I acquired the Club Mahindra membership last September during an anniversary event held at the Tata Motors showroom in Pallavaram, Chennai.
During this event, Mani and Rizwan from CM team provided a detailed briefing about the membership. We had several queries, particularly regarding the challenges of securing hotel accommodations during peak seasons, which we learned about from friends. Since we typically travel during these peak periods, their assurance that we could reach out for assistance with bookings during such times was a significant factor in our decision to proceed with the membership. They promised that if we encountered any difficulties in making reservations during peak seasons, we should inform them, and they would assist us.
Despite the challenges of managing our child, we collaborated with your team for approximately three to four hours to complete the membership process. We fulfilled all necessary formalities and made the initial payment, indicating that we would soon provide our travel dates for our first trip with Club Mahindra. We intended to book a stay in Dec in their resorts for our first holiday with them. However, we have now been informed that booking is not possible due to the rejection of our exception request. When I inquired about this, I was told that the commitment made to us was no longer valid, which I find to be unfair.
Upon contacting the toll-free number, I was informed that as a blue member, I am not eligible to book during red and purple seasons. This revelation leads me to believe that the information and commitments provided to us were misleading. We are dissatisfied with the service we have received and no longer wish to continue with Club Mahindra. This situation has caused significant distress for me and my family, and I wish to cancel my membership on 6th of nov within 40 plus days from the payment.
we recieved the followin as a reposone to the cancellation and they are denying to refund the amount.
"We would like to inform you that in accordance with the cancellation clause mentioned in the membership Terms & Conditions which state that:
60% of the total membership cost is towards Admission Fees which is non-refundable.
The refund amount is calculated basis the remaining paid amount on prorated basis post deducting holidays taken and other gifts availed.
You have paid a total of Rs. 56013 till now for your membership. Since this amount is less than 60% of the total amount, there is no refund applicable."
We are asking for cancellation with a month of membership activation since they are providing false commitments but they are trying to cheat us by not refunding our amount
