On june 29, 2018 the branch atm was not functioning. I urgently needed rs. 2000/-. I requested to the concern officer of the branch (Perhaps his name is mr. Nityanand) for issuing withdrawal slip. After all the inquiries he refused to provide the same while i was ready to produce my office id card, pan and aadhar but he refused very badly.
It is important to mention, my a/c. Is salary account and it is more than 20yrs old. Just i want to know:
I) whether the incidence is as per rule of bank??
Ii) in which conditions bank issued withdrawal slips??
Iii) the problem faced by me, who will be responsible for that??

    Hi.

    I have been subject to extreme misbehaviour by canara bank gariahat branch manager today june 21, 2018.
    Earlier in the day, i had visited the bank with my father to transfer my account from their n. S. Road branch to their gariahat branch which is closer to my house. There were two procedures which had to be carried out for this,

    1. Transferring the account
    2. Opening a new account with the new bank.

    The first process was handled by the branch manager himself and was done very quickly and diligently and i quite appreciate the effort he put into it.
    When i went to open the new account with another manager, she completely ignored me. And this happened three times.
    During that time my father was sitting in the branch managers cabin where he was being explained about some policy. I went to him (My father) and mentioned that i have been following the lady to open the bank account and she is not even replying to me, and i felt it was too rude. The bank manager sitting in front happened to hear it and became furious about it and almost lost his temper at me and started humiliating me and talking to me in a very abusive manner in front of few of his employees. I believe this is not a way to behave with a woman and mostly a customer of the bank.
    As the manager told us, apparently, the lady was worried about some air conditioning problem and hence she was not attending to me and running away without even answering or excusing herself from me, and since they did the transfer of my account from one bank to another asap, i should not complain about their customer service behaviour, because they did their job right.
    Just because you did one job right does not mean you can abuse your customers. My complaint, which was not even a complaint and just a talk between myself and my father were not about them transferring my account from one bank to another, i have already appreciated that both in this mail and in front of the bank manager several times. My complaint was about the bank staff not being able to handle their clients respectfully and this was blown out of proportion by the bank manager is the most abusive way. She could have at least excused herself to me and it would be ok, even then i was fine with it as it was a trivial issue, though personally i feel responding to a client or excusing yourself if there is an urgent problem is a right way to behave. Its client and human courtesy.
    The bank manager continuously kept bringing this topic up until he started to talk in a high tone which later grew to screaming at me in an abusive way about why i complained about this lady when she was busy fixing the air conditioning and when they had already transferred my account so smoothly i do not have any right to say that there is any lack of customer handling.
    I repeatedly told him i appreciate his work but this i felt was rude and i brought it up with my father and not even you, and a customer has every right to bring a point up if they things it was not right. He went on harping on it, screaming and misbehaving. Being a woman visiting this bank with my 73 years old father, i was too scared by his behaviour. I and my father literally started to tremble because of his misdemeanour and did not know what to do then than to leave the premises as his fury was just too much to handle.
    I do not think he is suitable to be a bank manager if this is how he treats his customers. He has literally harassed a woman by his words and a senior citizen today, which i'm sure is against a lot of laws in india, and it is quite disheartening to see a man like this to occupy such a chair.
    I have a lot of my and my families money stuck in this bank and we are very scared to go back because we do not know how he might treat us next.
    I would earnestly request someone to help us out with this problem, and help us take all our savings out of this bank and transfer it to our other bank where we at least feel safer physically.
    I really hope it can be dealt with in the best fashion, and someone would help us to get all out money out of this bank as soon as possible because we cannot think of being able to maintain any future relationship with canara bank.

    I am really looking for some help.

      pos terminal not working from last two months

      Hi,

      I made a refund statement from amazon under the authorization Code (Refund Reference Number) 8.16316E+11. I was supposed to receive an amount of Rs.429 by 6/18/2018 but it is not reflecting in my account still.I made cancellation on 6/12/2018 . It seems Amazon has successfully processed the refund from their part and when i got in contact with the bank they said they dont have records of the refund reference number.Please look into to it and revert as soon as possible.I kindly request for the refund.

          I am nikita chaturvedi i have an account in canara bank dabra branch. There is only one atm of canara bank which is near canara bank dabra branch, as we all know that atm's are for 24*7 services but in the morning around 11 am i went to canara bank to withdraw some money because i reissue a new atm card and it only works for the first time if i have done the withdrawl from the canara atm only but when i reached it was close then i asked a lady sitting on a counter in the canara bank dabra branch about when it will be reopen she carelessly answered "shaam tak khul jayega check kar lena" as my home is very far away from the atm then also i went around 4 pm it was close at that time, so i thought i came "early" as there will be some "specific" timings for the atm to be open then again i went around 6 pm then also it was closed. I went to bank twice just to issue my new card there that lady sitting on a counter unnecessarily called me for the 2nd time as it should get issue on the first day itself that's the policy of the bank. I am really pissed with the canara bank services. I also called for the complaints at bhopal office of canara bank but that guy just gave me an email address that i wouldn't be able to listen properly and just cut the phone. Kindly do something about this.

            My father bidarthi singh is account holder of canara bank (Branch rampuratauli 001728). He was expired on 06 apr 18. All documemt for transferring of amount to my mother lavan dhari devi duly completed submitted to branch manager on 23 may 18. New ac in favour of my mother also opened on 23 may as per advised by bank. Branch manager always assured that "apka kam aaj ho jayega". But wo aaj kab hoga pata nahi. Amount is not credited to my mother ac till date. My mother is too old and cannot chase the application in bank daily
            . I am working 1000 km away from this branch. Request approach branch manager to process my application on priority.

            I have done mobile top up for sundirect 753 through can mobile on 11/06/2018.transaction no[protected].i received a message top up transaction sucessful but the the amount not yet clear.plz do neeful help for me sir.

              Hello,

                    I have been denied numerous times to update my passbook at the kudige branch in kodagu. Today on 13th june, i was in bank at 11 in the morning and the staff raju who is supposed to update passbooks was having breakfast. I had tp wait till 11 30 while a number of passbooks had piled. He simply collected them all and asked to wait again. This is a pathetic service and i wonder how a staff can go have his breakfast during such busy hours and not even the manager bothered about the crowd at the counter.

                    Each of my family member has an account here and below is the details of my account. I'm already thinking about another bank for my transactions in the coming future.

                            My amazon refund is not credited to my account yet. The reference no. For my transaction is 572856. The registered phone number with my bank account is [protected]. I am unable to place call to customer care and i would be glad i[censored] give me a call from your side. And if not please try to refund it asap as i need that money to buy something.
                            It's already been 10 days.
                            Try to provide with the working customer care's number on the internet.
                            Every time i use to call your customer care number tells it busy. If this continues i think you are going to loose customer.

                              1. I have tried to do online shopping in shopclue site on 6th june 2018 and after payment (632.00), the page showing as transaction failure and i have contacted shopclue customer care and confirmed that they didnt receive any payment. Please check the below message :
                              "we have checked and found that the payment against your order has not been received from the payment gateway due to which we are unable to process the order. If the amount has been deducted from your account, it will be auto-reversed as per the bank procedure or you may coordinate with your respective bank/cash card wallet issuing authority for the same."

                              2. Refund amount not yet credited. Please check the below message from shopclue team:

                              "refund of rs. 268.00 was succesfully processed on 09-june-2018 and should reflect in your account by now. Transaction number is [protected]".

                              Please help me to receive these amounts.

                                  I a. Sri ganesh (Sbi a/c no. [protected]) transferred an amount of rs.4000/- to sri g. Trinadh's canara bank account no.[protected]Ifsc code : cnkb0004475) of tuni branch on 02.06.2018 through imps (Quick transfer). The amount was deducted from my account and received message as "transaction successful". But the above official was stated that the amount was not transfered to his account. The reference id no. Is imps/p2a/[protected].in this regard, i contacted my own branch i. E sbi, mvp colony and registered a complaint vide no. [protected]. But the sbi branch authorities replied that the above transaction has been processed successfully and suggested that to take up the matter with the beneficiary bank authorities.
                                  Hence it is requested the canara bank authorities to intimate whether the amount was transferred to the above account holder or not. If not transferred to his account, kindly refund the above amount of rs.4000/- to my sbi account which was mentioned above.
