Ceat Tyres — Warranty Claim

I bought a CEAT tyre (Ceat Zoom Rad 130/70 R17 62H Tubeless Bike Tyre, Rear) for my Apache RTR 200 CC bike in September 2021. Now, the tire has multiple cracks and tears even though it's only been two years. I tried reaching out to CEAT's customer care, but I haven't received a response. I also attempted to claim the warranty, but they rejected my request. They advertise a 3-year unconditional warranty, but they're not helping me now. Please assist me with this issue. I've no other options available for the same.

subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Defective Tyres Purchased on 21.04.2024

Dear Sir,
concerning the above, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent purchase of tyres from your company. Approximately less than 1 month on 21.04.2024 I acquired a pair of tyres Size: [165/70/14 from [Retailer Name GURU KIRPA TYRES DEALER Location E-9, Pandav Nagar, Patpar Ganj, Delhi -11009. Mobile NO. [protected] Unfortunately, these tyres have proven to be highly problematic.

Shortly after purchasing the tyres, I encountered multiple issues. Firstly, both tyres had side punctures, necessitating immediate repair. Regrettably, I had to incur an additional expense of Rs.500/- for the repair work. Despite the repairs, one of the tyres is still experiencing air leakage also in another tyre, indicating a fundamental defect in its construction.

The defects and subsequent inconvenience I have experienced with these tyres are unacceptable. Not only have I already incurred unexpected expenses for repairs, but I am also facing ongoing safety concerns due to the persistent air leakage issue. As a loyal customer, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of quality control and assurance in your products.

In light of these circumstances, I urgently request that you replace both of the defective tyres with new ones of the same model and specifications. Furthermore, I expect reimbursement for the Rs.500/- I spent on repairing the side punctures, as this expense was incurred due to the tyres' inherent defects.

I implore you to prioritize this matter and take swift action to rectify the situation. Please provide guidance on the necessary steps I need to take to facilitate the replacement process and reimbursement for the repair expenses.

I observed that there are no mentioned tyres Sr. Numbers and date of manufacturing and date of years. I am not aware of this, and how to check the tyres date of years. I was surprised the valuable goods were not mentioned on the bill that the dealer issued to me. it is too neglectful of the company, what are the dealers selling the goods.

I trust that you will address this issue with the urgency and attention it deserves, demonstrating your commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
