[Resolved] CESC (Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation) — Payment made Twice by Net Banking | |||
Rahul Sen & Mahua Sen (Sengupta), Consumer No. [protected] On 20/6/2014 I tried to pay Rs. 3286.49, Bill for June, 2014 by means of net banking through ICICI Bank. On my first attempt after payment button is clicked I encountered a Internet connection failure page. After waiting for some time when I did not receive any payment confirmation message on my mobile I attempted to make the payment again and that time the payment was successful. I contacted ICICI bank and asked them to debit the failed transaction amount to my account but they informed me that both the transactions amounting to Rs. 3286.49 were successful and the payment has gone to CESC. The reference number of the transaction given to me by ICICI bank is MICI[protected]. I am expecting that CESC should adjust the extra payment with my future bills.
