Canara Bank — forcible deduction of sms alert charges?

Dear sir, i am 83 years old lady having three savings account nos.[protected], 964 and 59080 with your mayur vihar ph. Two delhi 110091 branch jointly with my family members since more than 25 years. I or any other member of my family have never asked for or consented for message alert service and strongly feel that such charges are not leviable.
I approached the branch manager with a written request to reverse the debits. To my utter surprise, i was informed that these charges are compulsory and cannot be reversed to which i fail to agree.
It is, therefore, requested that the matter may please be got examined at your end and advise the branch to reverse the charges under advice to me. Thanking you.
