Cleartrip — online transaction failed but payment was charged | |||||
I attempted to make an online payment for a flight booking at www.cleartrip.com of Rs. 9, 702.00 of Indigo 904 of 13 Dec 2018 from Lucknow to Bangalore.However the internet connection was interrupted and the transaction status was showing as failed. Finally the flight booking could be successfully paid by transferring Rs.9, 702.00.by HDFC netbanking to Cleartrip’s account ( CCACleartripPrivateL) .Registered phone no was -[protected] and mail id was -riti.[protected]@gmail.com After checking my bank statement I noticed that, despite of the failed transaction, the amount of Rs 9702 had been also deducted from my bank account the same day. The payment was not successful, but the amount INR 23090 was deducted from my bank account.
