Dear Sir,
Request you to kindly go through the following email sent by me to Canara Bank Branch 2678, MIDC Branch, Andheri East, Mumbai - 400093 on 7th September, 2021. The mail is self explanatory. Ms Rashmi is one of the Managers at the above branch with whom I first lodged a written complaint. Thereafter, I sent her the following email by attaching the letter sent by HDFC to me with a copy to Mr Amit Badaya who is the Branch Manager.
I tried to call you at number[protected], but it’s only ringing with no response.
I have met both Mr Amit & Ms Rashmi at least three times since 7/9/21 but they have not resolved my complaint so far.
In fact when I met Mr. Amit Badaya last time, he was very rude to me when I asked for the update on my complaint as he had not reversed the amount charged by HDFC Ltd. to me as additional interest & penalty for EMI ECS that did get processed on 5/9/21 due to the bank unilaterally freezing/blocking my account.
I am a Sr. citizen. Instead of being compassionate towards me & my complaint, Mr Amit shot back “ I have raised the query to my concerned department. Unless they reply me, I cannot do anything”. If you want you can complain against me”
I told him it’s more than 12 weeks since I lodged the complaint. Why should I suffer and be penalised for no fault of mine. He was not ready to listen. Imagine a Branch Manager who probably is less than 40 years of age speaking to a Sr Citizen customer of 61 years in age in this manner.
I request you to please intervene in this matter and kindly credit the additional amount of interest & penalty charged by HDFC Ltd. back to my account.
Hoping for a quick resolution to my complaint.
