I Applied for a Education loan from Canara Bank Branch In Ludhiana BRS Nagar for going abroad for furher studies. My sesssion starts on 22nd july In Australia and i was supposed to send the loan file and other foramalitie 45 days before to apply for visa.I applied for loan In bakn on 10th April.I completed all the foramalities required by the bank but i when i ever visited tha bank the Manager (Manmohan Singh) was absent from the office without any notice, the emplyees said that he will come tommorow and i visted next day he was not agian in the office.The same continued for 8 days and he came back 9th day.The employees did'nt say straight that he is on leave for 1week and misguided me.Here is not the end of haaasment when mangaer came back after 9 days the person handlih the loan department went on leave for 1 week and when he came back the manger was again on leave.At last when they both were there in office i went to them i asked about my loan status they said you have not given all the documents required.And when all the documents was submitted they said they will send the file to chadigarh branch for sanction and you can know the status for the same after15-20 days, when i went to them after 10 days they said they forgot to send the file and it was lying in there drawer. Two days later they called me up and said that we dont provide loan for diploma.when i asked that i have already told you its a diploma courrse and i have given you the offer letter of the university with all documents then why dint you said so the very first day, the reply was "its not our duty you shoud have asked me twice or thrice before initiating the procdure. And now i have apllied for loan from some other bank and have to extend my session to 21sep.Is this tha way of reputed bank treating their customers?

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT I AM FROM GWALIOR. MY ACCOUNT IS MAINTAIN LAST 10 YEARS IN CANARA BANK GWALIOR BRANCH.
THE BRANCH MANAGER & OFFICER MR. DINESH KUMAR KHARE IS VERY IRRESPONSIBLE PERSON IN WHOLE BRANCH.

ACTUALLY I AM DEALING IN HAND MADE CARPETS. AND I AM ALSO DOING EXPORT. MR. S.K. SHARMA IS TOTALLY NIL ABOUT THE EXPORT HE DO NOT HAVE A GOOD KNOWLEDGE IN THIS FIELD ALSO THE OFFICER MR. DINESH KUMAR KHARE ALWAYS IGNORING OUR WORK. AND NOT SUPPORTING US PROPERLY.

I am a customar of canara bank aminabad branch, lucknow having the saving account no.[protected]. i have used a.t.m. on dated 10.11.08 at 8 a.m. mt card assess & no any money coming out from the machine.

After that i used the secend a.t.m. in s.b.i., then i have come to know there is dr. 5000.00 from my account.

This is requested to you kindly clear this issue i already complaint in our branch, i dont get any positive response from there.
my name is Renu Devi A/C no [protected] in Danapur.I want ATM but the atm form is not available in the Bank for the Last 8 months.The Behaviour of the STAFF is very RUDELY and very IRRESPONSIBLE. Plz DO SOMETHING FOR THIS.

I am a customar of canara bank since 1998 at khadri branch mangalore karnataka.my account no 20302. i am working at saudi arabia, my company sent my salry 6 april, until now i did not get any reapply from branch managers, i sent many mail, but no reapply.
I made telephone call to this branch, they promise me, they will keep me updatd, but still northing
I hope you will take necessary action...

I Applied for a Education loan from Canara Bank Branch In erode at bhavani.i have joined sathyabama deemed university in chennai.I applied for loan In bank on june last week.I completed all the foramalities required by the bank.but the manager said that we dont provide education loan for deemed universitys.then give loan for under anna university colleges only. so my study was spoiling.so the canara bank rules are allowing the education loan for deemed universitys or not.so please solve my proplam.

    I am having Savings account in canara bank for seven years. I am receiving salary from that account. I am working in a govt institution for seven years in contract mode. In seven years two weeks before i want to buy a land i went to canara bank to ask a personal loan which i am going to repay in any case. For that the bank manager did not answer properly he told i am a contract staff. But previous managers have given loan to many contract staff. But if he is not giving a loan for a contract staff - he can give loan to a regular customer who is having a account in his bank and he can treat me as a house wife and grant loan My intention is I am in junior asst cadre so only he is rejecting me

    I am a pensioner and ready to get a loan against pension still I am always neglected.

      Sir,

      I had received my debit card03/08, but still it is not
      activated. I have my account ambarnath branch, I inquired
      about the status of activation of my card, but like my previous
      experience people doesn't care about customer's difficulty, even I
      approach to branch manager but as it might be bank policy of not
      attending customer's problem, he does the same thing.

      Can you please help me to activate my debit card?

      not received any details regarding ATM.



      Can you please let me know how many days will require getting my ATM card?



      For the same query I personally visited to Ambernath branch, but the
      person sitting on the desk of Manager Mr. Shendge is not
      answering/supportive, even he don't have manners to answer the queries
      and how to talk with customer. Treat this mail as a complaint against
      Mr. Shendge.

      My debit card shows invalid when used for paypal.

        I have opened an account in mylapore branch of chennai last month. Canara bank takes so much of time to do things, that you will have to put money in their account and forget about it for a few months. It took them 1 week to open an account, 3 weeks to issue a cheque book, their is no word called customer care in their dictionary. they speak to rudely to us, when we call them or go to bank. They say things like you do whatever you want your work will not be done. Even after 1 month of opening the account, they have not yet scanned my signature and fed it into the computer, for me to start using the cheque book. They have not yet issued debit card after 1 month's time, whereas other banks give it in 3 days time. If we call up at the branch, they do not respond and keep us on hold for hours and would not even help us out.
        Strict action has to be taken by RBI against this bank, if the bank is not bothered about customers, then it doesnt deserve to exist.

        I too agree. I faced many problems with CANARA BANK, MYLAPORE BRANCH which have not yet been resolved even after more than 2 years.
        Very poor customer service. Starting from Branch manager to staff - sick service provided for their customers.
        Nobody is getting rid of the old junk dumb employees of this bank.
        This is not running as a bank at all.
        The same kind of culture in Nazareth Branch, Tuticorin Dt as well. Shame of Canara Bank.

          My account #is 31076 in bsk 2nd stg branch B'lore-70, when i opened an account later i got a debit card after 2, 3 month instead of their promise as within one month. then i tried to use that but i was getting wrong password error. but to change a password even it couldn't accepted once but bank people saying that i hav changed the password after getting rid of a response after someday s they've instructed me to apply for a replacement of a card. On 14/6/08 i place an request FOR CARD but still they are asking me to wait for a couple of months [they are not sure of it as they acting like it may take more then a year]. Really no other banks are taking this much OF time to replace an card but in my account they are deducted money for replacing a card already. actually I'm thinking to cancel my account . this is a nationalize bank these as a lots of atm's nearby that's why i thought go for it. after seeing your bank people service i can say only one thing, that is "THIS IS NOT FAIR" . if you people take this issues seriously then your bank will become number one in the India. from the first 1 only it'll become thousand, lack and more. still i don't have any hope you people going to help me out. ...as soon as possible i'm trying to close my account..

            I had applied for a debit card atleast 4 times from Jan-08 till date, but i didnot receive the any response even after enquiring many times, they kept saying logo is changing.And I am yet to receive the Atm Debit Card.

            Highly Regret of opening an account in canara bank.Please advise your friend and relatives not open an account with
            Canara bank branches. (Government banks are not valuable and
            resonable)

            As my loan is approved from HSBC Bank Canara Bank, Yediur
            Branch, Jayanagar, Bangalore.they are not ready to give the ECS facility for me, they say that account should be 1 year old.Although I have maintained a minimum balance of 1000Rs and also my salary gets credited to this account every month.where as other banks are giving this service for 6 months.

            I am really pained by this act of Bank because I would need to loan for my old fathers medical expenses and would like to know what can be done in this regard.

            i am having a savings salary account in your bank at AROKKANAM branch (EXTN COUNTER), Vellore, Tamil Nadu. My account no is 34227. My ATM got expired on Jun 09.
            I send a authorisation to my my friend for getting my new ATM(debit card) with pin mailer ID. but the branch manager is refusing to give it. As I am posted in kochi and I cannot go there to collect it now . I have to put leave for that. But I want to with draw money as it is salary account. I tried to call the manager at[protected] but she is not picking up the phone though my friend is standing and telling her to pick up the phone.what shall do to get the atm as fast as possible.               AISE karte hue unhe 4 month ho gaye aye log aise hi kasrte hai abhi pihle mehin mera bhai demand draft banvaya tha use bhi nahi banya tha phir humane head office mai phone kiya jab jaa kai unho nai haath sai bana kai diya nahi to sabse asse hi khate rahtye hai
              inka manager bhi nahi suntha hai who bhi essi hai woi bhi inki therye karta rahta hai
              inke yeha cash jama karwana mai bhi adhe hours mai number atta hai or one counter has been open only please is bank walo ka kuch kariya mai bahoot tang hu inse mujhe next day apni statement chaiye

                On 17.06.08 ;I tried to withdraw money from a Canara bank ATM using my ICICI debit card . The machine showed invalid transaction and no money came out .
                But the amount got debited from my ICICI account simultaneously .

                Obviuosly canara bank ATE my money . And there is no apology from them yet .

                I have registered a complaint with ICICI and waiting for feedback .

                Shame on a bank which claims to be changing . Probably shud try to change its image of cheating people .

                  On 07.06.2009 I was trying to withdraw some money from Chembur Station (Mumbai) ATM, the card and money was not released instead of one slip state that the transaction declined, response code 151, expired card, get in touch with your branch to update your personal details.
                  My branch is Kalpakkam Tamilnadu wether the card will go to kalpakkam branch? Because I contacted to the Canara bank Chembur Main Branch, I was not get the satisfied reply.

                  On 28.06.2009 when my wife tried to withdraw money from vannarpet(Tirunelveli) ATM, the card locked in m/c because of card validity expired.Card belongs to gopalapuram branch, chennai.

                    On 22.04.2008 I tried to take out Rs 20000/- from the ATM of SBI Morwaha branch at Singraully vide canara bank atm card no [protected] issued by canara Bank golmuri branch Jamshedpur, but could not drw the money. Inspite of tno withdrawal of money sving account have been debited by Rs 20000/- with Rs 20 as atm charges. Inspite of submitting the complain in writting to canara bank golmuri JSR, still waiting for the said amount to be credited in my accounts

                    Canara bank seems to have long history of cheating .
                    I tried to withdraw money from a Canara bank ATM . the machine showed invalid transaction and gave no money .
                    But the amount got debited from my account.

                    Shame on abank which claims to be changing . Probably shud try to change its image of cheating people .
                    I overheard someone telling me about the cheat holes of canara bank's ATM counters, like withdrawing money is more than what the atm machine gives out though the statement or the mini clip out from the same shows the amt you submitted and not what you received. I then crosscheck yest only and i was shocked my slip shows the same amt which i wanted i.e. 7500/- but The machine gave me only 7000/-

                    This was a case in Sector 6 Makt CANARA BANK ATM counter at 3.05 pm. And surprisingly when I tried to contact the No given on the card (TOLLFREE) that doesnt exits and on trying hard when I somehow contacted the Canara Bank Branch of Dwarka sec 6, I was told to contact to my Branch of Janakpuri to lodge a complaint.

                    I wonder how can people rely on these nationalised banks, if they cheat and take benefits from their own ATM counters.

                      Dear Sir/ Madam,
                      I have a saving account number 14294 in Aligarh( Ramghat Road branch) since 1997. Though I am not using this account regularly from the last 2-3 years as i have moved to BHU Banaras for my studies, still the account is maintained by me and my family. yesterday i went to withdraw money from the account and i was informed that my account was temporarily defunct. i submitted an application but mistakenly forgot to mention my account number, dealing person did not take any notice of it and asked me to come next day. when i went today(16-5-08, Friday) i was VERY SARCASTICALLY informed about the mistake. The behavior of concerned person was very rude and only after my persistent inquiry he told me to come at 2 pm.i have already informed them that i am leaving on Sunday. when i again went at 3 pm after the lunch, bank person informed me very curtly that my work was still pending. throughout the incident the behavior of bank staff was very rude, insulting and non-cooperative. in general also the bank staff of this branch behave in a very offending and humiliating manner.

                        I had purchased Gold jewellery with a reputed jeweller in Chennai and decided to use my Canara Bank ATM cum Debit Card for payment. When the girl at the store swiped the card the transaction was declined saying that "the card was invalid". I rushed to the nearest Karur Vysya Bank ATM to withdraw cash the transaction was declined stating that the transaction could not be processed. I walked another half a kilometre and tried to withdraw cash from a Canara Bank ATM. I could neither withdraw cash nor see my balance. I at once called the toll free number at the back of the card. What the official said was shocking! He said that the Bank had to feed the balances to the ATMs in order for customers to withdraw cash. The bank had failed to do that! Today happens to be May day and therefore I could withdraw cash or use my debit card only tomorrow!!! He confirmed that the fault was with the branch and that he was helpless! I came back home and promptly searched the bank's website. (Can someone tell me an email ID for Canara Bank to whom I can address complaints?) I wasted an entire evening!!

                        I am unable to withdraw the money from ATM past 2 days. No one is attending the call at [protected] after receiving this number from canara bak.
                        I have also applied for netbanking, its really disheartening that after repaeted reminder no one is bothered to respond.

                        This is with reference to the above subjec, I would like to bring to your notice that, i have withdrawn a sum of Rs.700/- from Canara Bank ATM, Sector 1, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai on 03.05.08 around 7.10 p.m. I was surprised to know that the Rs. 500/- note which i got was fake.                         The canara bank sion branch manager is highly irresponsible .Normally it takes 3 days for the dd from foreign countries to transfered in the accounts here.It took more than 15 days for them even then it has not cleared.
                        even i had the evidence that the bank had received the dd.The manager is irresponsiblely saying that bank will receive many dds per day your's may be lost and till date he has not cleared the issue if we ask he will be giving many phone numbers to call and ask for reply

                        I am Prabhavathi.P I have account with Canara Bank Bommasandra Branch, my bank Account no is 1420.101.023807 & ATM Debit card no is [protected]. On 29th March 2008, in the evening time I went to SBI ATM near Shivajinar Bowring hospital I try to withdraw the amount Rs/-1000, I could get because of machine was hanging, again I tried to withdraw Rs/-800, second time also machine was hanging. On the same day finally I went to Canarabank ATM Shivaji nagar Bus stop and I could get the amount 1000.
                        In my statement amount drawn date is showing 31/03/08, actual amount drawn date is 29/03/08, from my account total Rs/-1850 (One thousand eight hundred and fifty) has been deducted with out any transaction.

                        Regarding this I gave return complaint to Bommasandra Bank Manager one-month back, till now no action has been taken.

                        I hold an account with Canara bank since last five years. A/C# 5339-NIOT Branch-Chennai. Few months back i used my ATM debit card for a transaction for an amount of INR 600.00 at a hospital using HDFC terminal. I was told by the hospital person that the transaction did not go through on the first attempt and i was adviced to use the card once again which i did thinking it was not authorised the first time. Later i ended up paying twice. Its been six months now every time i speak to them they do not seem to solve the issue. Rather i was directed to the hospital and the acquirer bank HDFC on whose terminal the card was used. But they directed us back to the account holding branch. When i spoke to them most recently i was told the same procedures to be followed again. And most recently funds have been missing from my account. I was told that an amount of INR 53.00 was withdrawan as cash from the atm at 4.00 pm on a given day this month. On that particular day i was at home and i usual dont use cards very often. I walk into the branch to withdraw cash. More over no Indian banks or ATM's allow cash to be withdrawn in such an odd amount. Even for Swipe Usage no one Accepts Card Card Below INR 100. When i questioned about that to them, they came back with an answer saying its your card and you have used it we only have an information about the time and the amount.

                        This is Purusothaman C I am running Saving AC in Canara Bank Tondiarpet branch from the date of 06 August 2010 my account no is SB[protected] Today I went to Tondiarpet branch to affix my photo into my bank passbook I have directly contacted the Senior Manager and he has given the proper response and he directed me properly He asked me to contact the Assistant Manager Mr Boss

                        When I approach him he has not given the proper response and used his words soo harsh Again I went to Senior Manager cabin and told him that he has not given the proper response and using his words soo harsh

                        After I have given my request with the Senior Manager he has asked me to pay the Rs 55 in the counter I went the cash deposit counter with my request letter and the chellan After he received the cash of Rs 55 he has entered in the system and he used his harsh words on me and said no need to stand here I do not know that person name who has received the cash from but I know the counter no That counter no is 3 and the time of my payment is 11 30 am 28 April 2010

                        But I really appreciate the Senior Manager commitment and duty conscious because he have resolved my request I am very with that

                        i am customer of canara bank for the past two years, ten days back i lost my debit card at some where, i went to chimiyanagar branch on 29.06.2010 and inform the details, they told me to give a letter regarding this and the same as been given to him, they told me come and collect the card tommrrow, the next day 30.06.2010 and went there and collect it and ask him how long it will be take activated, he said it will activated with-in four days, after four days 03.07.2010 i just check-it out whether my card is activated are not, its not activated, again i went to chimiyanagar branch on 05.07.2010 and ask about the details with branch manager, he simple said it will take another two days to get activate, he was not given a responce to the customer speaking were aashly, yet now my card not get activate, kindly check and do the needful.

                          My Father has given a Canara Bank cheque that needs to be paid to the SBI. The cheque amount is around 5000. The SBI bank representative called my father and told the cheque was returned by the Canara bank due to insufficient amount; However my father was very confident that he has around 20, 000 in his account. He went to the canara bank located at Saidapet, chennai (where he maintains his account) he asked the manager about this, when the manager checked the account of my father he himself found that there was more than sufficient amount available in my father's account and he also gave an lethargic reply asking my father to go and collect the cheque so that he will clear that. Is this the way a leading and prestigious canara bank train their employees to speak to the customers?

                          Canara Bank — Unnecessary ECS deduction from My Account

                          Hello,

                          I Mohd Shakeel, one of A/C holder in Canara Bank, (A/C No. 3329). I have an issue with Canara Bank that is not resolved by Canara Bank. However I've already complaint one year back in June 2006, Still they are not taking care off.
                          Canara Bank deducted ECS Rs. 2644/- thrice, one ECS amount has been refunded back to me but rest of two ECS (Rs.
                          5288) still pending and they are not paying it back.
                          I've complaint so many times to the Bank but they are saying that this is not their fault and told me to go to ICICI bank to resolve the issue, but my account is in Canara Bank and conveyed the same. But they haven't taken any action about this matter.
                          Please help me out and take any corrective action as soon as possible.

                          Sir,
                          I have SB account in Canara bank, kila masi street, Madurai. I feel always worst service from that bank. I have applied for ATM before two months. My card is in the bank but I can't get till date.
                          I want to to take DD for Rs.15, 000 on 12.06.08. I give the withdrawal slip of Rs.20, 000 and DD counterfoil of Rs.15000 to the counter and asked him to make adjustments. But counter asked me that he was not accepted to buy DD counterfoil and collect cash and get DD through another counter. He gives token no. 57 at 1pm.
                          I got withdrawal amount of Rs.20, 000 at 1.40PM.
                          Time taken for withdrawal of cash : 40 minutes.
                          After getting amount, I deposited Rs.15, 000 in DD counter at 1.50PM. I asked the DD counter to collect the DD. But the counter person said come 8PM to collect DD,
                          I really shocked and asked manager for delaying of this service. Then manager assured to come and collect the DD at 5PM. Eventhough I am not compromise my mind, I have seen servies board in Canara bank. In this board, time taken for DD is 30 Min.
                          But Time taken for that bank for issuing DD : 6 hours.
                          What is the service. I expect good response from you.

                          i have purchased a pay order on 7.05.2008 for rs.350 in favour of LIC of India by paying commission rs.68.00 which is very high at this bank other bank are cheap. unfortunately I have to cancel the said pay order again the bank has deducted Rs.112.00 as commission from rs.350. Just think what is bank in other word i can say the loot Bank.

                          1) I took a personal loan at Malleshwaram Branch. They are deducting EMI twice in month during November'08. Immediately I approached the Manager who was given response after 30 minutes. Simply he was talking with sombody by phone ( Personal). His comments were...

                          If deduct twice. It will be in my account only.
                          What is your problem?.
                          Better to close loan as eraly as possible.
                          This is the attitude of Canara Bank Manager. Ofcource I gave nice reply to him.
                          2) I have withdrawn of Rs. 5000/- from ATM( Canara Bank) when I required money an emergency, Near double Road, R.R. Nagar, Bangalore on 31/12/2008 at 6.47 PM. I got 9 nos Rs.500/- notes & 5 nos Rs. 100/- notes. Out of 9 nos of Rs.500/- denominations, I got 3 damaged notes. Immediately I brought this information to notice the customer care who directed me to contact the concerned nearest Bank of ATM.
                          I apraoched the Manager of R.R. Nagar Branch around 12.30 PM ( working hour). He refused to give replace the notes on that day & commented that it is imposible to get such notes from ATM & what is the proof you got same from ATM. Where my salary acount deposited in same bank and also have a ATM card, he should trust the customer. He discussed with his higher officials for one hour & informed me to bring copy of ATM slip & letter. By the time all this has finalised the bank transaction was closed. I was told to come during office hours & has not willing to take the letter also.
                          It caused unnessary neusence for no fault of customer. Uploading of notes in to the ATM should have been checked & numbers or sequnce should have been noted doawn. It may be possible that fake notes must have been loaded in Canara Bank ATM also. Henceforth customer will afraid to use Canara Bank ATM.
                          Because of no fault of mine, I am running around the Bank by wasting of all my valuable official time to get the replacement of the currency. Concerned officials may instructed to it that such type of things should not happened in future. I should get back myy money otherwise I will initiate legal action against Canara Bank.

                          This is to inform you that my Late father Sh J D Kapoor was having a Saving Bank account no 3698 in Canara Bank at there Nehru Nagar branch Ghaziabad.On dated 23.2.2005 a DD NO 097655 was made in favour of Magna Publishing co.payable at Mumbai for Rs 3600. The DD seems to be misplaced in transit as i never received any goods from Magna Publishing co.I am asking the bank to let me know the fete of the above mentione DD as to whome it has been credited but im not getting any reply either from Ghaziabad/Delhi and Head office of Canara Bank.

I was also using your netbanking facility for a couple of months, my login was Account locked for user id VINOD1969 last month due to my wrongpassword entry. Since i went physically to my thousandlights branch and wrote a letter about this incident and submitted to the branch manager lastmonth 3rd week. The staff who is handling netbanking told me they have to inform H.O, Bangalore to release the lock in my netbanking Account.Since today it was not released and i couldnot access. I visited thrice to the branch and reported to the same staff on this concern and she told they have already sent a mail on this matter.Please reply me about the status on this issue since iam not able to do transaction because of nonavailibility of fundtransfer facility from your bank to my other bank Accounts. The staff are not able to give me proper explaination of netbanking facility and status of my netbanking account.Pls look into this matter and do the needful at the earliest.

                          I suggest that you immediately lodge a complaint in the consumer forum, Mylapore against the bank for the wrongful dishonour of cheque.
                          I have already lodged a case in the consumer forum Mylapore against Canara Bank, Arumbakkam for their wrongful dishonouring my cheque of Rs.730/- issued to Hathway Internet even though I had more than 20 thousand rupees in my account at that time.
                          The consumer forum has directed the bank to pay me a compensation of Rs.50, 000/- towards the mental agony they have caused to me as well as to pay my legal expenses.
                          So dont delay. File your complaint in the consumer court. For any guidance you may call me at [protected].

                          Last monday (i.e 11.05.09) i went Canara bank, thekkatte branch from Mangalore to Thekkatte (around 90 kms) regarding enquiry of housing loan i met Bank Manager Mr.Vishwanath, when i enter his cabin he is talking nonsense he is telling he dont have time for given information about housing loan, i told him when i have to come but his reply dont know... i convience him lot but he is not give.

                          Sir please tell me we cant take housing loan in your bank, for your kind information i am working in Larsen &Toubro Ltd company. And one more thing i have alredy taken One lakh loan in same bank if you want check up my repayment i will give my Account number SB A/C No. 3603. every month i am paying installment correctly.

                          Is this is way of talking customers, Bank manager will not giving loan in his pocket na why Managers are talking rudely with customers. Is this the way canara bank train their employees to speak to the customers?

One illitrate person applied for DD (challan filled by me) she rejected the challan stating that he did not mention the exchange amount. After that I filled the exchage amount. After that also he rejected the challan and told the person to go to other counter. Secondly one more teller told to a customer stating that we cannot honour a cheque for Rs.5000/-. Teller told that to the customer to get the money from the ATM. The person told that she applied for ATM card three weeks before. Is this way Canara Bank is working.

                          In my (St.Mary's road) branch all are very polite. Why can't this be in other Branch also.

                          I Mr.Vishwanath s.naik open Joint account on 6/04/2009.In application forms i filled all information including internet bank service, debit card facility. After one month I received Debit Card. They were not taken my specimen signture on specimen signature cards. They serching my application here and there after one hour they found.

                          One lady clerk argue with me regarding minimum balance. She cannot issue cheque book because of minimum balance. So far I could not received cheque book. What can I do tell me and how can I continued my account.

The same day Canara Bank has credited the amount and returned the amount due to Name Mismatch. I enquired with account opening branch, they informed us that we have to ask ECS department. We do not know whom we should contact in ECS department. Anyhow if possible I request you to kindly confirm us why the amount is returned. If we know the reason we can contact our Provident Fund department.
                          My A/c. No.[protected], I have received ECS remittance for Rs.20600 & 5400 from Provident Fund A/c. The same day on 19.08.2009 amount has been credited to my account and returned the same by mentioning name mismatch. I enquired account opening branch, they informed us the transaction is made by ECS department. I would like to know the reason, why the amount has been debited, so that we can contact Provident Fund department.                           I, K Balram working in BSNL Hyd. applied for a takeover home loan. After repeated perusual of all my documents the processing branch(Bashherbagh) Manger assured me that my entire amount as reflected on my Foreclosure statement will be given as loan. On assurance of all my eligibility conditions by the Manager I got legal verification and valuation done for which I spent an mount of Rs.4000/-

                          The mangaer at at Adarsh nagar Home loans branch after scrutinizing my application says that I am eligible for only the 80% of registered value. which happened to be almost 1.5 lac less than the our standing balance as per my Foreclosure statement.

                          The property value as per valuation (Presently) Rs.20, 00, 000/-

                          The amount as per Foreclosure statement Rs.6, 75.000/-

                          The register document value as on July 2006 Rs.6, 29, 000/-

                          The gross salary per month Rs.23, 235/-

                          Take home salary PM Rs.16, 000/-

                          Now the branch manager at adarsh nagar says he can only give 80% of 6, 29.000 ie 5.35 L which is almost short of 1.4 L .

                          I inquired about the criteria for take over loans from SBI, LIC and Syndicate Banks all of them said they would consider only the present property value and our standing balance provided I am eligible as per my pay and perks.

                          First of all I would never like to object to their criteria. without proper information why the processing branch Manager (Basheer bagh) happen to give me wrong information and made me to spend rs.4000/-. Had he told me about my loan eligibility prior to valuation report and legal report I would have decided whether to go for a take over loan or not.

                          Now I request the highest of highest of authorities to rectify this criteria issue and give me the loan as per other branches. Had I not incurred the legal and valuation charges of Rs.4000/-, I would have happily changed over tho other branch being unmindful of spending around Rs800/- on getting ECs and on photocopies of documents.

                          Hence I request the authorities either refund my charges of Rs.4000/- or process my loan.

                          Canara Bank — False Money Transactions

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I would like to lodge a complaint against my bank, ie; Canara bank, Jadhavpur Branch, Kolkata. The bank is harassing us for the past 1 year by deducting the running house loan premiums from my account as well as, from my mother's account simultaneously. Whereas, a year ago, a standing instruction had been given to the bank authorities to deduct the premiums only from my mother's account. But, every month they deduct the amount from mine, as well as, my mother's account. Since last year, we had given them 4-5 reminders, but nothing has been done so far.

                          Last month, when we insisted, they had confirmed that they will be issuing a letter to us confirming that henceforth, no amount will be deducted from my account & all the extra amount that they had deducted will be adjusted & we will have to make no further payment till December'09. The next premium will be payable in Jan 2010.

                          However, its about 20 days now but we have not received any letter from them, even after a couple of reminders. Meanwhile, they had again deducted the premium from my account 9 times this month resulting a huge amount missing from my account.

                          We are simply disgusted & frustrated with their services & would like to report a forgery case against this bank.

                          If anything else needs to be done from our end, kindly let us know.

                          The trip was very pleasant except for one huge disappoint at the end. One of items is STOLEN from my checked-in luggage.

                          The DVR, power cord and remotes are removed from the baggage, while leaving behind the hard paper box. Thus this is obviously an act of stealing.

                          I had sent Rs.2500/- through NEFT process but when I checked my account details I found that bank has deducted Rs.5012/- including charge for same transection.that means it has been double deducted.Again when I sent Rs.10000/- & checked my account details I found its charge has been deducted twice i.e Rs.12/- insteed of Rs.6/-.I had reported to authorised bank staff for the same he asked it will be returned to you don't worry but till now my money does not returned.Bank has to returned me Rs.2512/- in my account.                           Better the GOI disposes off the bank and throw all its employees into the road.

                          me also have a mis behaviour experience from can bank employees ie, .On monday 10/01/2011 me approached a glass cabin cash counter in the Konathakunnu branch to withdraw 50000 rs from my accnt with the cheque. the lady in the counter replied me to go to the metal net seperated cash counter to withdraw money she also asked the cashier in the metal net cabin whether he can gave money of 50000rs on cheque he replied yes .I approached the gentle man in the metal net seperated cash counter for my money .After standing half an hour infront of his cabin he is not even caring me and gave cash to the other peoples who came after me, by losing patience i ask him why you are not giving money to me then he replied i only accept the money ie, money with pay in slips. but i saw he is giving money to the cheque holders . then he shouted me i will not give money to you, who told you to came here then i approached lady officer who guide me to the cashier and asked then i retuned to the metal net cash counter and demand money towards my cheque.then he replied i wont give money from here, me got angry and questioned whether you are giving money from your pocket.After this an another lady officer asked me to submit my cheque to her counter and gave money.the assistant manager in the branch also mishehaved me in this issue.pls kindly take remedies to stop these type of incidents .alot of customers having this type of misbehaviour incidents from the employees of canara bank. i dont know the name of the cashier also the assistant mngr in the branch my money transaction time is between 1:30 PM and 2 PM . I think the cashier got angry because i questioned him why u are not caring me .

                          This has reference to your letter No.LOAN ACCOUNT NO. :[protected] dated 16/3/11 received by me today.

                          I am very much thankful to you that a loan amount of Rs.4 lac was granted to me and credited to my Savings Bank Account No.[protected] with an understanding that my EMI would be Rs.2070/- per lac i.e. on Rs. 4 lacs EMI was Rs.8280/- whereas you have directly deducted from my salary Rs.8,300/- and when I objected I have been told that the excess amount of Rs.1,200/- deducted extra will be reduced in my last EMI. In the contrary you have raised a demand of Rs.4,833/- now mentioning as Reminder No.3.

                          My outstanding was divided into 60 Equated Monthly Installments which has no impact of increase or decrease at a later stage as we have been told by your officials at the time of disbursement of loan.

                          Though, you have deducted directly from my employer all the 60 installments as agreed stated from 6th February, 2006 to 6th January, 2011 and no further demand was raised by you as there was no outstanding left no further demand raised verbally or in writing earlier of receipt of the above said letter I enquired from your bank officials about the present demand of Rs.4,833/- at Phone No.[protected] at 5.39 p.m. today.

                          I failed to understand why you want to keep the pot boiling unnecessarily by making such baseless allegations which are fabricated with malafide intention to charge extra money beyond agreed terms of 60 instalments and when no demand was raised earlier even, otherwise people will start perceiving that Canara Bank is a dishonest bank to deal with.







                          Just to close the chapter I am sending a BLANK Crossed Cheque in favour of Kulvinder Singh Loan Account No.[protected] dul;y signed by me is attached herewith with and request to issue me the following ;

                          1. To issue a NO DUE CERTIFICATE.

                          Canara Bank — Refund sent by SPICE JET NOT RECEIVED

                          Sir,
                          I had booked a Air Ticket on SPICE JET Airlines on 6th of April,2011 and paid by using my debit Card and had to cancell one ticket . The refund amount is ( As per Spice jet customer care mail) had sent to the Bank(Canra bank) on the same Debit card reference on April 28,2011 . But after somany complaints to Canra Bank, Approched the local branch and also at their HO and Dr.card section I have not received.
                          At bank's Dr.Card section customer care person talk to me last week and was so rude to talk. I told her (I don't wish to mention her name at the movement) that I will approach Consumer form if I will not get the refund amount debited into my account, she said I CANNOT DO ANYTHING WHEREVER YOU WANT GO and just put the phone. This is the worst experience from a Customer care person of CANARA BANK I got. Now till date I have not received the same amount.
                          Can, please advise what to do??

                          After reading all these I am not the one a victim of Canara Bank..
                          I guess it is their Corporate culture.

                          I am filing a Claim on my passed away Mother's account... It has taken more than 3 years now and still Canara bank is reluctant to complete the process.. I've seen 2 different mangers in the past 3 years and every time they say a different answers.. being a NRI visiting once a year on vacation. I pretty much spent the vacation at the bank with no results... All the employees and Manager are so rude and basic courtesy is at questions... Can't really believe how disrespectable they are to customers in this time and age.

                          Branch is at Nazareth, Tuticorin District, Tamilnadu. (CNRB0001113)

                          This year, during the first few days I was preparing all the Applications again and submitted. The manager asked for a copy of the death certificate. The same was provided and on the 2 days before my travel he dropped the bomb saying that he needed the original death certificate…. So pissed off and a big argument occurred.. I then had to return back to the house took the original cop y and went back the following day.. now he compared the original documents with the copy that I provided earlier.. there was a smudge on the duplicate copy during the Xerox process and the manager questioned there is a difference on the copies and just tried to drag…. So I said, take the original copy, but he stupidly asked for the original document of the smudged copy. Till now I haven’t gotten the Account Closed and received the Money.

                          Like me many Customers are crying with this horrible customer services and many have cancelled their accounts and gone with other bancks.

                            I had availed ECS for BSNL bill payment from Canara Bank, Villivakkam (Chennai). It so happened that my telephone connection was disconnected on 13 Feb 2008, and on enquiry I came to know that the payment had not been sent by the Bank (Canara Bank) the month Jan 2008. The due date for payment was 10 Feb 2008. The bank some how has been giving irresponsible replies - like the manager in charge was out-of-station, etc. for my non-payment of bill. I am really pained by this act of Bank and would like to know what can be done in this regard.

                            I am a defencepensioner drawing my pension through canara bank sulthanpet branch palakkad and my a/c no. is 12902. My pension payment order isPPO/NO.S/C2886/84.Iam drawing the pension from 1984.Iam a group 1 SEARGENT with 16.5 years of service and as per the pension chart of cda available at the bank my basic pension is Rs 1857p.m.where as iam getting only RS1738/as my basic pension.This is after the 5th pay commission of 2006.Somehow this was not noticed by me earlier and this may be a clerical mistake of the concerned clerck.But now the branch authorities wanted an instruction from the top for correcting the mistake since it was done by someone else earlier.Kindlyissue necessary instruction to the branch for payment of my correct pension please.

                            I wanted to Complain against Nalini Sharma who is a representative of your bank for the Vasant Vihar New Delhi Branch. She does not know how to speak with customers and behaved very badly with me as well as with another customer of yours. She treated us in such a way as if we are her servants. It is not the first time I am facing this issue with this lady but before as well. She does not know how to speak . I went to open an account with your bank and after taking all the detailed information from the representatives regardimg the documents that I will have to submit. First of all she insulted me and my friend, who is also a customer of your bank and then she refused. She treated us very badly . She doesnot have etiquetts and behaved like an illeterate person . Is this the way a customer should be treated? I will never bank with you and I want stern actions to be taken against her.

                            I A.K.Murgesh I have account with Canara Bank Kalayanagar Branch, my bank Account no is[protected] & ATM Debit card no is [protected]. On 25th September 2008, in the evening time I went to Andra Bank ATM - Solapur. I tryed to withdraw the amount Rs/-12000, I couldn't get cash because of machine was hanging and said transaction Declained, When Enquied the Security in ATM he said only Maximium of Rs 10, 000/ is possible. Again I tried to withdraw Rs/10, 000, and the same was accepted and collected the cash.

As we are far away and now I am starting to leave this country on emergency issues. I cannot guess the status, I fear if there is any problem with that credit I may not claim this amount.

                            Possibly I need a concrete reply about the status of credit to my email.

                            I Ramesh holding N.R.E account canara bank siwan bihar india.I got problem from August 2009.every month my salary creditin my account by my company . From August i got mproblem. company says isend money in y our same account. bank is not receiving phone.one day some person attend phone &says your money not yet received. and bank become cbs. branch. they not send me any iformation.How i complain with customer care. Because that is bank reponsibility to inform their customer. If they change something. now iam suffering tothis problem
