City Union Bank — Quality of Service | |||
I am terribly fed up with the services offered by City Union Bank. I have sent umpteen number of times about the quality of service which this branch is offering. I have my account in this branch. The staff and the branch manager make great talks but when it comes to action it is Zero. When ever I visit this branch there will be minimum of 2 problems. I see lot of senior citizens who come for updating their passbooks. Since I have my mobile app, I do not bother the staff much. The passbook printing kiosk will be out of order most of the times. Obviously a customer will seek the help of the staff to get their passbooks printed in order to know the latest balance. I have seen the staff saying ruthlessly, use the printing kiosk. That staff in particular may not be aware whether the kiosk is functioning or not. The senior people have to go home without getting the job done. On 8th July I went to the bank to get my passbooks updated. The reason was that the recurring deposit account passbooks cannot get printed thro' the kiosk and I was forced to seek the help of the counter staff. The machine in the counter staff cubicle was also not functioning. The branch Manager told me to leave the passbooks and have it collected the next day from the branch. I told the Manager that I cannot keep coming to the bank everyday. She told me that an indent has been made to get the machine rectified. Today(15th July 2021) I went the branch to get it updated. The staff gave me a reply that the machine is yet to be rectified and an indent has been sent. I really do not know how the Manager said with great confidence that I can collect the passbook the next day when I went there on 8th of July 2021. Today the Manager was not in branch due to some meeting in T Nagar. If I have to take these matters to the Manager each and every time, I feel I am only wasting my energy and my so called respect. If the pass book printing machine cannot be rectified on time, definitely the senior citizens particularly the retired people are going have a very tough time with this branch. If the higher authorities feel that my part is genuine they will definitely do the needful. If they feel that I am complaining frequently then the bank has to return the deposits which I am holding. The bank work is not going to stop just because a customer like me is leaving. Was this information helpful? | |||
