Cleartrip — Misleading email from cleartrip and refund issue | |
Hi Sir/Mam, I made a ticket booking with cleartrip.com (for indigo airline) on Thursday, at 3:10 pm, at 3:37 pm I received a email from cleartrip and it says “ Hi ameer, We are writing to let you know that the payment for the trip below was unsuccessful as we didn't get a confirmation from your bank. If your account was charged, it has been automatically refunded. Please note that it may take 3-12 business days for the amount to reflect in your account. Some public sector banks may take longer than this to credit the refund. Your UPI Phonepe transaction failed while attempting to process a purchase of: “, I checked with the apps, the status shows same (screenshot are available ), by seeing the mail and Cleatrip status I made another booking with other agent, Later at 11:17 pm i received mail from cleartrip and it says the ticket is confirmed, When i sent a mail for regarding cancellation, I received a reply and says they will charge for Cleatrip + airline cancellation fee, Was this information helpful? | |
