I purchased a Tata Tiago from Cars24 on May 11th. I am based in Gurgaon, but the car was UP-registered. The salesperson, Mr Ravi Taluja, promised a seamless RC transfer process and assured me that he will handle it on his end.
More than 90 days have passed now and I have not received a satisfactory response from Cars24 - they keep asking for more and more time and the customer care executives are unable to provide me with any solution. They keep telling me that the "care-off peshi" is pending, but Mr Ravi Taluja had assured me that he will handle the care-off peshi himself and put in some address in Ghaziabad. He has now stopped picking my calls.
Apart from the frustration, it is also highly risky to drive a car with another RC, as the insurance transfer is also pending for the same reason.
