I Booked Hotel through Cleartrip on 5th June. Booking was confirmed and the amount was deducted. They provided me the voucher for booking too where all details were mentioned correctly with Booking ID too which is attached. But when I contacted the hotel representative, they said that no booking was made from cleartrip. Also they expressed that they never had partnership with Cleartrip. Then I had to raise complaint in cleartrip and they told within 24 hrs. they will call back but I never received call. They when I pestered them the next day, customer executive (Mr. Syed) said that they have done booking through Yatra partnership. The hotel does not have partnership with Yatra too.
I don't how they book without having any partnership with hotel. They put photos taken from other websites and create a fake one which is attached.
As days were nearing, I was forced to pester them to book the hotel. Atlast they gave me a solution alternate hotel to book and they have put a condition that there wont be able to refund for last booking.
Again I need to pester then for cancellation with compensation. I got the refund of hotel booked but have not received compensation till now.
Customer executive Syed and Akshay are very non-responsive to customer. They never call back and we need to spend lot of time and energy to fight for our rights.
It was very bad experience with Cleartrip. Even after complaint, still that hotel is shown for booking in Cleartrip site but they dont have any tie-up with them.
I want 30% compensation for fake booking as the rates have increased as only 1 day is left out.
Please dont book seeing many offer which I did and have paid the price.
