[Resolved]  Club Mahindra Holidays — I want refund of my membership-policy no 2932212

Dear All

I would like to draw your attention to all the unfulfilled and false promises made to me by your executives during the last 2 years.

I had purchased a membership of Club Mahindra in Nov 2020. Mr Anand Kumar from NSP, Delhi office sold us this membership by making the following promises:
1. It is a 5 year plan. The company has launched it to make a new customer base. if you like it in 5 years then you can continue upto 25 years, else no need. Now I have come to know that there is no such plan.
2. He gave us 7N of international RCI, which he said he will extend the validity till 5 years( as at the time of purchasing the membership it was a lockdown period, hence no question of international holiday) so he made a false promise of extending the validity of RCI till 5 years. but RCI membership expired within 1 year during the lockdown period itself when there was a ban on international flights. so it was just a false promise.
3. he told us if we can get another customer through referral, he will make our first annual maintenance installment free. for this reason i got my friend Mr Karan Agarwal to purchase the membership from same Anand Kumar of club mahindra.
4. he also promised 6 vouchers of 2N/3D for all over INdia and 5 domestic/ Asia holidays in Club Mahindra resorts every year apart from the fixed 7N every year.
5. he also promised amazon vouchers, tanishq vouchers and other freebies worth of 25000, which were never received by me.
6. based on these fake promises I made an initial payment of Rs 30, 000 and subsequently 4 EMI of 11, 000 each. During this period I requested him to book my holiday on several occasions. However, he refused everytime making some or other excuses. After 4 months, I found the whole scheme fishy and I decided to stop payment of monthly EMI.
7. When I stopped making payment, he called me for due EMI. I requested Mr anand to book a holiday as per his promise and then I will pay further EMI. He didnt book any holiday so I didnt pay any EMI.

Now, come to June 2022, Mr Raman Kapoor from Jasola, Delhi office called me to say that my policy is in cancellation phase and I need to make EMI payment ASAP so that the policy remains in force. We organised a meeting at my home and I told him about my past experience. also I would like to mention I was 9 months pregnant at that time. Mr Raman assured us that if we make just 1 EMI payment in June 2022 then we can avail a 5N domestic/Asia holiday till October 2022. he said that just make 1 emi payment and I can take a holiday till October, and if I like it, then I can continue with membership else I can cancel it. As My delivery was due in June itself, I reconfirmed with him over whatsapp/ mail to give this commitment in written that i can avail holiday till october, as I am not in condition to travel anywhere till my newborn is atleast 3 months old. Thinking that Mr Raman is a genuine guy, and to make use of the previous 67000 that I had already paid to Club Mahindra, I agreed to make another payment of Rs 13, 000. So much so, that when I was hospitalized, Mr Raman kept calling indigenously and forced me to make the payment on UPI without the paperwork. I requested him to give me some more time as I was operated on and it was a major operation and my baby was also kept under observation so I was not in a mental state to think about club mahindra policy at that time. But Mr Raman kept calling after every few hours, so out of frustration from his numerous calls, I made the payment from my hospital bed through UPI.i can show you my hospital admission and discharge papers.Afterwards, I got busy with taking care of myself and the baby.

Recently, 10 days back I tried calling Mr Raman to book a holiday in October. I was in for the shock of my life when he said that the holiday cannot be booked and I need to make more EMI payments. Now he is not booking my holiday, instead blackmailing me to make more payments and saying he can arrange 2N/3D guest vouchers. I told him very clearly that I paid for membership and will not settle for gift vouchers.

Since the very beginning I was made to fall for false claims and none of the promises have been fulfilled. My experience with club mahindra and its executives has been the worst. I will not recommend the membership to anyone. My friend Karan Agarwal also blames me for his monetary loss of 67000.
I request you to cancel my membership and initiate my refund of Rs 80000 as I have not received a single penny value out of the money paid to your company.
