Canon — Genuine Cartridge Not giving even print out.

Hi, I have bought a genuine cartridge for my laser printer LBP 2900. The problem im facing is that "White streaks appear on the printed paper (The print appears faint or uneven)" Please let me know how to rectify this issue. Thanks.
