Clove Dental — Harassment, Ill Treatment, Misconduct, Miscommunication, No transparency, Money- Minded

Today on the 20th of April 2024, the members of Clove Dental ill-treated and harassed my mother wherein I was the patient and was sitting on the chair during the misbehavior with my mother who invigilates me during every sitting at 5 pm.

When the treatment was about to start, my family was promised to allot the weekend days as I am a school student and have a tight study schedule. Which was absolutely not followed. Rather after two Saturday appointments, none of the appointments were there on Sunday or Saturday. We hustled to rush to each month's appointment on Friday evenings even after being exhausted for the whole day which was not informed to us before charging the amount for treatment.

The doctor states that the patient could not choose their convenient day and the doctor's availability will decide the time for the patient. Not the patient's convenience.

Before my treatment started, the doctor told my mother to pay a fee of about 8000 (for clear retainers) and started arguing about her consent and referenced a handwritten document with a signature from their computer screen. When my mother denied consent, Dr started behaving badly and the misbehavior started right there in the room. Lastly, even the clerks misbehaved and poked me to get out of the clinic.

Let me describe some more incidents:

I was informed every time that the doctor was not available at the time I was requesting and even if they gave me the time they claimed that the doctor arrived at the clinic only for me whereas, in March when I visited, she had already treated about 2-4 patients before me on Saturday

I had requested the doctor to check my gums as it had swollen badly. They told me that it was regular and neglected my problem. At last, I had a gum boil and then they had to take action (scaling). Following was a demand for payment of about Rs. 5000 for a laser trimming treatment of gums if the case was not resolved. When my mother confirmed the case being resolved over a phone call, still the doctor insisted on going for the laser treatment. Even when it was not required.

From the above incidences, it's clear that Clove Dental is money-minded, negligent about the patient, and lacks transparency during the discussion of the steps in the treatment.

Immediate completion of the task as committed (retainers)
Providing suitable compensation for mental agony
