As a member who has consistently paid the ASF, I find it unreasonable that the company chooses to block bookings rather than simply withholding 7 days or not crediting those days to the account until the payment is made.
To elaborate, I had made a booking for Ashtamudi Resort, but it was blocked solely due to the ASF issue. This occurred even before any lapse in the payment deadline, and I was not provided with any prior alerts or notifications via phone or SMS. This lack of communication and the abrupt blocking of my booking indicates that the company's focus may be more on enforcing payments rather than genuinely assisting members in enjoying their holidays.
Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that the 11+ nights I am entitled to are valued at approximately ₹55, 000. If this issue cannot be resolved amicably and fairly, I may have to explore legal avenues to ensure that my hard-earned money is not wasted.
