[Resolved] Cars24 Services — party peshi money not released

I sold my car Indica Vista in Phase-2, Noida branch in April-2019. While transferring the money, team told me that they will hold INR 10, 000 for party peshi in RTO office and once I appear in RTO office and sign the transfer documents the amount will be released in couple of hours. I did went to RTO on the scheduled time on 20th May and it's been exactly one month, I have not received my full money. After waiting for almost 10 days, I went to the branch and they assured me of resolving this ASAP, then on the same day they released half amount and no details provided. Since, then I have been chasing Mr. Sankalp the manager of that branch but to no avail.. This is a serious fraud Cars24 is doing with the car sellers just opposite to what that ad says that in 1 visit you sell your car. I have already visited 3 times and still chasing...

Car24 is a fraud company. They hold back amount of Party Peshi and then they dont pay back the money and give all kind of excuses. I have raised complains to them and tweet and dropped several mails but they are is no mood of resolve it so I have decided to file and FIR and also put a case forward to Consumer Forum. I am surprised to see that this fraud company is getting investors.
They give me excuse that my number was not reachable when I was called for Party Peshi :)

I have sold my Car to CAR24 - Kolkata in Feb 2023 and as I read here in various complaints they told me also that they are holding back Rs.10000 which will be released after party peshi. First they kept sending me messages that they are unable to connect with me. When I wrote to their executive Mr Panchanan he did not reply instead now there are calls from CS agents out of West Bengal and they ask me to go for Peshi in Bankura RTO which is 5-6 hrs journey from Kolkata. Today they have sent a message saying they will forfeit my 10000.00 as I am not going to Bankura.

Having read all these complaints I understand this is a scam run by CAR24. I have sent WhatsApp to their Executive Mr Panchanan but he too has not replied.

I will wait for this week and lodge an FIR for the same next week.

I have sold my car to cars 24, at the time of selling my car their relationship manager gave me in written on whatsapp that my partypeshi will be done on video call, then only I agreed to sell my car to cars24, because I live in mumbai and for party peshi I had to go to uttar pradesh, after that I made many calls for partypeshi on video call, but cars24 customercare and their channel partner made fraud with us and at last we were told that they will not give my 10000 rs because I did not reach on party peshi.during this time I did not receive any call for partypeshi through video call.ti
So totally fraud company, never ever sell your car here.
