Citibank — urgent!!!-account no: [protected]: issue w. r. t emi conversion

I writing to you with regards to the recent transaction i made with my new citi bank credit card.
The first transaction i made was for rupees-26826.
Immediately after the first transaction i called the customer care to get it converted to an emi.
Conversation 1:
I asked the person to convert it to an emi and i was advised that the minimum amount due must be above 1000 and asked me to swipe the card again so that the transaction amount of 26826 can be converted to an emi. I did ask the guy again and again if i swipe the card for 1000 bucks or more will it be possible to convert to an emi and he re-confimred that it can definitely be converted. Based on the confirmation from citibank i swiped the card again for 1400 bucks and contacted the team for emi conversion.
Conversation 2:
This time it was a lady and she confirmed that he will go ahead and convert as per my request for 12 months emi. She tries and provides me the interest details up to 12 months and then she says its showing some error and would contact some one for help and put me on hold. After few mins she says there is.85 difference due to which she is unable to covert it to an emi but because it such a small difference she would check with the team and request for call back option. She also told that it can be converted and i need not have to worry.
Conversation 3:
After couple of days i called again and this time the person says it cant be converted and the system is not accepting as its lesser amount. I was really upset with this as i have been waiting and nothing turns out to be positive and i clearly mentioned to her that i will not be paying one rupee if it is not converted to an emi. She immediately raises the ticket and provides the complaint number (3604) and asks me to contact her in 3 days that is 7th or 8th of may.
Conversation 4:
I called agin to check the status of the complaint and the person confirms it cannot be converted and they do accept that its their fault but still wouldn't help me in converting it into an emi and asks me to make a full payment and based on my request she says she would inform this to her manager and would arrange a call back.
Conversation 5:manager:
The manager calls accepts its their fault in confirming to me that it can be converted and she also tells me to pay the full amount or to pay it partially in two months and she would arrange a reversal of the interest up to 1400 for 2 months. Also she states that if i pay this for a longer duration then the interest rates would be really high. Hen i told her i would not pay the bill and would cancel the card she said its my call.
(Is this how you treat your customers???)

I am so dissapointed by the service. I was very excited that i got a new card and the whole point of me buying the card was for the emi option. The bank confirms my transaction conversion to an emi and then fools me and asks me to pay the whole amount!! This is unacceptable. I did inform the team that i would not pay the bill but by doing that again my credit score would go low and i do not want that.
Its completely the banks fault and i am not ready to pay lump sum amount in one go. I would want you all to take a strict action and ensure to help me get the emi converted for 12 months as per my discussion with the team.

Appreciate your help in getting this sorted within this week (10th may).
