I cancelled a flight on 11th of march 2018, but after my various calls and emails the cleartrip agents are not refunding my money even not confirming me the refund amount.

As per the cleartrip agent the below email,

This email is regarding your trip id[protected] from bhubaneswar to dubai, return.

We have already initiated the cancellation process on our system. Since this is a trip where refund has to be claimed through refund application which will take 40 – 45 working days for authorization from the airline’s end. However we cannot commit on refund amount as the authority is completely with the airline.

Once the ra is authorized you’ll receive the money in 5-7 working days.
ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I booked a room twice with cleartrip and both time transaction was failed but i got deducted charges twice Rs. 639.36 & 799.20. Booking was in the nane of Tapish Saini and hotel is ‘Hotel Hawa Mahal, Jaipur’. Please arrange a refund of Rs. 1438.56/-.

    I am mr. Mohammed azeemuddin customer of cleartrip i had booked a ticket from your site at 19-05-18 travelling for ummrah round trip on 04-06-18 outbound dubai to jeddah return on 20-06-18 from jeddah –riyad – dubai ticket was confirmed and trip id [protected] for more detail refer my ticket copy, fortunately on 20-06-18 i came to know my ticket is invalid i can’t travel as per saudi rules you can’t book a flight with layover (Stop) it should direct round trip ex - (Outbound dubai to jeddah and return jeddah to dubai) i called your call centre no your cleartripers is not aware about above situation and not having any information related to above issue and not on the website also as customer i am layman to all this you people in market, but still not having such an important information were it is clear showing on saudi airlines website and one more online ticket booking site make my trip, now i am unable to travel as per saudi airlines guidelines or term & condition
    In second case if i visit airport at travelling date then i might have not able to travel due above condition of saudia and i will be losing booking of hotel and flight ticket booked amount and also visa amount, now the question is as customer i should not believe on cleartrip for any ticket booking because of lack off information leading to the disaster situation and killing customer trust and satisfaction people book ticket to travel but here ending up with bad lesson
    Now after knowing that i can’t travel without modification of travelling ticket and i have to bear the additional cost of aed640 after paying full amount aed2690 again i have to pay aed640 for changing of traveling with layover and as customer why i should be bear penalty charges when i have not done any fault from my end why i should bearing additional charges, so i kindly request you to refund my penalty amount asap
    First booking
    Indirect round trip on 04-06-18 outbound dubai to jeddah return on 20-06-18 from jeddah –riyad – dubai ticket was confirmed and trip id [protected]
    Second modified booking
    Direct round trip ex - (Outbound dubai to jeddah and return jeddah to dubai) date remain same

    And all above this i might have not able visit or perform holy rituals ummrah it is more than anything for any pilgrim
    Last but not list is update your team and your website with proper details i hope i am the last customer to suffer

        Hi,
        I've booked madurai to delhi on 19.5.18 for travel on 20.5.2018 by spicejet sg 3072. Booking id [protected]. I've cancelled the e-ticket at 12.12 pm on 19.5.2018 due to change in plan. I've also received email from cleartrip toward confirmation of cancellation at 12.12 pm. As per the cancellation policy a refund amount of 13, 000 should have been issued.
        But, nil refund (0 refund) has been issued.
        Pl look into this and arrange refund as per rules.
        ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
        Haven't received my air ticket I booked today from chennai to hyderabad (air India AI 545. Ticket booked for 21st May 2018 19.10 hrs) my payment has been made too. As, the customer service care number doesn't seem to be helpful, I'm placing my complaint here.. ...annoyed..

          We have processed a refund of rs. 0 for your indore - ahmedabad one-way booking (Trip id[protected].

          Wtf. Why the # you guys have not written over ticket that cancellation charges are higher than actual ticket and why the # it is written in ticket as " this ticket is classified by cleartrip as refundable".
          The worst cancellation policy.

            Dear sir,
            I have booked tickets from sharjah to trichirapalli. When i checked clear trip site it showed only fare details. I got baggage details after payment process done. Normally when we travel by air india express. Baggage weight was 30 kg per passenger.in that assumption we booked ticket. When i printed the ticket it was showing 20kg per passenger. We are 3 passengers here. We have more weight in our luggage. Is it possible revert our baggage weight.

              change of title in and air ticket from mr to mrs for a passenger

              Kindly refer to my case id 05951224. I had requested customer care of cleartrip today afternoon through email from mail id: [protected]@bhel.in for change of title of passenger (From 'mr' to 'mrs' who has to travel from coimbatore to hyderabad by air india on 22 may 2018. I got a prompt reply email stating the above mentioned case id for my request. But so far, i have not received the intimation regarding the change. Nor have i received...

              We had gone out to a trip to himachal pradesh and as per our requirement which arose during our trip to stay at mclodeganj, we decided to go for this very famous website cleartrip.com and book our stay via their website, as we checked on their website we found suitable accomodation at hotel asia for which they demanded rs. 7197 under trip id [protected]. The booking was done and confirmed to us through booking voucher which was sent by cleartrip through
              Sms at [protected]
              And email at [protected]@hotmail.com and
              At 3.48 pm
              For asia health resorts ans spa, strawberry hills, near dal lake dharamshala cantt. Mcleodganj, dharamshala, himachal
              Pradesh, india 176216
              Room details - 1*junior suite room only from may 12, 2018 to may 13, 2018
              All the bookings were made by my husband - mr. Uday dewan
              We instantly paid through our credit card rs. 7197 (Rate breakup, room rate rs. 6099, gst on hotel rate rs. 1098, total rs. 7197
              We were quite happy as our need was fulfilled by their website and continued with our journey, we moved to this place but this happiness turned into a nightmare when we reached mcleodganj we called hotel people to enquire about the exact location and found out that our room was not booked and they told us that we have informed cleartrip that no room was available. We asked the person on call if anything can be done as it would be difficult for us to find a room now as it was late rainy evening and weekend but he told us that they cannot accomodate as their hotel has no vacant room since last 4 days and then we called cleartrip and they said we are really sorry
              This is how our problem started and we felt we have been cheated by this
              Very famous website which claimed to be indias best travel website.
              We had a harrowing experience as we tried to convince both the hotel and cleartrip people. They started blaming each other and at the end said we cant help and we are sorry.
              We were quiet worried as time was late and it was raining heavily, we had to leave that place and move through risky road and bad weather at such late hour.
              Cleartrip cancelled our booking on their own after saying sorry and sent an email that our booking for asia health resorts ans spa, strawberry hills, near dal lake dharamshala cantt. Mcleodganj, dharamshala, himachal

              Stands cancelled at 6.10pm
              The oother email we recieved was that our refund of rs. 7197 has been processed and would appear in our account in 5 to 14 working days at 6.48 pm
              It is not only about money but our physical and mental abuse which we had to go through and our families were also worried about travelling back at such an odd hours,
              We want some renumeration paid and company penalised so that they do not cheat others as we are sure their must be many more who must not have reported.

                We have processed a refund of rs. 0 for your new delhi - ranchi return booking (Trip id[protected].

                The ticket clearly states that "this ticket is classified by cleartrip as refundable".

                However, when i cancelled the ticket, they informed me that this is a zero base fare ticket and can not be refunded.

                This is clearly a harassment by this web site. I would never recommend anyone to use cleartrip.

                Please ensure that money is refunded otherwise i've to take the help of law.

                  Hi team,
                  This is to highlight one of insensitive and irresponsible behavior shown by Cleartrip where I was following up with them for past 17 days and wrote several mails but they didn't even bother to respond or provide a clear response on my issue related to one of the hotel booking done with them. Actually I booked a hotel Treebo residency for 2nd to 3rd may and made the payment through my mobikwik wallet. The booking got cancelled due to emergency at my home. I talked to the hotel and they issued a full refund on medical grounds. But cleartrip neither approached the hotel nor reached out to me for refund and I kept on following up (refer the mails below). Whenever I called them, they either told me to talk to the hotel or the wallet from which I made the payment. I fall trapped between Hotel, cleartrip and Mobikwik.

                  I want to highlight one of extremely bad experience which I had with you. I never expected such an irresponsible and insensitive behavior from your customer support team. Just to reiterate the instance, I had the above mentioned booking for today at Treebo New residency. However, I met with a medical emergency at home where my son had to be hospitalized. Thus I wanted my booking to be either cancelled or rescheduled. I called up Treebo hotels and they told me that it can be doable but once they get a mail from Cleartrip.com. I called up the customer care and explained the whole scenario which took me more than 30min. The guy was so insensitive while talking and gave me reference to non refundable hotel policy several times. I kept on telling him that I already had a discussion with the hotel and they are willing to make the changes. At last I was asked for medical documents of my son and then he told me that he will send the request to the hotel and will wait for revert. I said I am ok with any decision as the emergency is more important for me rather than money spent on this booking.
                  Late last night I got a standard response from Mr Nasir Shaikh stating that as per the hotel policy this is a non refundable booking and apologies for the inconvenience caused. I was quite surprised so I thought to talk to hotel guys and ask them about the problem. When I discussed with them I was surprised to know that they never received any request from Cleartrip team. This was really shocking for me as I thought that your team denied my request post discussing with the hotel. The Treebo team was quite sensitive to my concern and they immediately issued a refund and asked me to reach out to you guys. I am reaching out to you not to get my money back, but to tell you about the pathetic service and irresponsible behavior for your customers. I replied on the mail I received from your team and I haven’t received any response yet showing the kind of customer service you provide.
                  you may keep this money refunded from the Treebo Hotels team but I need a response from you. I don’t need the money but I need to know your modus operandi. And least to say, me and anyone from my family is no more a cleartrip customer anymore.

                        We have booked hotel 3 rooms of silver sand beach resort by clear trip for 2 nights dates 13.5.18 till 15.5.18 in the name of mr. Ashok khanna. Booking agent name was navin raj. He asked for full payment in advance which we did. Somehow the amount payed was more then required. He said it wud be refunded but it never came. The agents are fraud. Clear trip should monitor their agents to save people from unnecessary troubles. As they make a happy trip the most troublesome ones.
                        Really bad experience of clear trip hotel booking.

                            This is priyesh, an executive working with a star resort in lonavala, in maharashtra.

                            I am writing to you on a specific issue regarding discrepancies related to your ticket refund programme.

                            I have booked a ticket for spicejet on 03.05.2018Â from pune to kochin and was scheduled to take off 03.05.2018. After finding out that i booked the ticket for a day earlier, i tried to cancel the ticket.

                            It was a fully refundable ticket and it the refund information was showing on cleratrip.com’s home screen when i booked the ticket. (Please refer to the below attached screen shot)

                            However, when i cancelled the ticket, i was told that i am not eligible for refund and a 334 rupees will be transferred with in 7-8 working days.

                            Immediately i contacted your customer care and the executive confirmed that it was wrong that the website had “refund” option live at the time when i did the booking. (Please refer to the audio conversation with your executive soon after the cancelation on 03.05.2018)

                            From all these facts above, it is very clear that i am eligible for the complete refund of rs 7598/-Â . I request you to immediately look into this problem and refund rs 7598 rs to my account as soon as possible.

                              I have booked yesterday i. E., 12/05/18 two round tickets for my brother-in-law & sister from pune - chennai - pune for 10/06/18 to 11/06/18. The name of the passengers are 1) mr. Rajendra bangad & 2) mrs. Bharati bangad. The payment for the same is made from sbi credit card no. [protected] of inr 9, 064/-.                                 I had book flight tickets through cleartrip on24 jan. Which was cancelled through cleartrip on27th feb in evening 6:30pm. Due to illness of my mom. Was waiting for refund even got mail from indigo airlines about cancellation and refund. Since 10 days i hav been calling cleartrip and they are giving irrelevant answers like booking not cancelled, no details about refund. Today they are telling me refund of some 3770rs done which is not tranferd in my account. The actual amount to be refund is 7036rs. The cleartrip staff behaviour is very irresponsible. Kindly help us for refund.

                                  Hi i booked a return ticket from bangalore to delhi for dates 21 june and 2 july 2018.
                                  I dont know what happen tciket shows me=y ticket as reversed dates and destinations means

                                  21-june1 from delhi and 2 july from bangaluru.

                                  On noticing this i sudeenly cancelled the tickets but no refund has ben given.
                                  In contacting customer support, they says we are helpless and ticket is cancelled and cancellation charge is above than booking charges.

                                  I have lost rs 6420 but they are not replying any emails.

                                  It seems cleartrip is cheating people, not recommended to anyone.

                                    I have booked a ticket in Air India through cleartrip for my mother(Mrs.BALBINDER KAUR) and sister(Ms.KIRTYSHREE NAYAK), and mistakenly typed "K" instade of "L" in my mother's name. Then I called to Air india helpdesk and they suggested me to ask cleartrip to send a request to their sales team and they will rectify it.

                                    But from last 10days I called to cleartrip helpdesk but they are not able to send a remark request to Air India sales team.

                                    Air India saying that they can rectify this, if they will get remark request from Cleartrip because I booked it through Cleartrip. But I am not sure why Clartrip not going to send a REMARK request to Air India sales team.

                                    I am struggling from last 2weeks Only for ONE LETTER typo mistake.

                                      I had booked flight tickets online in january 2018 (Passengers - ajith kumar, saritha, and vinayakan) for flights from kochi to bengalore and back to kochi on april 26th and april 28th by go air flights nos.653 and 658 respectively (Pnr. Pd1vxxabdw5h) which were cancelled by the airlines and the refund paid to cleartrip being the agent. The refund paid by the airlines to cleartrip was rs. 5560 and rs, 5500 respectively for paying back to customer which was not done by cleartrip so far. Since the flights were not cancelled by me but by the airlines they paid back in full to cleartrip but the customer who booked the flight by credit card (Rugmani vinod) did not receive the refunded money so far, even after a month. Cleartrip may please refund the money at the earliest. I saw the policy of cleartrip is to pay back within 2 weeks. Here already one month expired. Pl refund the money to my credit card account through which i booked the tickets for ajith kumar and family.
