Cognizant — interview status as "select" from cognizant talent acquisition team - still not received offer letter

I attended an interview at CTS(Lakshmi Tech Park, Kandanchavadi) on Jan 4th 2020 and cleared all the face to face technical rounds (Dot net position). At the end Hr discussion completed, HR informed me that I will receive my offer letter in a week but I haven't received yet. Meanwhile I received an email from cts talent acquisition to upload my Photo in one of their portal on Jan 7th 2020, I have uploaded on the same day.

Also i had received mail "interview status as select" from cognizant talent acquisition team on Jan 09th 2020.

After that, I haven't received any updates. I am not sure if normally they would take almost a month to release the offer letter.

Its been 3 months, still i have not received any offer letter or response from cognizant team.

Based on the select status email, i have resigned my previous job, Kindly do the needful.

My joining date in cognizant is last week of May 2020. My doubt is due to this covid19 pandemic will there be any problem in the on boarding or will there be a change in joining date. Please clarify this.

Some people suggesting to get back the resignation but I dont want to go back to my previous boss for revoking it.
