Myself Nagesh, working professional by chance i got 100 Rupees 4 cut notes . I went to exchange to the branch in Banashanakari Second stage, near monotype. (Opposite to pai vista hotel) . One clerk entered the note numbers in a register he took the signature also. Later what changed cashier mind i dont know, he started telling they will exchange only if i have account in their branch. Is this true ? after that i checked in RBI circulations and details, - " The Reserve Bank of India on Tuesday asked banks to make available the facility of exchange of cut/mutilated banknotes, in addition to soiled notes and issue of good quality clean banknotes/coins, at all bank branches (including those of co-operative banks and regional rural banks)." DOES IT IMPLY TO YOUR BANK AS WELL or someother. is this laziness of cashier or Canara bank ignores rule by RBI. Hope sombody will look into this.

    sir, Ebay India has reversed two of my card transactions on 21st march 2015 Almost one month have passed and that amount has not yet been credited into my account. They have given me the reference number for both the transactions. 1st Transaction- Reference number-BURP[protected] Amount - 2895 INR 2nd Transaction Reference number- BURP[protected] Amount - 2895 INR These are the two transactions for which i have not yet received the refund in my account. Please look into this problem I have called canara bank twice and even i have mailed them...nobody is helping me out... Now i am getting a feeling that it is a fraud bank.

      Sir, I am Indirani.B account holder of your reputed bank. My son has withdrawn money Rs.4000 on 21/2/2015 around afternoon 02.05 in a ATM of Pappakurichi branch in Thiruchirapalli money doesn't come so that he just cancelled and came out but message came as debited money from my account... I complaint (oral) my issue to the above mentioned bank already they took more than two month so far i didn't get back my money so please do me a needful this is my account no[protected] and card no- [protected]

        I had used Canara bank ATM ( Branch - Rail road branch Haridwar Uttarakhand) for the withdrawal of Rs 10000 from my SBI debit card on 27.03.2015 at around 9:00 pm . The ATM did not dispense the amount and showed please enter multiples of 100. Later I tried for Rs 5000 and I received the amount and I was shocked when I check the mini statement which showed a transaction withdrawal of Rs 5000 and Rs 10000. But, still I did not get the net banking. I did compliant the Staff and manager . Still I did not get the Proper response.. Please fine the problem and solve this problem .. by parthiban

              To whomsoever it may concern Hi, This is Adrian Fernandes. I visited Canara Bank, Kandivali west branch yesterday (27th March 2015). I had given my passbook to be updated and in the same duration, I happened to receive an urgent call.. As I answered the call, one of the customer services executives (Mr. Solanki) yelled out in a high pitch tone and sarcastically commented "This is not a park where the mobile phones would be allowed" This turned out to be a heated argument with around 15 odd people in the bank witnessing the same and I was left extremely surprised with this sort of a behaviour. Nor once, was there any sort of courtesy or polite tone used through out the conversation to inform me that the tone could not be used. When asked about any notice placed in the bank for non-usage of mobile phones, he started behaving absolutely rude. This sort of behaviour has been observed for the second time and inspite of raising a complaint, I guess no action might have been taken to improve. I would want a strong action to be taken with this regards and an apology by the bank. Regards Adrian Fernandes

                  Sir, I am facing problem with canara net banking since Feb-2015. When I opened my account in CanDigital it is showing name only but in the accounts section it is showing "There are no accounts for this function". When I brounght this complaint to local branch in Chintamani (Chikballapura Dt, Karnataka) they said that it is a technical fault and will be rectified automatically. But till date, the problem not solved and the local branch officers are not in a position to solve the problem. When I tried to complaint the same throuch canara bank site, every time it is showing that account number is invalid even I typed it correctly. I urge to resolve the same as soon as possible as my canara bank net banking is useless and facing problems to find other ways to transfer funds.                       Dear Sir/Madam, i am living in Pokhran (Rajasthan) and working as a teacher.Dated on 2nd and 3rd March at 23:46 PM to 00:17 AM five unauthorized transaction done through my ATM from Wet Delhi of Rs. 49600 while i was in Pokhran and ATM was with me.I registered the complaint on 5th March in Canara Bank branch office and they are saying that they will inform shortly.ten days are over but i not get any result. I also gone in three police station of 1. Branch office police station 2. Cyber crime cell police station 3. and Pokhran police station but no one did the FIR and simply said give us application and we will enquiry and from them also i not get any feedback till now. I request to you please help me and do the needful to credit the same amount in my account.Without media support i think it will not possible. With this incident we can also alert the public to protect themselves from cyber crime.                         My self sairaj bhoir I had submitted my new ATM request form in first week of feb2015. They told that you can collect ATM in 15 days. I went to collect ATM after 20 days, It has not come, they said it will take 1 more week. When I went After 1 week they said your ATM has come but don't know where we have put and they again said to come next time. I went again after 3 days (today), now they are saying that we don't have time to check, visit next time. When I informed this matter to the bank manager, she said I don't have sufficient staff and time to check your ATM, you can do whatever you want to do, you won't get your ATM today. This is how they react with the customers at the time of giving service. The have time only to deposit money from the customers. One more pregnant lady was there to collect ATM, she has been visiting bank for last 6 months but unable to get her ATM till date. I

                          ATM Transaction cancelled but money deducted from balance Hi, I have account in Canara bank, GUINDY(SREE ARUN ENGG FAB) I tried to withdrawal money 500 rs from one of The Canara bank's ATM[protected] on 21 feb 2015 at near 2.10 pm. but transaction was cancelled. After some time, i received Message of money deduction. Its happen for me before one time in the canara bank`s atm[protected] ref no 1557 on 05/09/2013 08:26:41 amount 1400.                             My Problem: I have net banking with Viewing and transaction Rights. When I click the loan menu its show the message “There are no Accounts Available for this function”. But I Need to view My Loan details in Net banking. I complained about this in Canara Bank by person and mail. But they said they dont know about that and advised me to contact Banglore Head office. I also contacted them via mail but they replayed me like follows : ... Dear Sir/ Madam, Kindly use the link “LOANS” Kindly send the screen shot for the same, to take up with the technical team. Then I attached a screen shot and sent that, but they didn't responded me till now.                               Dear Respected RBI, My name is MaheshKumar Lingayat holding an ac with Canara bank number :[protected]. Wish to inform you that since my Canara bank Debit card was lost while travelling in train on November 10, 2014. Have raised a request via Customer care at 1:43 am to block the Debit card. Canara bank customer care confirmed on call that the Debit card is blocked and there was no txns done. Inspite of confirmation from Canara bank Customer care my Debit card was mis-used in malad for Rs. 10, 000/- on November 10, 2014. Later, again Rs.14, 500/- was withdrawn on November 11, 2014 inspite of insufficient funds in the ac. Have submitted several complaints at Canara bank but there is no assistance Provided. Please find the attached complaints addressed to Canara bank along with ac statement. Please request your kind intervention since I was informed by Canara bank that the ATM txn done on November 10, 2014 for Rs.10, 000/- was from Kotak Mahindra bank ATM. I request your help in refunding the complete amount of Rs.24, 500 fraudulently withdrawn from my ac inspite of blocking the Debit card.                                     Canara Bank has modified it's netbanking systems in a way which does not benefit end users i.e. Account Holder. Narration as entered by user for e.g. Recharge for TATA Sky 430, does not appear when we check the Narration for all debit entries. Instead what appears is BILLDESK-[protected]-BILLDESK. What does this mean? What is the use of Narration field while doing a net banking transaction if it does not show what user enters? It is very difficult to understand what money is debited for what reason. Made many complaints to Canara Bank and they assured the system would change to the earlier format where we could see the narration as entered by the account holder. But still it does not work.                                     Recieved call from Mr Ramesh garg, General manager Customer care centre.

                                    He spoke to me for 5 minutes and asked about issue to which i reconfirmed.

                                    Then he put me on hold for 1 minute and the call got cut.

                                    Trying to call back his number [protected] which is not connecting.

                                    Awesome CANARA BANK. I have spoken to Albin Raj, Sundaraman etc and now Mr. Garg. All to no avail.

                                    Recieved call from Mr. Ramesh Garg from mobile number [protected] and Mr. Coutinho from Mobile number +91 [protected].

                                    Could not understand a single word of what Mr. Coutinho spoke to me in english. I tried speaking in Hindi with him but without any success.

                                    Mr. Coutinho said that for narration to be visible in my statement, CANARA Bank will chage me annually Rupess ten.

                                    I do not understand which bank in the world charges money from its customers to see narration as entered by customer.

                                    Very bad experience from Canara Bank.

ON 26.6.2014(5.54 AM), I INSERTED ATM CARD IN ATM OF STANDARD CHARTERED BANK(ID NO-SINC1765) TO WITHDRAW AMOUNT OF RS.2500/-.THE CASH DID NOT CAME OUT OF THE MACHINE BUT AMOUNT WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY BANK BALANCE.THE VERY SAME DAY, WITHIN HALF AN HOUR, I APPROACHED OTHER ATM OF AXIS BANK AND HENCEUPON 2500/- WAS WITHDRAWN. TOTAL 5000/- WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT BUT I GOT ONLY 2500/- CASH IN HAND.THIS IS THE MATTER OF COMPLAINT. I APPROACHED CANARA BANK MANY TIMES AND LODGED COMPLAINT IN PROPER FORM GIVEN BY BANK, BUT SINCE SO FAR, NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN ON MY COMPLAINT .
