I booked 8 tickets from cleartrip for dubai to kochi and return. Had to cancel the tickets due to corona. Had done the cancellation on march 2020. However till now, no payment has been made neither anyone has called me from cleartrip. I am calling them lamost everyday, and all executives are asking to wait for 24 hrs to process and nothing happens.
I investigated with the airline directly and spicejet and airindia express have confirmed in email that they have already refunded the money to cleartrip one month back. However cleartrip says they haven't received the money.
My total loss till now is 80k inr. Dont know what to do, i have been clearly cheated : (. Is it spice jet /airindia or cleartrip lying. They are pushing me to each other.
ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I have heard this twice before but each time it was my refund will be ready in three or four days, that was late May and early June.
This company really does not understand the damage it is doing to itself by making promises that they cannot keep. This is unfortunate. Using the coronavirus as an excuse when they had almost 0 bookings for two months speaks volumes.
