I am a customer of Canara Bank since 2008 and now my ATM card got expired, I visited the branch and filled up the ATM card form. It's been 3 months now and not received my card and in branch they are ignoring the customers. Today also I opened the account for my brother and they didn't issue the ATM. Could you please take this as priority and help us.

    I've taken mortgage loan for 15 lakh and paying my EMI regularly however due to covid and owing to a personal accident i couldn't earn as I used to. Thereby couldn't pay my emi on time and missing it for few months now. I've requested my bank (Canara bank, main branch, Thanjavur, Tamilnadu, India) but they are not even considering the possibility to extend my loan tenure with reduced EMI. someone please help

      Request for settlement(Loan ID:[protected]

      Currently I don't have amount to pay total outstanding amount

      But this time I am not able to pay emi due to financial crises

      I lost my job and not getting job for last 6 months we borrow money from friends and relatives for surviving, so i want to settle this in a fair and just manner so that you can have the money you deserve and we can be relieved of the burden of owing you this debt.

      I can able to pay only 20-25% of my total outstanding amount. If agree to settle with this amount, i shall be clearing their dues within the next 10 business days. More than 20-25% is not affordable for me in the present situation.

      I am ready to settle this as soon as i get the confirmation from your side.

        On 21st August i have made a payment to W company via paytm for amount 7199.

        I got a reply from the company that they have not received the amount. My amount was not sent to the bank and stuck in between but my bank is not returning it back because whenever an amount is failed its always returned back on the same day.

        This is the worst bank ever
        Totally fraud.

            My ATM is working only in CANARA and HDFC ATM Machines, its not working in other atm machines, and swip machines, I visited 2 times to bank they said i am lying, and the want a proof .
            how can i give them a proof, the atm machines showing 'please remove the card'
            and they sad ; 'this is not a problem you are lying, i[censored] want new card pay 500 and you will get new card after 6 month'

            Please help me with this problem

                I have been working in an organization for nearly for two years. During Covid 19, i.e. August 2020, the company has closed down their activities with pending dues.
                Today I approached my bankers to get my Provident Fund withdrawals form No. 19 along with necessary supporting documents for their signature in order for me to submit the documents to PF department for my claim. Initially the Manager refused to verify and sign the document. I requested them that there is a provision to sign, if the company is not there, the bankers can sign the documents on their behalf.
                The Manager has gone through the provisions and finally agreed to sign and asked me to pay Rs. 150 + GST = Rs. 177/-, they told me and they deduct from my savings account. It was quite surprising to note that for getting a signature from my bankers I have to pay charges. I'm a senior citizen, charging this much of an amount by my banker is really unacceptable.

                  Respected Authorities,

                  I was at the Canara Bank ATM on 9th August 2022, 5:10am located at 106, Langford Rd, Lakshmiamma Garden, Shanti Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560027, and was going to withdraw an amount of Rs. 5000/-. I went through the regular process of withdrawal, but the ATM machine did not dispense cash, showing transaction failed and my balance reflects that I have withdrawn the above-mentioned amount which I have not.

                  I had mailed to the Canara bank authorities about the same, they told me to contact my home branch, which I did with the proofs and a letter and they said they would look into it but they haven't replied back yet and also not taking any actions.

                  I have attached the required status and updates photos from my statement and the withdrawal failure message at the ATM. Also, the letter which I had written to the Canara Bank authorities to which no reply was received and also the ATM's.

                  Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible. I would like to be updated about this and get back the amount which wrongly shows as debited.

                      My father and me had a joint fd. My father passed away on 29th Jan. Now many fd's have been prematurely closed in March without my notice. None have informed me and even after multiple follow ups i have not got any response from the bank.

                      I need the amount back. Please look into this matter since it's a high amount of money.

                      I tried to call then manager Javed on this, sent him WhatsApp msgs but no response and he infact switched off his mobile number.

                      How can a transaction happen or get prematurely closed without informing me ?

                        Dear sir,

                        I, Akhil K. Kumar, worked for a private company on a salary basis from 2017 to 2019 and was relieved from that position in January 2019. After that, I stopped using that salaried account (CANARA BANK) as I already had a savings account with another bank (Indian Bank), At that time, the pandemic prevented anyone or any banks from contacting me. Six to eight months later, an executive called and requested money. I explained that it was my salaried account, which I was not using, and he said they had changed it into a savings account and that I needed to provide some cash. Later, I made an error with a UPI transfer from a friend that was accidentally sent to this account, and they deducted an amount of RS.600 from that account, Now that it's 2022, they have sent me a registered letter stating that I have a loan and must pay the required amount. I called the appropriate bank, and they specified that I must pay the negative balance of Rs. 300 that I made during this tenure in order to pay off the debt. If an account is inactive for a while, they will cancel it, but in this case, they have kept the same in negative balance. According to RBI Regulation, no bank should impose a penalty and, the account should not go negative, and the bank should notify the customer if any other changes have been made in any account. In my case, there was no interaction regarding the same, regarding minimum balance via messages or calls, and now they have accounted the draught indicating if I am unable to pay they will further move to revenue strategy by law. I have also included the same draught that was supplied to me in my regional language malayalam, which makes the same points. I am not willing to pay the specified amount as they have already deducted some amount earlier.

                          I bought Innova crysta and financed some amount from Canara bank kharar Mohali branch on 20th June 2022.
                          Canara bank employe Jyoti promised me same day loan and car delivery.Jyoti mam said sanction amount is 14lacs and other pending amount I paid to Toyota company.I repeatedly message her and call her for my sanction letter but she refused and said sanction letter comes after one week time. Now Globe Toyota Mohali told me that they only received 13lacs from Canara bank.I said my loan is of 14lacs not 13 lacs.Moreover Jyoti mam called me and said your Cibil is low only 13 lacs approved.i told her why are you telling this after 2 months and how I can arrange funds right now and I request her to send sanction letter to email id. When I read the sanction letter its totally against the communication between Jyoti mam and me.

                          (1)date on sanction letter is 28/06/2022 which is 8 days after the car delivery.
                          (2)Interest rate shown is 9.7% which is far more than committed 7.35% and overwriting on interest amount.
                          (3)Without the intimate she add my family member as co-obligant in loan.

                          Now she said due to your Cibil score your interest is high otherwise your loan can not process, and they said you have to pay one lakh remaining amount to dealer because we can't finance 14lacs.

                          I am doing job I can't pay high interest rate and I don't have extra money which is one lakh.Which I can't pay right now to dealer.
                          Kindly help me out and decrease the interest percentage and disburse full amount to dealer.

                              The address of the customer not updated after two years of approach everytime bank demanded new application and address proof. Also when we enquire the fixed deposit details which is there with the banks from 2014 the lady refuses to check after many press she bluntly replied saying that there is no fixed deposits at all in the accounts. Not even little concern after updating that its very old account to check again the answer was system showing there is no fd in the account, contact someone.

                              THE ADDRESS OF THE CUSTOMER NOT UPDATED AFTER TWO YEARS OF APPROACH EVERYTIME BANK DEMANDED NEW APPLICATION AND ADDRESS PROOF.
