I have purchased clarks shoes from cental mall, vashi on 15.07.2018 of mrp rs. 5000/- in 50% discounted sale. But in one week only, shoes sole got ripped from shoe. When i visited the central mall vashi, customer care lounge, i was surprised by the comments and behaviour of employees, as they clearly said there is no warranty/guarantee on discounted items under sale and refused to serve on the issue. I just explained that shoes got ripped in one week only which is not in sync with brand value of clarks/central. Even though they refused to serve by quoting the same reason. They also said that i have to get shoe sole pasted/repaired from outside agencies/market with bearing charges of the same. I felt cheated that paying so much money, i have not got value of money as i have not gone to buy clark shoe in central mall to purchase a shoe with a life of 1 week and then left no where and getting mentally harassed by visiting market to get my brand new shoe repairing with my own money. Not only clarks duped me but also central is adding its contribution to my agony. Then i requested to staff of customer care lounge of central mall, vashi to get my sole repair/paste from clark company, if they are not going to exchange the shoe. After a long while, they have said they would send the shoe to company subject to company decision to repair it or not and i need to contact them after 20 days. Even though i deserve a exchange, i am forced to have a defective shoe. My question to company is that "is this their brand value that their shoe cant stand for 1 week or this is simple way of duping customers on the name of sale?" my money got totally wasted. I have no choice instead of compromising with such unethical behavior of clarks/central. And my simple request to both, i[censored] cant serve your customer, then stop cheating your customer on name of sale/offers. And one question is "why i should have defective shoes when i have paid the money as per your invoice?" also, i request to competent authority, please help me on the issue & help me to get worth of my money.
