Issue: i tried booking 6 air tickets from cleartrip site. Money got deducted and ticket was not issued. I got an email telling refund will be processed in 3- 4 working days, but still not refund has been processed yet.
Frustrating part id there is no email support. A toll free number is there which when called will ask to enter trip id. Once entered it will give automated message saying your booking is not processed and refund will be given in 5 working days and gets disconnected. I am stuck and my money is gone it seems. I am not even able to speak to a customer care officer or email support to understand when will i get my money back?
The amount is very huge for me and now i cant even book another ticket because my money is stuck and nobody is assuring when will i get the money.

Resolution: i want refund at the earliest and also i want cleartrip official to call me and confirm whether they have processed the refund or not? I want to understand if the money is stuck with clear trip or with the bank? I need to talk to a clear trip authorized person to understand the current status. I cannot wait like this for ever hoping for refund some day.

I booked a flight from Bengaluru to Kolkata on November 17th for Mrs. Sukla Sinha through cleartrip website.
Even though I deselected flexifly option and selected ordinary flight, the total amount included flexifly charges. No breakdown of charges was shown before payment. It was shown only after payment. This was clearfraud from cleartrip.

    I have tried to book a ticket and it got failed, but still the amount is not yet credited into my account.
    I received a mail that i will get the refund in 7 days.
    Now its 21 days and still i didnt got any refund from clear trip.
    My banking partner replied that there was no refund transaction intiated by clear trip

      On nov 19, 2019 while booking accomodation at hotel comfort inn vadodara for 5 guests (4 adults and a child) through hdfc bank netbanking, after providing the credentials, i got an error message and i did not get any booking confirmation. But the amount has got debited from my bank account. The error message said, if the amount has been debited from my bank account, the transaction status will be confirmed to the merchant, in this cleartrip, the next working day. Next day, on 20th nov, 2019 i called hdfc customer care and they confirmed that the transaction was successful. But now i dont have any way to cross check with cleartrip if the booking is confirmed. I did not receive any email from cleartrip.

      If i call cleartrip customer care, the ivr asks for trip id. But in my case, i dont even know if the booking is confirmed and hence i dont have a trip id. Please confirm, if my booking is successful and share the confirmation.

      I also posted a message in the facebook page of cleartrip. Immediately they responded by sending the trip id. WIth that I was able to speak to customer care. They assured that after 4 days the money will be refunded as the booking did not go through at all. I have got the money recredited to my bank account. Thanks for taking my complaint to the merchant.

        I booked a flight from prayagraj (Ixd) to bangalore (Blr) for 29th oct 2019. I paid additional 199 for flexifly so that reschedule charge upto 3200 will refunded if plan changes. I did reshedule the flight later to 31st august and paid around 6500 for reschedule. Later i received a link from flexifly to submit bank details for reschedule refund. I did submit the details on 16 oct itself successfully. Today i checked my bank statement and mail to check if any refund came but no, nothing.
        I clicked the link again from the previous mail for bank details submission, which is showing error on submission now.

        I wouldn't have reschedled if i knew that the flexifly service is a fraud.

          Hi i have booked tickets on 13 nov (Delhi to goa and goa to delhi) from 10th dec to 14 dec. I made payment but dont know the reason tickets haven't booked but amount has been debited which is 23, 466. My trip id is[protected]. Its been more than 6 days but did nt receive the amount kindly tell me whats the delay. As u see the amount is big. Just tell me when will i receive my money. I gave u all the information u needed.

            Complaint / grievance against clear trip.com for not getting full refund of air tickets when the flight was cancelled by air asia
            Case in details: cleartrip.com trip id no. [protected]
            Air asia flight ticket booked on line through cleartrip.com on 18.08.19
            Flight details : air asia flight no. 15-598 ccu-pnq from kolkata to pune of 2nd january2020 for 4 persons confirmed tickets for rs.23, 478
            Payment : through debit card
            1. Air asia informed through email on 18.10.19 about cancellation of the flight no.15-598 ccu-pnq of 2nd january 2020 due to operational reasons and approved full refund of the tickets (Copy of air asia email) within 30 days of claim.
            2. I lodged claim of on line with clear trip.com on 25th october 2010 giving the pdf copy of the email of air asia for getting full refund
            3. I checked through online that cleartrip.com was showing full refund of the tickets booked against the trip id [protected]
            4. Clear trip.com sent an intimation on 27th october for an amount of rs.9, 148 only and i replied from my registered android phone to cleartrip about the full refund as per air asia email as i was not having access to email at that point of time. But i got intimation from my bank that an amount of rs.9148 credited to my bank account on 2ndnovember, 2019.

            5. My question is how cleartrip.com deducted rs.14, 330 when the flight has been cancelled by air asia due to change of the route for operational reasons and allowed full refund. Cleartrip.com is an authorised agent of the airlines and must abide by the instructions of airlines recommendations for refund of money for such type of cancellation. The passengers are at no fault on such cancellation.
            6.in view of above details i request the controlling authority of the grievance cell under the ministry of civil aviation to intervene and help me to get full refund of the cancelled tickets.

            I made many calls to Cleartrip.com to follow the full refund. Every time I get the same answer that awaiting confirmation from airlines. Since 27th October till now I made 7 calls but nothing has been changed from the stereotyped reply.
            Is it a cheating business run by Cleartrip.com on the nose of the NDA Government who promised a clean system for the development of digital India. Is it the example by Cleartrip.com?
            All about business they make money for cancellations because its not a full refund anyway so why care, after 24 hours after 48 hours no one will call, why can't they just directly we cannot do anything for changed name we just put it there for display, don't call yourself customer support!!!

                I booked a flight for 16th november from varanasi to delhi when i reached airport indigo staff informed me that my ticket is cancelled and i was not informed that my ticket is canceled then i called cleartrip customer care i asked them about this they told me that you have called in indigo and have canceled your flight then i called in indigo and asked them about that they told that mrs heena from cleartrip had canceled the flight then i again called in cleartrip and asked them to check for the recording then they took 1 hour 20 minutes to inform me that it is there staff fault and they don’t informed me about the refund i am very angry with this attitude of the staff and i ll file a suit against the company if i’ll not get my full money back i’ll take strict action as fast as possible and then i also booked new flight of rupees 16900 double of my privious one refund my money other wise i’ll take some action other wise i’ll file suit as fast as possible

                  Trip id:[protected], ticket no. 079-[protected], pnr wmr9yo. This is an unresolved issue for 2 weeks now. We have sent the death certificate to cleartip for the reference so that you they could consider my case and for me to use my return ticket from manila-dubai. I didn't get any assistance from their end and keep on promising for callback but no callback has been given. I have been spending hours to call you cleartrip but they are just taking my request for granted.

                      This mail is with regards to the flight we booked earlier on Sept 4th by my husband Mr.Kiran Vijay. We saw the Laparle Tickets offer and that was the reason we booked through your site.

                      Unfortunately, after the booking was done we didn't receive any mail with the codes which we could use for Laparle . I had to call your customer care plenty of times to check regarding the same .

                      Finally they send us the codes and now we can't use it.

                      Finally today I had gone to the Dubai Office you have at Media City to talk about this . I had a word with Hanna, one of your staff members who promised me that we will be credited with 400 Dhs in our cleartrip wallet with Validity for 1 Year.

                      I had visited the office in the morning and till now my husband hasn't received a mail regarding the credits that was informed to us.

                      I haven't gone through such a worst service ever in my life . So please send the mail to us ASAP. I can't keep running to your office or calling you guys in between my office hours for a mistake from your side.

                      Atleast show some responsibility and keep up your word .

                        I booked a flight ticket from amd to ixr on 9th nov '19. I made payment of rs. 5769 via upi vide transaction number[protected]. Even though my account was debited, i did not receive any ticket. I got a call from their customer support saying, it'll be refunded, it's the 3rd day since the transaction and i haven't received any refund nor my ticket.

                          It was a typo error that i booked my wife's (Sapna khandelwal) ticket from delhi bangalore by sg 8719 (Pnr o8ul9p) on 21st november instead of 21st dec.

                          Airlines when contacted directed me to cleartrip and cleartrip is now directing me to airlines. What for cleartrip is charging money?
                          If they can't help us in such occasions then when. Paying exorbitant charges and getting the date changed is not something which can be done online and cleartrip is not required for that.

                            I have requested for the refund my cancelled flight's amount on 30th October and still I am calling to the customer care. Agents are still telling that we have escalated issue and again it will take 7 days. Whenever I call they give me new dates and it's been thrice that I have called an they did not resolvr the issue. This is the worst Service that I have ever got.

                              I had booked light and sound show for Jaipur at Amber fort on 08th Nov for 10th Nov, but I haven't received the confirmation nor the ticket but amount got deducted from my SBI account, details are[protected]IGAHKGJKZ8, need my refund. 02 days I was waiting for the confirmation, tried many times customer care number, but it asks for a trip ID, how can a customer can only be contacted with trip ID, sounds very ridiculous. I had been to clear trip website to register a complaint but once you put your complaint, it shows an error, again manipulating by clear trip to not complaint get registered. They do not have any option without trip ID to register the complaint

                                I have a booking in cathay via clear trip and when i book using their website i cannot enter my 2nd name, its because they are not allowing to put space in the first name. I still pursue the booking but when i called them to fix it they just ask me to send my passport and wait for 24-48 hours. After that there is no response from them. I called them again and told me that it is the airline that is not responding.. But when i call cathay pacific they told me that cleartrip didnt contact them. They didnt even contact cathay pacific. Take note i talked to many agents in the cleartrip and they didnt make an action.

                                  Bought a ticket with extra check in luggage of 10kg from dubai (Dxb) to cochin (Cok) on spice jet on oct. 27, 2019 (Flight no. Sg 18). But spice jet didn't accept for the extra luggage, had to pay from pocket for extra 10 kg. Amounting to aed. 640.00. Made a phone complaint at the same time. Complaint no. 10010421 attended by mr. Rohan. Pnr no. H6p7fv.

                                      I had booked a ticket from shariah to bangalore (Trip id[protected] in air arabia (G9 496) for 4th november 2019, it was clearly mentioned on the ticket baggage info 30 kg and we had ordered meals and paid. But when we reached the airport, they informed that clear trip has not informed them about the 30kg baggage and we had to pay aed 80.00 to check in the baggage and in the flight she was not provided with meals.
                                      The extra amount that we had paid need to be refunded.

                                        I have booked the hotel from clear trip and got the confirmation as below. Next day i got call from clear trip that your booking is not done as there is issue in server and hotel was already full for those days. Even other options were not available for alternate booking.
                                        I was told that i will get the full amount refund in 3 to 4 working days and 20% amount will be added in clear trip account for this inconvenience caused.
                                        To my surprise, i got the money back saying that i cancelled the booking and also i was paid 6, 021 only remaining is shown as cancellation (See attached receipt). This is clear case of cheating me. Please refund me the complete amount within a day.
                                        Expecting immediate action before i approach the consumer court with recorded audio of the call that i got from clear trip.
