Club Mahindra Holidays — asked to attend presentation with false promise!

Hi,
I got a call from [protected] on 6th of jan, a lady spoke saying that there is a 45 minute long presenation about mahindra holiday resorts in hilton international hotel, chennai. At the end of the presentation there is a free gift voucher that i can collect and i should attend this with my family members. The lady booked my time.

The next day onwards i got continuous calls from her asking to attend the presentation. I finally reached the venue by 6 pm. There were 2 calls for another person ([protected]) while i was driving to check if i am coming and one more when i reached the hotel parking. I was asked to fill a form without even being offered a glass of water. I was made to. Wait for 15 minutes and then called inside.

One person just played a video for 5 minutes and asked me whether i have gone on a holiday. I said no and he immediately asked me to leave saying that i will get the gift voucher via email.

I asked him to explain the in details. Only then he talked about mahindra holidays for 5 minutes. Meanwhile another person behind us wanted to offer us coffee which the presenter flagged away three times during our talk with him.

Really wondering why i had to waste my time and fuel to experience an. Absolute nonsense like this!
No one from your side had the basic courtesy to greet your guest although you hosted the presentation in a big hotel like hilton.

The lady who pestered me at least 10 times before i attended the meeting did not even call me after the meeting. She did not even bother to pick up my call nor did i get the so called free gift which both she and the presenter promised.

I never expected this from a reputed company like mahindra. Does your company think that people who have not gone on a holiday are beggars who should be treated like this? I was really considering to enrol myself and am really surprised and angered with what had happened after i came there. Really irritated so that i am writing this.

I don't mind even if i do not get the free gift. First teach your people basic courtesy and how to keep promises made verbally!
