange does not fall under their jurisdiction".
    I have lodged complaint against my telephone no.25468636 on[protected] in respect of my land phone as well as broadband services which were completely out of service vide BSNLsystem.communication on Id[protected] which was repaired on[protected]. But from[protected], my land phone is out of order but broadband services is ok. Obviously I have tried to lodge complaint for my land phone on "198". On contacting "198", I am at a loss to understand to hear that Quote: " Your complaint is already registered and the status for your complaint is work is in progress vide docket no. [protected]". Hence actions may please be taken so that my land line will be in order.
    I made a complaint for noisy telephone([protected]) on May 23, 2012.The complaint was attended to without any tangible result.The telephone is as noisy as before.However, noise at some moment subsides but next moment it is back to square one.In fact, I have not had noise free telephone ever since I lodged complaint.So fault needs to be properly detected and mended with proper care.

    I've another problem too.I can't avail your automatic fault booking facility as my earlier complaint made couple of months back is already in your system as the latest one..So whenever I try to register a new complaint I'm greeted with recorded voice saying ' my complaint is already registered and work is in progress' .In other words system doesn't accept my new complaint and it's most irritating.

    Hope, you would kindly address my grievances at your earlistest.

        My land line (No.[protected] is getting out of order again and again since April 2010. During May'10 the telephone was out of order for about the whole month. I booked complaint repeatedly at BSNL automatic fault booking service but in vain. Nobody did anything. Phoned the local exchange but still no result. Then I faxed a letter to the Public Relation Officer - Nodal Officer (Public Grievances) on 24th June'10. On 25th suddenly one man from the local exchange called my number and told that the fault has been repaired. Today on 26th June '10 the phone is again dead from evening.
        May this letter be able to draw the attention of the top level people of BSNL so that my harassment may be stopped for ever?

          I requested ten time BSNL for reset broadband password through customer care no “[protected]”. But my problem not address properly. Customer care official without listening the problem disconnecting the telephone line.

          Customer care no “[protected]” officials not available after 6 pm. Auto registration is possible after 6 pm. But auto registration problems are ignores by BSNL Customer care officials.

          I am unable access my broadband since 25/05/2010.

            My broad band service from BSNL Kolkata Telephones is working intermittently for the last two months. In spite of this I have received an abnormally inflated bill of Rs 4,000/- for broadband usage. My usual bill are within the allowed download limits and has never exceeded Rs. 250/-.             I have been using BSNL landline since 1998 with the telephone no[protected]Jiban Krishna Roy, of 13, Vivekananda Sarani, PO-Italgacha, Kolkata-700079) but i have never ever got such "horrible" customer service which i got in last one month.I am using BSNL Broadband connection, but since one month i am not able to access the internet at home.

            I have physically visited two times at the telephone exchange office (near dum dum nager bazaar, ex code-2559) but no action has been taken yet.Even i have tried to call several times in the complain number which had been given to me earlier[protected] but no one picked up the phone.

            As i am connected with the share trading so internet access is paramount important for me.

            So i would request you to take my problem as a concern and do the needful as soon as possible.

            In my application dated 28th Dec'2010, I had requested BSNL, Calcutta telephones to disconnect board band services from 1st. Jan2011 and to sent a revised bill to enable me pay telephone charges for Dec'2010(to be paid in 1/2011) separately. The bill for Dec'10 was with advance payment for Board Band charges. The Board Band service was disconnected from 1.1.2011 as requested by me but revised bill for payment of telephone bill was not sent despite meeting the concerned officer. Meanwhile, my telephone service was withdrawn for non-payment of bill. I was compelled to pay Rs 789/-against a duplicate print which did not indicate any break up for telephone and BB charges.. As the Broad Band(BB)service charge was paid in advance till Dec'2010 and the service was terminated on 1.1.2011, there cannot be any dues without service. AO/TR(JDV) have now intimated that my telephone bill is about Rs 200/- approx. and balance charges is for BB. On contact over telephone the officer informed that BB charges upto 13.01.11 has been levied. Since Band was disconnected from 1.1.2011, no amount is due to BSNL on account of this.How there could be Broad band charges when no service was provided or availed. Despite repeated request, the excess amount has not been returned or adjusted. I will be thankful if the excess amount paid by me is adjusted in my telephone bills or returned.at the earliest

              I am customer of BSNL's Calcutta Telephones; my phone number is 2564 6540 & customer ID is :[protected]. Calcutta Telephones offered 20% rebate on broad band charges to Government and Govt. Undertaking employees. I applied on 10 Jun 2009 with employer's certificate for the rebate and submitted the application with their customer care office at my home telephone exchange i.c Panihati Telephone Exch.. Surprisingly they have not affected the rebate to my broad band charges. I brought the matter to their notice on 17th Feb 2010; they asked for submission of another application. I obliged and they received the application but to my utter dismay they have not affected the application yet. I find the bill dated 07/03/2010 does not reflect any rebate on broad band charge!
              Besides submitting the application with their office at Panihati Exchange, I faxed my application along with latest telephone bill and the letter of receipt of said application to BSNL's Calcutta Telephones A.O.T.R at his Barrackpore office, apprehending non compliance of my application but nothing worked. It seemed they are deep sleep and age old lackadaisical, indifferent attitude still persists. It is not a matter of surprise that I called number of times the Accounts Officer Barrackpore, being advised by BSNL.s SAMPARK i.e.1500; but none ever picked the phone!!
              Could anyone suggest me what else could be done remotely ( as visiting their office , taking leave from your own, never guarantees any remedy. You may find none or none may talk to you).

                Calcutta Telephones with much doll drums to promote their broad band service offered 20% rebate on broad band charges to Govt, and Govt Undertaking's employees. I applied for the rebate on 10/06/2009 on rental for broad band service for domestic usage. At the same time I switched over to unlimited download from Home 500 plan. The there was a promotional offer for unlimited broad band service @Rs500/- pm for six months, the actual charge being Rs750/- pm. On the counter they said after this promotional period is over my application for the rebate on broad band rental will be affected. But it was never so.

                The BSNL, or Calcutta Telephone is yet to get up from its age old slumber. I find the bill with full charge on broad band service is presented this month i.e February 2010. It is surprising that The Calcutta Telephone does not accept any billing complaint online! I tried to contact concerned AOTR, Barrackpore on phone, but could not succeed as there was none to pick up on any day between 15/02/2010 to 20/02/2010!

                There is always a high billing is charging since last 4-5 bills I've received till date. My normal billing never rises more than Rs.500.00 per bill if you check our history, but last few bills it is much above this figure. It is Rs.1085.00 in Jan-Feb'11 bill period. This time I'm not going to pay this bill as long as it is not sorted out. If it is not sorted out within next 48 hours I'll surrender my connection.

                I have Broad Band fixed monthly charges Rs. 800/- but LL you are charging Rs. 180/- for 124 calls. But please be noted I have using telephone connection only usage for BB and we have four mobile connection. So, provide me call list on immediate effect to re-check. There is always a high billing is charging since last 4-5 bills I've received till date and everytime you are charging late fine though paid bill within due date. My normal billing never rises more than Rs.1050.00.00 per bill if you check our history, but last few bills it is much above this figure Rs.1200.00. This time I'm not going to pay this bill as long as it is not sorted out. If it is not sorted out within next 48 hours I'll surrender my connection.

                  WE ACCEPTED MANIKJOD OFFER FLOTED BY BSNL AND A CONNECTION WAS RECEIVED (NO.[protected]) AGAINST LANDLINE NO[protected]. WE ARE RECEIVING BILLS FOR THE MOBILE CONNECTION FROM BSNL ON EVERY MONTH AND PAYING THEM REGULARLY. BUT THERE IS NO NETWORK AVAILABLE IN MY HOME AT GARULIA, DAKSHINPARA, DIST. 24 PARGANAS(N) WITHIN JURISDICTION OF KOLKATA(CALCUTTA) TELEPHONES (where the landline is installed). I WANT DISCONNECTION.

                  This is to further add that in Dakshinpara, all the BSNL subscribers are surrendering their CELLONE connections for the non-cooperation from the BSNL authority as no NETWORK is available here since the long days and months.

                      In the month of Dec.08 a work order was issued for shifting my landline telephone 24411889. It could not carried out till Oct.2009. During the period I was compelled to pay the rental throughECS. I stopped the same in Oct.2009 and requested to cancel the long pending work order and allow me to surrender the telephone on 15-10-09. The BSNL is harrassing the consumer and sending from this office to that office. All relevant documents in this regard are with the undersigned. Kindly look in to the matter and allow me to surrender the telephone and make arrangements for paying back my bills paid for a non-functioning telephone. My customer ID is[protected]. The telephone was installed at 1/2/1m Dharmatala Road, Kasba, Kol-42.The changed address is 2F Dharmatala Road, Kasba, Kol-m 42.

                        On Last seven days my telephone no [protected] has been found complete dead off and on.When it becomes dead, for testing, I have tried to call from my mobile and on the screen of mobile it is seen that the said telephone no is busy.I think that there is something wrong and some conspiracy behind it.
                        I apprehend that my telephone bill may increase by the unauthorized ghost call by the miscreants tapping my telephone line.
                        I am requesting the higher authority of calcutta telephones to enquare the matter and help me to stop the activities of the miscreants.

                          my complaints are: 1) in bill no[protected] dt 10/08/2009 SMS usage charge billed Rs 8.80 for 6 no local bsnl sms. but the sms rate is rs 0.25 per (150 character) sms.
                          2) i have submitted ecs form duly filled up endorsed by my bank with a cancelled cheque on 23.06.2009 at bsnl office, salt lake. but no response till today.

                            My telephopne no.23587371 went dead sometime in the last week of July instant.Lodged a complaint on 2.8.2009(docket no.E1134).The lineman visited on 5th August 2009, checked the line and advised that the "Splitter" has gone out of order, he would submit a report the same day, it would be changed hopefully next day and It is available with Office only.Till then my broad band operates but phone line is dead.I have visited Bidhannagar BSNL office more than once and given to understand that as the modem was purchased by me outright and it is already appx two year old, either I have to again purchase the set(modem/splitter etc), else I have to purchase it from outside.They do not sell it individually.I have tried to have it from outside, but could not get yet.My humble submissions are a) why the lineman assured it confidently! b) Is it the rule that the splitter can not be sold by company separately!c) my telephone is till dead.Is it expected from Calcutta Telephones??Kindly redress my grievance urgently.

                              Last Saturday (August 1), my telephone[protected] went out of order. I lodged a complaint (Docket No. D 1711) and since it was a Saturday, waited for two days. On Monday, I called up the DE external's office (Ranikuthi) and was told that it will soon be repaired. It has been more than four days, and I have called them several times, but nothing has happened till now. My work is getting hampered because of this.
                              Last Saturday (febuary 1), my telephone[protected] went out of order. I lodged a complaint (Docket by my local exchange but no reply on dated 10/2/10, I called up the DE external's office ( dum dum) and was told that it will soon be repaired. It has been more than four days, and I have called them several times, but nothing has happened till now. My work is getting hampered because of this.
                              My Brother's Telephone No:[protected] dead for -15- days. I have tried your automatic fault booking system but failed. Pl look into matter immediately.

                                my broadband connection(on[protected] is not working since 11.07.2009. i have registered a complaint on 12.07.2009, my docket no being x5833. even till now there has been no action from their end.. and my broadband is still not working...I have given them several reminders by calling their helpline nos but still no response...

                                its really frustrating as we are dishing out Rs 600-700 per month when the service has been off since 20 days...
                                I am not getting broadband connection since 18.6.2008.Several complaints have been made at their broadband complaining Tel. No.[protected].Most of the times the above No. remains invalid.After thousands of trial Icould lodge complain. The machine made complain Doc.No S4709, S8374on25.6.08&27.6.08. But it is a matter of regret that after the complaint one telephone comes every time .The person on the other side assures me that he would come .But nobody comes. This happend several times.Since last two or three days the complain receiving No. is not working. So I am quite undone. I dont know what to do. Please help.

Initially my phone was dead but it got activated 2 days back but still internet is not getting connected. The error code mentioned during connection is "Error No. 678".                                 My broadband connection is not working for last six months, after repeated complain no action has yet been taken. Wheras I am paying for the same, I am cheated.
                                Sub : Non working BSNL ‘DATA ONE’ Broad band services (fault 678)


                                1. My broadband connection[protected] is systematically cut (almost) every evening, and restored next working day by 11 am .
                                2. This problem is going on for more than a month
                                3. My complaints are known and discussed by the Bandel exchange staff in details.
                                4. They have confirmed by visit that modem and connection/Anti virus at my end is OK.
                                5. I have logged complaint every time the line is cut, (at BSNL Nos.1500 /1504).
                                6. I received lot of e-mail every next day from BSNL, once the line is restored.
                                7. But come evening line is again cut (the exchange is closed for customer at this hour)
                                8. I have logged about a dozen complaints in one month last 4 including today’s is listed
                                N 1407 & E 9634 (7th. June 20.45 ) restored on 8th at 10.45 AM.
                                N 4514 & F 0411 (9th. June, 19.19) restored on 10th at 10.20 AM
                                N 9936 & F1756 (13TH June 19.30) restored on 14th 10.30 am
                                T 1224 ( 14th june at 20.50) restored 0n 15th 10.30 am
                                9. The connection is restored automatically on the next working day after 11 AM.
                                The timing is such that we can not contact the exchange to verify the problem

                                This phenomena is recent, may be for last 2 months only.
                                I consider this as a terrible harassment to me, and a loss to my regular work.
                                I would not like to pay Rs. 25/- per day, if this is the service from BSNL every day then
                                I will be compelled to switch over to other options, under written protests to all concerned authorities in BSNL.

                                  I am the customer of landline & broadband of calcuttatelephones.My phone no is[protected].From 19 june my phone was completly dead.For this reason, broadband was also not available.I docket this fault on 23 June.Till now nothing has done from bhatpara telephone exchange.
                                  I informed all the concerened persons of bhatpara exchange repeatedly including DE External(Mr. B.B. MOndal[protected], Tapan Mazumdar, K.Charborty.Some of them behaves very rough like i am begging.Every time(already three time since 23 june) when i met Mr BB Mondal, he was saying that work is going on & your fault will be retified within two-three days.But Mr K. charborty was saying that need to replace cable due to cable cut & still no work is going on due to unavailability of cable.Mr.K.charborty was saing that BB Mondal was saying wrong & BB Mondal was saying that K.charborty was saing wrong.As top authority of bhatpara telephone exchange was biased & telling lie, i am suffering long time & not sure when & how i will get my phone & broadband in working condition.As a customer, what can i expect ? Better service or Rough behaviour ? I am working in IT company & broadband is very essential to me due to client demo.

                                  As there is no other way for me to my phone & broadband service back in working condition, i am writing this mail to you & expecting that u will take appropriate action & my phone & broadband service will be in working condition as soon as possible.

                                      Myself is a consumer of Calcutta Telephones ( Under BSNL) since 1998. My present Telephone connection is[protected] under Kalindi Telephone Exchange.In the recent outcome of storm " AILA", in my locality, large number of telephone connections got affected as the post carring your DP box have been damaged by up rooting of a tree. This has been reported in your Exchange in due time, but surprisingly no action has yet been taken by the Exchange. My question before you that instead of putting alibys, as the Exchange is exhibiting, will you be prompt to resume your service in this area or not. Other wise we, in a mass, would sever our consumer relationship with you.

                                      I have booked a complain on 07.10.09 with Calcutta Telephones as my landline went "dead" from the same date. No repairing has been done till now though though informing to Sarsuna Telephone exchange, Sarsuna. All the time the are assuring me that the repairing w'd be done in the very next day but nothing has been done & my telephone is still "dead" & the complain (docket no:D4380) is still "alive".

                                        I was on the Home Plan 500, till November 2008, when the much hyped advertisement was publicized widely with BSNL ' REDUCES ITS RATETO RS.500/- UNLIMITED'. On applying for the same I was told that they would intimate the effective date to me, which they never bothered to do so. Instead they stopped displaying the usage chargeable details from 6th December, 2008 to ' 0 ' units everyday and the final chargeable units showed as on the close of 31st December, 2008, was 348.54 Mb. And I was billed for the sum of Rs.4133.60 P for the Dec 08, broadband uage, against my initial Home Plan 500. Again in the January 2009 Bill, they have charged me with Rs.750/- as Broadband Rental which is a different Plan altogether for which I have not applied at any point. In spite of my repeated plea to all concerned officials of Calcutta Telephones ( D.E. (Intl), Dum Dum Exchange, Nodal Officer, Kolkata, Appellate Officer, Kolkata), my complaint has found no redressal from any quarters. I have also registered my complaint with the National Consumer Helpline ( Complaint No. 168425 dated 04.02.09), still awaiting for their necessary action. I have repeatedly asked for the details of chargeable units usage for the month of Dec 08, which they have yet to comply with. I have a copy of the same as displayed in my portal id usage details to justify my claim, which they are not taking into account for reasons best known to them.It is surprising that the Bills of BSNL does not reflect any usage details making it questionable at every stage of doubt. For me it is shocking that I have to face such an ordeal from a large Govt. organisation like

                                        Calcutta Telephones — Worst service by GOVT Organisation

                                        My Telephone number is 24286247 of Calcutta telephones.Using this line for last one and half years.My telephone line is almost dead for round the year, but every month bill is comming and i am paying the bill.I have also a broad brand connection and IPTV connection in this number and all are not working.I have given complain after complain regularly like a daily routin.but still today nothing happen.
                                        I understand that this is Calcutta telephones.

Hiltake Electronics (P) Ltd., P-17, Mission Row Extension, Kolkata - 700013 vide their Receipt Sl. No. ROF/RS/1758 dated 24.10.2011 with Rs. 1144.00 for Modem. But till date i.e.09.11.2011 no any response from BSNL department for connection of the same.
