We recently used facilities of Chennai Packers and Movers for shifting from Hyderabad to Chennai. We had chosen them as we had a pleasant experience while moving from Chennai to Hyderabad but this time ensured I would never use them again.

1. During moving and packing even though AC was itemized transport of vehicle was itemized nobody on ground was aware of those items. They arranged people only after we reminded people in Hyderabad even though we had made payments and Chennai office was aware of this. At one point they even asked can we pick up the car next day but we were flying out and had to push back

2. After moving the goods were just dumped by the guys in the new apartment. Boxes were not handled properly. Roughly pushing everything, and they spoke rudely to my 60+ year old parents.

3. The people refused to put the beds back together and we had to call home office to get a carpenter the next day to put the beds together even though it is usually immediately done by the packers.

4. AC installation was pre-paid and the guys who came in said they cannot use any of the copper wires and had to buy wires worth 11K entirely new for installation. For the reasons why the existing wires cannot be used they mentioned the wires should not have been rolled and if they use that it will cause finching /breakage and cannot use and he does not weld. We had asked him to go and had to argue so much for them to agree to refund the amount back. They refused to accept it was not transported properly and why we had to use brand new wires and did not account for damage either.

Finally we called aC installation from the company itself and they were able to use the existing wires without any issues and ACs are working perfectly. This is either because of attempt to make more money or less than competent installation people.

It has been one week and we still have not received 3000 refund amount and have followed up twice. Their reason is their bank transfer did not go through and if we want we can collect the money in person 60 km away.

After the money transfer it has been just disrespectful talking. We are looking into legal action that we can take on this.

While booking. Booked a separate vehicle for my house shifting and paid it full. But in between another house shifting was shared with us in the same vehicle without our knowledge and when tried to get explanations no one responded back properly..

Moving to a new city is not an easy task for everyone, you can move stress free if you go with best packers and movers in pune. Based on my experience cargo balaji packers and movers pune is one of the cheapest packers and movers in pune.

I have transferred a activa scooter and couple of cartons with dress and books with Chennai Packers. But they are not delivering it. I suspect they may use my vehicle for illegal activities.

I need your help in resolving the issue which was created by damages done to my goods while in transit from chennai to hyderabad by chennai packers and movers.
I was been told to me that my good will not be shifted to other vehicle in transit but this promise was not kept and everything was thrown upside down to another vehicle.

Most of the my major furniture was damaged here and there.
I have been following continuously on emails since then but with no proper response.

I am expecting from chennai packers and movers to pay for the repairs.
I have got it estimated for repairs and it is costing around 7000 rupees.

Horrible experience, they took 5000 to pick up my bike chennai to mettupalayam. they assured with in 4 days but after 15 days, it came to coimbatore. No one has delivered to my home, they kept 60km away from my home in small, they say if you wish you come take. Even I went and took my bike but my helmet has changed. My helmet cost 3000rs, but I came old used some worst helmet. They are not responding. These are fake and worst packers. I think they are smugglers to steal my helmet.

As packing services, you would be solely responsible for handing over the boxes safely to customers. As we have already sent the damaged items pics i. E; the certificates and even the entire clothes in that particular box completely got wet due to draining in rain. And got color stains on all the clothes. We attached those pics too.
Please take necessary action and pay the penalty legally for the carelessness of packing the items end to end.

They have packed my household things from banglore to pondicherry no update after that. When called no response from their end. They do have branch in pondicherry but no response there also. Not sure when i will get my things back.

So many complaints raised, Still why you are allowing this kind of company.
An item: teapoy was missed in the package. When I tried calling them no response. Please help me to get the item from them...They are really cheaters as per their reply.

This is with respect to the shipment of a refrigerator from Chennai to Bangalore. The shipment was picked on 6th July, 2020 but till date we do not have any status of where the fridge is.

No one is answering the call and the worst part is no one even understands basic English.

I am calling out names in specific so that action can be taken on this.

This is the kind of service of they r giving them they better close their company.

We have faced tremendous stress because of this company .

We engaged the packers to shift 2 houses. They commited to do it in one go

Complaints
1) They arrived at 2 PM instead of 10 Am
2) They refused to do 2 houses
3) Brought a smaller truck instead of a regular interstate truck
4) Got an uncovered truck
5) Did not use packing materials like bubble wrap or thin film on wooden furniture
6) Used brown tape instead
7) promised to do shifting of the other house on the next day.. but never turned up
8) refused to answer the phone calls
9) refused to issue a bill for shifting

Damages due to the above
1) Wooden furniture with severe scratch marks
2) Brown tape marks on all furniture
3) Dining table chair is torn
4) expensive table lamp broken
5) Had to leave the things in the second house and leave for Bangalore ( due to epass dates)
6) Unable to claim shifting charges in office as bill was not given

Worst packers ever!!

As a customer they didn't know the way of wise packing. I too packed that way. Once i called them for shifting, they looked up and took the things with our rough packings. Said to pack the things at their despatch office. Things will not be received more than a week.. But they couldn't inform the status of things, we only called often. They talking very rude and their customer care people's do the same. They delivered the items with our rough packings only... Very very worst experience i have ever seen... I need to give a aware to others don't prefer cpm company for shifting things...

We have sent the products from chennai to calicut on 06/01/2020. We haven't received the products yet. Customer service call response was very rude. We didn't get any communication on this. Now we are waiting for the products now. They promised that, the delivery will be with 5 to 6 days. But it's going to be 12days. Sorry to say that, we won't prefer their service.

Dear Sir/Madam,
As I have booked in Chennai Packers and movers on Oct 9th 2019 from Hosur-Tamilnadu to Pune-Maharashtra. Mr. Vijaykumar from your Bangalore office was taken care this shifting. He quoted Rs.13000/-. I paid initial advance as Rs. 1000/- on Oct 6th 2019 and balance on Oct 9th 2019 while taking material. All this transactions were done through online banking (Union Bank of India-Kolathur, Chennai)
I have some problems faced during this shifting,
1, As I was not explained properly about the cost and GST details for bills. Now I need bill to submit in my company to claim it. Mr. Vijaykumar is asking to pay extra for the GST.
2, The packaging was really bad, only the fridge and washing machine was wrapped with plastic cover. Other boxes were not wrapped at all. Because of this, it got wet during the rains. Two Bed’s were wrapped, it broken. Bed got wet in rains. As I was not explained on the packing methods and types with costs differences. Otherwise I would have preferred all wrapping of plastic cover. It is who’s responsible. The company has to inform us on this or not??
3, My bike is totally damaged, As this was also not wrapped properly and not used bubble packing also. Am attaching pictures for all the problems.
- Handle bar has bend
- Accelerator handle have damaged
- Front brake lever damaged
- Center stand have broken
- Engine self-start switch broken and jammed(I can’t start bike now)
4, For unloading the items in Pune, I was charged Rs.500/-, As in earlier discussion they said. All together only Rs.13000/-.
5, For loading also they charged Rs300/- from my father at Hosur.
6, For loading in Hosur, Only one man was there out of that. My father who is 68yrs old have helped to load and pack the things.
7, For unloading only two people were there, I did personally shifting things from basement to 5th floor along with two other persons.
8, Some boxes were opened. I’m still not sure. What things I have lost.
9, I don’t understand one thing, Shifting means it should be one vehicle moving things from current location and end destination. But why you have used two to three vehicles for shifting. This way it damaged my things.
10, I was not told about any insurance plans and their needs in shifting things.
11, The vehicle was not closed one, Even they didn’t cover fully with tarpaulin during rains.
12, The shifting was totally unprofessional way and not satisfied at all.

People who want's to lose your patient i would suggest to try cpm - chennai packers and movers (Kolathur). One of the worst experience i had with them. They will pick your calls and do proper response before the payments, after that no one is responsible about your valuable things. When i try to move things from chennai to hyderabad the quality of cardboard box they used for packing is really worst. As per discussion they agree to pack with 2*2 cardboard box, however, they will bring very smaller size cardboard which is not support to pack your valuable things. Then they will charge you extra due to increase of box counts.

One of my valuable things (Bed) they spoiled with water, they don’t care about our product safety. They simply told it's because of sudden rain, they will cover with low quality wrapper.
Also, one of my product was missing since they don't have proper cardboard to pack our things. They simply covered with brown tape and missed in delivery. I believe except the gate keeper, i spoken with everyone from cpm to find out my products. After investigation and losing my patients i finally found it but it’s take two weeks, it's being two weeks still my product is not received.

When i try to escalate the issue with the respective manager (Madhu) he never pick up calls, even when you try to explain the issue in message he never turned up.
I will not suggest to anyone try in cpm from chennai kolathur and will give *zero rating* for the service provided.

Transportation services utilised to Chennai. No proper communication regarding reaching, unloading time. Charged for loading unloading packing, un-packing and proper placing. Collected tips on demand. Unloading/loading persons seperate. Handling improper. Keeping boxes packing with mixing different items.
Broken, not unpacked, not kept things proper

Booked this so called packers and movers for moving things from vadalur to chennai.

1. I was told that they will come for packing on 29/5 5am. And came around 11 am

2. Left vadalur @12.30 pm and asking for full money 22k. The mistake we made is having the trust and paid it.

3. Driver informed that he reached chennai @4.30 pm.

4. Till 11.30 pm the things was not delivered. Stating they they are looking for labours to come.. For 7 hours.

5. These entire 7 hours we are being said they will deliver in 1 hr and 2 hrs. Holding us from not doing any work.

6. No one was picking my calls, just the driver is picking and saying he is waiting for helpers to come.

7. Finally we asked to deliver on 31/5 as we are not available on 30/5

8. Then the driver arrange some other helpers and just drop the things and went.

9. Now all the things are unpacked and the furniture are in dismantled condition. I need to look for some one to clear this mess.

I registered moving to Coimbatore from Chennai with full truck load.

1. They were not on time for pickup and worst coordination
2. Packing crew was good but the loading person has no idea how to keep things in order
3. They committed to deliver by morning, but even after the next day night things were not delivered
4. Once it loaded they will say if you don't pay in full your delivery will be delay so I paid in full
5. I didn't get any tracking details and if you call the people they won't pickup.
6. If you call from some other number they pickup and they said between 10-11 am, then they said 1 PM and then they said 3 PM and finally they said 9 PM and now it is 9:15 PM and still didn't get my things.
7. When they called the driver in Coimbatore he said he is dropping a two-wheeler on the way, remember they said the price is for full truck load, but they used the remaining space to load another delivery and also delayed my delivery because of that.

Here are some of the names from Chennai customer service, stay away and run from these people and never do business with them.

If you can do something about these guys, I will more than happy to show my proof.

These type of people should go out of business and please don't give business.

I have send the washing machine and two other things through chennai packers and movers on 5th march and they accept to deliver the product by 9th march. But still the product is not delivered. I have called the custormer care number and other working staffs but still they didnt atten the call and ignore the call. These are their numbers: [protected] vijay kumar,[protected], 98403011 despatch department. I need proper explainattion regarding these issue. If you getting the amout without any concession then you should answer us. Just understand.

Recently i shifted my house within chennai.

Chennai packers movers did not send the persons on time. Eventhough i called and reminded them 2 times one day before the shifting.

Even they did not ask any sorry for the delay.

The person name is madhu who i contacted for the booking. He is so irresponsible fellow.
He never listen and respond to our querry properly.

Its mainly because of him i never use this packers and movers again.

I accpet the delays but the way they replied to me is so irritating... No customer respects...
