Canara Bank — Refund initiated by Amazon, not received in bank account | |||||
I have cancelled the order which i placed on amazon.in for which i paid ₹273 from my amazon gift card, and remaining ₹1526 from my canara bank debit card. As soon as i cancelled the order, i received a mail from amazon issuing that they have processed the refund. And i got ₹273 back instantly in my amazon gift card balance. 5 business days are deadline for this type of refund, which were over on 7th july, 2017. Today is 9th july and i still haven't got refund, when i contacted amazon, they mailed me a refund reference number:[protected], and told me that i should contact my bank, as they have processed refund, and it is not a problem from their end. When i contacted canara bank customer service, they told me that i should write a public grievance on canarabank.com. I wrote, but nothing came from their end. Then, i contacted branch manager of canara bank dabra branch, he told me that reference number given to me by amazon is not there in their system, as it has to be the number by amazon's client bank.
