Club Mahindra Holidays — phone call from[protected] threatening me for complaining about non refund within free look period

A person claiming to be from club mahindra calls me from[protected], to ask another banks debit card details, for refunding and i refused to provide the debit card details (To an unknown person, and that too on phone, i think iam justified in being careful),, then goes to say that i posted a complaint on the consumer forum that the company is not responding to my cancellation request within the freelook period, and becoz i posted complaint, they refuse to give refund.., bluffs further saying that they cant refund on private bank cards.., before i asked him if there is any other way.., he just hung the phone on his end, dint even give me time to know if there is any other better way, and i called back number of times, no response.., no one from company told me that i cant complain, or that i wont get refund if i post a complaint and ask for justice.., is it there in the fine print?? If so, why dint anyone tell me about it before they could swipe my card? And why did they login my application in such a hurry? Even after i requested for stopping the application process itself?? And now telling all funny stories..?
And the best joke is., they never communicate any matter by emails., why cant they convey the same by email to me?
If atall if this number belongs to clubmahindra?? I requested you many times, to communicate to me by email, u never respond to my emails, except an occasional one!

Club mahindra is not a trust worthy company, looking the way they operate.., entire function is like a string operation, just to trap the customers and leave them high and dry, there is no one who responds, on the phone lines, they dont do any front end communication through emails, some mysterious persons call us, and just cut off the phones before we can speak anything, their agents, tell all busy stories, out of station stories, to attend our requirement., they have no intentions to resolve any issue, no committment to attend to any problem, they have no intention of whatsoever to do service to the customer.., they come with big bag of lies and try to steal your personal sensitive, card and bank details.. Etc.,,

Dear consumers.., please beware..!! This is my personal experience! Please save yourself!!

I have sent all the documents for cancellation, within the stipulated time period, and also communicated the same by emails and phone also., now they started trying to threaten me, saying that becoz i complained, etc etc, give us your debit card detail., etc etc, we cant refund on private bank cards, etc etc.., that too not through email communication, all off channel few seconds, call drops, they dont even confirm their identities, when u cross question or ask any logical question, they cleverly hang up the phone call (The very few times, that they hardly attend) on you, no courtesies, no manners.., nothing for which a club memebrship can be taken!
I think people, whoever reads this experience will use their discrimination.., whether or not to associate with club mahindra.., dear consumers, do not fall prey to this company!

i want a proper email communication from the company, not some off handed mysterious phone calls, on which you hardly allow any discussion by the customer ! iam asking my refund for which a customer is entitled by the very clause that you printed on the application., your approach is not transparent, not genuine., the way you avoid, taking calls and non availability for any service request, and non response to any email, giving mysterious phone numbers, which are switched off any time we call., your agents always perpetually travelling out of stations, but when a customer is ready to pay, they land on their wings from out of station, immediately, or send some one else to collect money, you wont explain any procedural matters, u wont give any communucation channels that are genuine, all your agents are single point contacts, .., all this looks very suspicious and leads anyone to doubt your intentions.

Do resolve my issue and please revert the payment that you received from me to the same card otherwise please issue me a credit note, at the earliest, anyone is bound to get rattled on their nerves, when there is no proper transparency., on the other end.! When there is no response and the agenta dont tell us the procedure, maintain some secrecy., which appears like some underhanded behaviour !! Leaving the customer no choice but to raise their voice on the consumer forum !! If there was an answer and timely positive or atleast an empathic response from the company !! Customer can wait, but they cant wait for the company to take its own time right ! They have a very limited 10 days free look period, before which they need confirmation from the company that the customers concern is being heard ! But there was no such sign from the companies end ! I had to call so many times, even to establish a minimum communication, and when expressed my withdrawl plans to the agent, he still tried to conceal the procedure, and i felt that my 10 days free look period is just being wasted, so that i can be locked inside the membership ! Which iam not conveinced looking at the first hand experience of the poor customer care !!

Iam still waiting for the company to atleast come forward and address my concerns and reply to my email in a proper mature manner ! I dint expect this type of experience form you club mahindra, Iam posting all this on social media, becoz the company is refusing to listen to the customers phones, mails, and proper channel communication ! Which they are supposed to, as a matter of fact !

Iam only asking for the full refund for which iam entitled according to the clause ! And iam asking for the company to give me proper communication through email, and give me a cancellation confirmation through the email ., i dont think iam asking too much from the company ! I want an empathic response from the company !!

Appreciate mr Joseph from chennai customer care, who cared to hear my situation and also mr santosh from member experience for his assistance and care ! These are two souls whom i felt committed so far ! And also the branch manager who cared to consider my point of view for cancellation ! Truly appreciate Your assistance !! I will post update once i receive the refund on my credit card !!
