The amount was supposed to be auto debited and there was sufficient balance in the account. However, due to some expired token (as informed by the customer care rep), the payment did not go through. I was informed that the bank would have sent me a notification on this, however, I never received any notification. I get a message to make the payment or I will be charged the late payment fee. However, after making the payment, I realize that the late payment fee was already charged. I call Capital Float and was informed that the last date to make the payment was yesterday. However, they sent me a message a day late for the due payment. I was informed that they cannot refund the late payment fee as the payment was already made and I should have called them earlier. This is utter nonsense and they are conning customers and charging late payment fee deliberately. Was this information helpful? |
