    My mom was stranded due to covid lockdowns for more than 2 months and hence i was desperately looking for booking a ticket with amending option because applying tn epass required us to book the ticket upfront. After several searches, i booked spicejet 20:25 delhi to chennai ticket on cleartrip website with flexifly (Digit insurance) so that i can amend the ticket if required. Finally when a need came the website would not let me amend, asks to contact +[protected] which says temporarily blocked. No email to contact. Their support is auto chatbot which loops and finally was able to submit a feedback where i typed in the issue and requested to change the flight to different airline on same day. There was no terms and conditions said that the change is possible only within same airline. Digit insurance also confirmed that we change the ticket to different airline but cleartrip continuosly denies and cheated me. Since i also suggested other passengers totally three o[censored]s were cheated. Thats when i wanted to bring it to public so that others can at least be made aware of. Please dont buy cleartrip ticket because of flexify option. It doesnt work at the hour of need.

      An airline ticket purchased on cleartrip from new delhi to united states was canceled in early march. On march 5 cleartrip said it would be 30 days.in early april they said it would be another 30 days.in recent times i was told that it would be deposited in my account within 2 or 3 days. 8 days later i bring this to their attention in an email and they say another 7.

      There is definitely something wrong with this – bad business. They had two months during the lockdown to solve these problems.

      This kind of behavior will lead to their own demise. I am glad i came to consumer complaints to recognize there are so many unhappy customers, i am not alone.

      I purchased an airline ticket on expedia three weeks ago. It was canceled several days later, and expedia solved the problem within a week. Total time beginning to end – 10 days. They will be getting my business now.

      Several days after writing the original complaint I get a very pretty and glossy email from Cleartrip stating that my refund will be done by the end of June. That will have been four months.

      I have heard this twice before but each time it was my refund will be ready in three or four days, that was late May and early June.

      This company really does not understand the damage it is doing to itself by making promises that they cannot keep. This is unfortunate. Using the coronavirus as an excuse when they had almost 0 bookings for two months speaks volumes.
      Here is a copy of my latest email to Cleartip;

      First I am told it will be 30 days to refund from March 5.
      Then I am told it will be 60 days to refund from March 6.
      On May 6 I am told that it will be 5 to 7 working days
      Then I am told on May 28 that it will be 24 to 48 hours.
      On June 6 I am told it will be 5 to 6 days.
      On June 11 I am sent a brand-new spanking pretty computer-generated email that payment  will be June 30.
      Can you see that there may be something wrong with this?
       Let's get this done. I mean done.

        Ticket was cancelled with trip i'd[protected] on 24 march for kolkata to tabuk. No refund have been yet processed with an excuse that airlines have not refunded.

        Need proper solution.

          I booked 8 tickets from cleartrip for dubai to kochi and return. Had to cancel the tickets due to corona. Had done the cancellation on march 2020. However till now, no payment has been made neither anyone has called me from cleartrip. I am calling them lamost everyday, and all executives are asking to wait for 24 hrs to process and nothing happens.
          I investigated with the airline directly and spicejet and airindia express have confirmed in email that they have already refunded the money to cleartrip one month back. However cleartrip says they haven't received the money.
          My total loss till now is 80k inr. Dont know what to do, i have been clearly cheated : (. Is it spice jet /airindia or cleartrip lying. They are pushing me to each other.

            Ticket was booked and pnr was not generated. Then they said refund will be
            Processed and i got an email that refund is processed. Trip id for reference:[protected]
            Refund has not been processed until now and it's been 75 days

              I have booked ticket twice from hyderabad to varanasi.
              First time i booked, the airline cancelled the ticket and told that amount is protected in credit shell.
              Again second time when i was booking my ticket for 1st june i was not able to book my ticket by using credit shell as it showed no amount linked to the ticket.
              Hence i decided to deal with it later and booked another ticket for first june early morning ticket. Again they cancelled from the airline side.
              Now when i am trying to use both the pnr, i am not able to book the ticket using the pnr.
              Also their customer care assistance is trying to neglect complaints by not allowing to connect to customer care executives.
              @cleartrip are your trying to cheat the customers by not responding.
              Are we fools to book ticket everytime and store money in credit shell and not being allowed to use it.

                Hi, my name is k. Sanjeev kumar. I booked an air ticket from delhi to chennai (4 passengers) for travel on 17th may. With pnr aw65xx. I paid 12276 rs. I got a message from indigo that it got cancelled due to covid lock down and an amount of 11180 will be transfered credit shell which can be used within 1 year. Today when i checked with the airlines they messaged that the airlines recieved only 11180 rest 1096 rs is with the travel agent clear trip. They have even processed a refund of 11180 rs on 5th of may and will be reflected in travel agents original mode of payment and asked me to check with them. When i logged into my cleartrip account to check my ticket status it shows no bookings for this account. I am perplexed. How to resolve this issue?

                  I had booked a few flight & railway tickets on the cleartrip website
                  With the following trip ids
                  1. [protected]
                  2.[protected]
                  3.[protected]

                  But all these tickets got cancelled because of the nationwide lockdown due to covid19. However when i tried to contact cleartrip about this, neither their telephone helpline nor their online support was functioning.

                  This is causing me a lot of frustration with the service of this company and hence i would request you to take some action against them

                    Im writing with extreme disappointment regarding the cancellation of g8 336 bom to cok on[protected].
                    It was devastating to receive the message of cancellation on[protected] at 10:13pm. During the current pandemic situation we received all the entry pass from the states to fly to cochin and the last minute cancellation was disappointing. We have tried to reach all the call centers of go air and there was no update.

                    So with all respect kindly do the needful to arrange the refund for the ticket to avoid further proceedings from our side to the concerned legal authorities.

                        Ref: trip i d.[protected]. This is inform you i had booked 3 tickets for my family. Visakhapatnam to delhi on the 3-4-2020 unfortunately due to pandemic lockdown flights were cancelled and therefore i cancelled my ticket on[protected]. I was promised credit of complete refund on[protected] at 12:03 pm but to my dismay no credit and no response from your such a prestigious company which now proves to cheat it’s premium customers and donot care for them. Be assured when your company cheats
                        Customers good lord is gonna cheat you and get you into big loss for sure. But i shall bring into media and legal proceedings about your system. So be assured your company will be served legal notice as i have all necessary information and evidence which proves that airline has given you full refund but you people donot have a heart to give back to customers, just give them mental torture.

                          I had booked a delta airlines return flight bengaluru to san francisco for march 20 2020
                          Due to corona the trip was canceled
                          I am yet to get any refund
                          Multiple emails have proven futile
                          They say delta airlines has not raised refunds and delta airlines is saying cleartrip has not raised a request of refund with them

                            I've checked with spicejet (Pnr w89gwi) and indigo (Pnr upbp3u) and both airlines have confirmed that full refund has been credited to the cleartrip so they need to credit it to my source a/c

                            I have been trying to reach them for past one month but they are not reachable and clearly ignoring my twitter handles (Because that's the only official place where i could actually go and write something)

                            I have already shared the trip id and pnr details with them but they have never responded over dm.
                            You don't have a functional email support, their call center never connects the call for my trip id.

                            On may 1st, the airlines have confirmed that full amount has already been refunded to cleartrip and i need to check with them. They just aren't reachable and my money is stuck with them.

                              I attempted to make an online payment for a flight booking for gulf air from mumbai to manama on 20th may 2020 at www.cleartrip.com of rs. 17771.
                              Trip id:[protected]
                              Amount : rs.17771
                              Payment was unsuccessful and booking was failed. After checking my bank statement i noticed that amount was debited from my account.
                              Under payment failed trip it was shown that if account was charged then refund will be done in 3-12 days. But still i have not received the refund. I tried calling cleartrip helpline but couldn't connect as it was saying that all support will be given online at www.cleartrip.com/support but under this failed transactions details are not given for support.

                              My transaction was done through icici credit card. After speaking to icici customer care, they said that cleartrip should initiate refund process and after that it will be credited to my account. Transaction no of payment debited from icici card is [protected]

                              I hereby demand cleartrip to refund the said amount without any further delay!

                                My flight for 28th may was cancelled by indigo and they provided me credit shell for that cancellation. As i booked the ticket on cleartrip i tried to utilise my credit shell on cleartrip for my new booking but i am not able to use it as when i am putting the pnr of credit shell of cancelled flight cleartrip is showing pnr invalid. I have mailed cleartrip regarding this 36 hours before but my issue is ye not resolved. I am in urgent need of flight booking but still cleartrip is taking too long.

                                      I have booked my flight with air asia through cleartrip for 3 person. The return flight to delhi - bali was scheduled between 29th march/ 3rd april 2020. The flight was cancelled by air line due to covid-19. My trip i’d with cleartrip is[protected] on the name of vishal kumar verma / jyoti verma / shikhar verma.
                                      I have been constantly following up with cleartrip for almost two month now for full refund but with no results. Cleartrip is passing the buck on air asia and they say that i should follow with travel agency. Cleartrip have even stopped their phone customer care & email support. Despite constant follow up through email / social media ; i am yet to get my flight refund. This is my hard earned money and i cannot let it go to a cheat organisation. Please if you can help me on this.

                                        Dear sir,
                                        Pl note that i have booked indigo flight ticket thru cleartrip through trip id:[protected] and pnr no rn577n for 27th may, 2020. This flight has been cancelled by the air lines. I have checked with the airlines who have already creditted the amount to cleartrip account on 28th.
                                        Since 28th till the time i am trying to rebook the tickets through cleartrip site but they are claiming that the credit shell is not linked with this pnr. This totally harassment. I desperately want to book fresh ticket for 31st as my family is stuck up at kolkata due to lockdown.
                                        Every moment the ticket price is increasing. I am suffering without my any fault and negligence attitude of cleartrip.
                                        Pl help me out immediately.
