Grievance Regarding Excess Charges Levied During NOC Payment via SBIePay
Respected Sir,
I am writing to formally lodge a grievance regarding an unexplained excess charge levied during my recent payment to CIDCO through the SBIePay payment gateway.
On 27th January 2026, I initiated a payment of ₹4, 74, 360/- towards NOC charges to CIDCO using my HDFC Bank Credit Card via the SBIePay payment gateway. While the principal transaction amount was successfully debited, an additional charge of ₹6, 717/- was imposed, resulting in a total payment of ₹4, 81, 076.94/-.
HDFC Bank has confirmed that no extra charges were levied by them. The deduction appears to have originated solely from the SBIePay gateway. This unexplained charge has caused financial inconvenience and raises serious concerns about transparency in the payment processing system.
Following my escalation to SBIePay (AGMCUSTOMER LHOMAH, agmcustomer.[protected]@sbi.co.in), I was advised that the entire funds have already been transferred to the **CIDCO Maharashtra account** and that I should approach CIDCO directly for resolution.

Request for Immediate Redressal:

3. Refund the excess amount at the earliest, if found to be wrongly levied.
4. Confirm corrective measures to ensure such discrepancies do not recur.
I trust CIDCO will treat this matter with urgency and fairness. Kindly acknowledge receipt of this grievance and inform me of the steps being taken to resolve it. Failure to address this issue promptly will compel me to escalate the matter further to relevant regulatory authorities.
